This Is A Nightmare
Kara thought the bullying was over for the day. Brandon was sent off and Lena made it pretty clear to Grace and Selena to back off from Kara, but sadly, she was mistaken. In fact, her day was going to get a lot heavier and sadder. Kara gathered her items from her locker and was now prepared to go home. She stepped out, and the sun was shining in her eyes, where she met up with Alex and Jason. The three of them walked to Jason's car, when lod and behold, Maxwell Lord, stops them.
"Danvers, we need to have a little talk" He said, Jason, Alex and Kara exchanged looks.
"Which one?" Jason asked with a sarcastic smirk. Maxwell rolled his eyes.
"The tiny one" He said, pointing at Kara.
"sorry, my sister is not available for your mistreatment at this moment" Jason told him.
"Your sister is the reason my brother got kicked off the team. I have a proposition for you, Danvers" Max said.
"I'm listening?" Jason asked, eyebrow raised.
"Tell Queen to give Brandon back his position on the team, and I'll make sure your sweet baby sister never has to deal with us again" Max told him. Jason shook his head.
"Yeah, no. I'm gay, not stupid" Jason told him. For the past year and a half, Jason's been openly dating Roy Harper, but they were together longer..
"Aw, that's too bad" Max said, with a snap of his fingers, his friends ran towards them and Jason ran at them to prevent them from hurting Alex or Kara. One of Max's friends, Jake, took out a knife he snuck into the school and as Jason was trying to push him away, jabbed it into Jason. It wasn't a hit to a vital organ, but a hit indeed.
Jason froze, the pain of the knife entered him.
"JASON!" Kara and Alex yelled together when they realized what had happened. . Jake realized what he did.
"Fuck dude! what the hell did you just do?!" Maxwell said as he saw Jason fall to the ground.
"I didn't mean it!" Jake spat, fear overpowering him.
"You idiot! you just stabbed the student body president!" Maxwell replied, him and his goons took off as Kara and Alex ran over to Jason, who was now gasping for air.
"Jason!" Alex said, she lifted his head and put it on her lap. "You'll be okay Jason, just stay with me," she tells him as she grabbed her phone and called 911.
"Ka..Kara" Jason said weakley. Kara scooted closer.
"I'm here Jason, I'm here" she said she grabbed his hand.
"You're a fighter, Kare Bear" Jason says, "You look after each other, and look after Roy"
"Stop, don't talk like that" Kara demanded. Laurel exited the school to see them.
"Oh my God" she ran over, Kara knew Laurel and Jason were inseparable as friends.
"What happened?" She asked Kara.
"Max's friend Jake Longhorn stabbed him" Kara replied. She looked back down.
"You'll be fine Jason. The ambulance is on its way" She said. Jason looked over and saw Laurel.
"Laur.." he said in a raspy voice.
"I'm here Jay, stay with us okay?" She said as she knelt down.
"Take care of them will you?" he asked, tears fell down Laurel's face.
"I won't need to, because you'll be fine" Laurel whispers, "You're my friend Jay. mine and Ollie's. You can't leave" Laurel said. Jason's eyes slowly closed.
"Jason! come on, open your eyes" Laurel weeped, she kissed his forehead and wrapped her arms around Kara and Alex.
The ambulance arrived and loaded Jason in. Kara and Alex were allowed to ride with him and Laurel got a ride from a police escort, a good friend of her dad's.
This was a nightmare, and all Kara could do was pray to Rao and God, that another person she loved, wasn't taken away from her.
