Sleepy Mornings

Without a doubt, Andy's favorite part of her day was waking up to the wonderful woman, Maya Bishop, whom she was lucky enough to call her girlfriend, today was no different.

Andy woke up to the soft light of the early morning streaming in through the windows of Maya's apartment. She blinked her eyes open and turned her head to the side, taking in the sight of Maya's sleeping form next to her. Maya's chest rose and fell rhythmically with each breath, her light blonde hair spread out over the pillow.

Andy smiled to herself, feeling a warmth spread through her chest. This was her favorite part of the day, waking up in Maya's arms. She loved the way Maya's arms felt around her, the way Maya's body fit against hers.

As she lay there, Andy thought about all the things she loved about Maya. She loved the way Maya laughed, the way Maya's eyes lit up when she talked about something she was passionate about. She loved the way Maya kissed her, the way Maya held her.

Andy shifted slightly, snuggling closer to Maya. Maya stirred, her eyes opening slowly as she looked down at Andy.

"Morning," Maya murmured, her voice rough with sleep.

"Morning," Andy replied, smiling up at Maya.

Maya leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to Andy's lips. Andy wrapped her arms around Maya's neck, deepening the kiss. She loved the way Maya tasted, the way Maya's lips felt against hers.

They pulled apart, Maya settling back down beside Andy. Andy rested her head on Maya's chest, listening to the steady beat of Maya's heart.

"I love waking up next to you," Andy said softly.

Maya smiled, running her fingers through Andy's hair. "I love having you here," she replied.

They lay there for a while longer, enjoying the peacefulness of the morning. Andy felt content, happy, and loved. She knew that as long as she had Maya, everything would be okay.
