Revenge. Approvals and Choco Nut Bars
Lena was undoubtedly furious with Brandon. She couldn't believe that he'd just threaten her new friend like that! It was out of line and plain awful. Plus, Brandon threatening Kara was technically speaking, illegal, because he's 18 and Kara's only 16, she decided it was time Brandon get taught a lesson and there was one person who without a doubt, would be down to help right away. She approached Alex Danvers, who was in her math class.
"Hey Alex" Lena said, Alex looked up, she recognized Lena from the other day.
"Hey, Lena right? I forgot to thank you for looking out for my baby sister yesterday. These kids are such assholes" Alex huffed with frustration.
"No worries, I couldn't stand to see that. I was wondering if you could help me with something?" Lena asked.
"Sure, what's up?" Alex asked.
"My friend, well, ex friend, was harassing Kara yesterday. I don't know if she told you, but I had to find out from Sara, Laurel's sister, because her boyfriend Oliver is the football captain and this friend used to be on the team" Lena explained. Alex was in shock, she was partly angry, no she was really angry, but it wasn't Lena's fault here, it was obviously Brandon's.
"What can I do?" She asked. Lena grinned mischievously as she sat in the chair next to Alex and whispered into her ear. Alex nodded and stifled a laugh at what Lena's idea was.
Brandon came out of his class to see kids laughing and pointing at him, he was confused until he went over to his locker and saw a photo of himself from 3rd grade, wearing a bright, pink and blue, my little pony designed dress. His face flushed a deep red as his eyes went wide, realizing it was plastered all over the school, on EVERYBODY'S locker, including a giant poster right outside of the girls locker room.
"Who did this!?" He yelled, "Who did this!" He was infuriated, but he was more embarrassed, like deeply embarrassed. The only other time he was this embarrassed was when in 9th grade he had gotten sick, and his mom came rushing into the classroom, holding some medicine in her hand and calling him her “Baby Brandon Boo Boo Bear”, right in front of his entire class.
Lena and Alex snickered from far in the back. They knew pranking him was wrong, but he deserved it! Plus, Alex was honestly happy to see someone willing to humiliate their ex best friend in support of her baby sister.
Brandon ripped off all the photos, his face red with embarrassment. When he got to the one outside of the girls locker room, it was too high for him to reach it. So he jumped up and ended up falling face first on the ground. Everyone just laughed at him again. Alex came out and shoved him against the wall.
“Trouble in paradise?” Alex asked. Brandon let out a small growl.
“Danvers! Of course! This was fucking obviously your doing!” Brandon growled. “All because I gave your freak of a sister a warning.” Alex’s eyes grew dark, it was like she wasn’t human for a second. It wasn’t actually Alex who did this, it was Lena. Alex was just the look out.
“Touch my sister again, and being embarrassed in front of the entire school will be the least of your worries” Alex threatened. Brandon kicked her off and shoved her to the ground, throwing a powerful hit to her face. Oliver, who was in the gym during his, ran over and pulled him back while Lena ran over to check on Alex.
“You fucking moron! You just did three very wrong things. 1) you hit a girl, 2) you literally hit alex fucking danvers. and 3) you hit a minor! God you’re so stupid” Oliver cried as he dragged his stupid ex team mate away.
“Alex, are you okay? Did he hurt you?” Lena asked with a worried expression on her face. Alex touched her lips and felt blood.
“I’m fine. Come on, let’s just report him to the cops” Alex groaned as she wiped away the blood on her lips.
Alex and Lena reported Brandon to the school police, who took their statements and handled the situation. Lena was only a little bit in trouble because Ms. Grant actually understood why she did that. She was given a warning, because Lena was a clean slate.
Brandon Lord was arrested for assaulting and threatening two minors. His parents were to say the least, angry. His mother Jessica was crying, saying he’s just a baby and those ‘bitches’ need to be locked up for good, actually she demanded they get sent off to prison on some isolated island because they’re evil and cruel to her baby, she even tried to choke Alex when she saw her. His father Nicholas on the other hand, thought prison would be a great place for Brandon to get his head out of his ass and into the real world, where his mommy can’t save him all the time.
“Please don’t arrest him, he’s my baby” Jessica cried. She saw Alex and Lena in the corner. “You” she growled at Alex, “You did this!” She ran over and slammed Alex into a locker, grabbing ahold of her neck. “You did this my baby!” She cried as she choked Alex. Lena took her back- pack off and hit Mrs. Lord over the head with it. Causing her to let go of Alex and fall down. Alex took a moment to collect her breathing again.
“Are you okay?” Lena asked, worried. Alex shook her head, “Do you want some water?” She asked with concern. Alex nodded. Lena took Alex’s backpack and handed her, her water bottle .
“Thanks” Alex said as she took it and took a couple of sips. “also, can you hand me one of my choco nut bars?” She asked, Lena let out a laugh and opened Alex’s front pocket where it held a box of a 16 pack choco nut bars. Handing her a choco nut bar.
“Thanks” Alex said. Lena looked at her sweetly.
“No problem” Lena replied.
“I like you. You’ve got my approval” Alex tells Lena. Lena blinked a few times,’confused.
“Approval?” She asked. Alex nodded.
“Yeah, to be close to Kara. I know it’s silly but a lot of people have taken advantage of her and it always ends up hurting her. You’re clearly a good person, and I like you enough to give you my approval” Alex said, punching Lena in the arm.
“Ow!” Lena whined. Alex laughed
“Sorry” Alex apologized. Lena laughed.
“It’s okay. Thanks for your approval” Lena said to her. Alex smiled as she headed off to the next class. But not before having another choco nut bar.
