When you look at me like that, my darling what did you expect?

Enid stormed angrily into the oracle's cave, her entrance accompanied by a bright flashing silver light illuminating the stone walls.
“Delphi! You useless back-stabbing bitch! Where are you?”
Enid screamed, her voice echoing back at her from the dark cave.

“She’s mine, you told me that she was mine and now you’re keeping her away from me!”
She yelled frantically while looking around the cave, searching for the oracle.
“If you don’t tell me where she is right now, I’ll destroy this fucking cave do you hear me!”
The goddess screams looking around the cave frantically searching for any sign of the oracle.

“We both know you can’t do that E”
Enid stiffens as she hears a voice behind her, grinding her teeth she turns around and snaps at the instigator of this whole shit show.
Tyler appears behind her a warm yellow glow flashing for a moment as he enters the cave.
“Tyler…you have the gall of showing your face around me after the shit you just pulled!”

Tyler takes a step closer to Enid, the sun god lets out a small sigh trying to explain himself.
“Enid, she deserves to kn-”

“I GET TO DECIDE WHAT SHE DESERVES SHES MINE! YOU DISGUSTING WORM.”
Enid snarls getting in the sun gods face and grabbing his shirt.
Tyler's eyes widen as Enid easily lifts him and slams him against the stone wall of the cave. He tries to pry her hands off his shirt but she doesn’t budge.

Enid looks at him with disgust.
“I always forget how much weaker you are than the rest of us. Not quite a god…not quite a man.”
She throws him against a bolder knocking the breath out of him and causing him to kneel over panting heavily in an attempt to draw air back into his lungs.

“Just some kind of in-between abomination. You’re lucky Apollo took mercy on you otherwise your mortal life would have been…tragically cut short.”

While he desperately tries to regain control of his breathing Enid rolls him onto his back.
“The oracle…where is she? She was here when I was looking for Wednesday but now that I’m back she's suddenly nowhere to be found.”
Enid kneels beside him running a hand through her hair.

“Now look what you’ve done, my hair’s all messed up.”
She grumbles out before sighing deeply.
“Look you’re the closest thing I have to family, and I honestly don’t feel like killing you. After all Artemis and Apollo wanted us to look out for one another. But if you think you can keep her away from me you-”

“Enid leave him alone!”
A large predatory smile grows on Enid’s face as she turns to look at the oracle. Behind her, Tyler is desperately trying to stand up but his lungs still refuse to let him breathe.

“Look who finally decided to show up,”
Enid smirked, her eyes flashing a deep black before returning to their normal blue as she got closer and closer to Delphi.
“It’s almost like you were hiding from me.”

“Enid please she deserved to know and now she just needs some time to think about everything.”
Delphi rushed out trying to calm the raging goddess.

“But where is she Delphi?! Where is my fucking wife?!”
Enid yelled in the oracle's face. Her eyes now completely black, the kind of black that should only appear in the deep corners of space where no light exists. Where nothing exists.

“Enid please everything will work out as it should.”
Delphi says firmly, while she might be intimidated by Enid, she’s lived far longer than her and refuses to be afraid.

“Oh, will it? Maybe you can show me…actually yes show me.”
She demands turning the oracle around to face the wall of the cave.

Delphi takes a deep breath closing her eyes before opening them again, they start glowing a sea-green color as she starts flashing images onto the wall of the cave.

Enid watches as her life starts to play on the wall of the cave.
“Wait this isn’t-”

“I see a song of past romance.”
Delphi whispers showing Enid an image of a man and a woman’s silhouettes from behind before the woman suddenly diapers.

“I see the sacrifice of man.”
Delphi whispers showing an image of Enid trying to fight off the pack of wolves that killed her.

“This isn’t what I asked for!”
“I see portrayals of betrayal and a sister's final stand.”
The image changes to Enid’s mother forcing her father and brothers to keep walking as Enid gets attacked.

“I see you on the brink of death, I see you draw your final breath.”
Delphi mumbles once again showing Enid trying desperately to fight the wolves off before succumbing to their attack and dying, her eyes looking up at the stars.

“I see a woman who got to make it out alive. But she’s no longer you.”
Delphi says showing an image of Artemis changing Enid into a goddess and bringing her back from the dead.

“This isn’t what I asked for! What is going to happen between me and Wednesday?”
Enid demands grabbing Delphi’s shoulders and shaking her.
Delphi’s eyes change from sea green to a bright metallic red.

“I see a pit covered in red…faces of people now long dead.”
She mumbles showing the pit where the Addams had been held, the walls and floor stained with blood, and the bodies of the Addams that have died piled in the corners.
“I see your wife with a man who is haunting, a man with a trail of bodies.”
The next image terrified Enid, it showed Wednesday being towered over by a man in a sealed-off cave.
“No, she’s not supposed to find him yet! She’s not there is she?”
Enid asked Delphi but the oracle ignores her and stops speaking which just makes her angrier.

“Is she with him or not?”
Enid hisses out, glaring at the oracle.
Delphi sighs and shakes her head, her eyes returning to normal.
“No she’s not with him but she will be soon. You are the one who set this path into motion all those years ago, you cannot truly be surprised.”

Enid sighs placing her head in her hands, “That’s fine…this is all fine. She had to end up there at some point I just thought it would be later…is everything ready?”
Enid whispers, her voice sounding a lot more vulnerable than it did before.

“Like everything is good right?”
She asks Delphi quietly.

The oracle just sighs and nods her head.
“Everything is in motion, the dominos will all fall as they should and the ending you seek is visible…but as I told you when you set out on this endeavor the future is not like clay. You do not shape it with your hands alone, many people are involved in the ending that you seek and if one of them chooses to they could give you an ending that you were not anticipating.”

Enid looks over at Tyler who finally manages to sit up.
“You mean people like him?”

The oracle instantly realizes her mistake and rushes to correct it.
“No! Not him Enid. There is nothing that he could do to keep you from your ending this I promise you.”

The oracle's words didn’t stop Enid as she made her way closer and closer to the sun god.
“Are you sure about that Delphi? Because ya know…I might not be able to do anything to you.”
Enid murmurs stepping closer to Tyler whose body starts to tremble in fear.

“But maybe I should show you what I can do to the things you care about if you withhold information from me.”

Enid’s eyes turn black as she grabs onto Tyler’s hair pulling him up like a ragdoll.
“You understand I could snap him in half, right?”
Enid giggles, shaking Tyler while he whimpers and tries to pry her hands off of him.

“And trust me I wouldn't feel bad doing it after what he pulled… taking my wife here of all places…but I am trying to be a merciful goddess. So all I will do is this.”
Without any warning, Enid slams Tyler down and snaps his wrist causing dim golden light to flash over the room while he screams. Delphi can only watch in shock as Enid drops the sun god to the floor.

“Next time my wife is about to do something stupid you tell me.”
She says before teleporting out of the cave, covering it in silver light as she leaves the oracle holding Tyler’s wrist.

“It’s alright Tyler it’ll heal soon, it’s alright.”
She whispers trying to soothe the injured god.

“T-the Addam’s is she g-going to be alright?”
Tyler gasps out in between his pained whimpers.
Delphi sighs and nods before responding.
“She will be fine…everything is happening as it should.”

Tyler laughs bitterly still holding his wrist, “You mean as Enid needs it to…so all this bloodshed won’t be for nothing.”

Delphi sighs holding Tyler’s shoulder as his wrist slowly heals.
“Tyler you are my dearest friend, and you must know that there is no path where Enid does not get what she wants. At least not one that is not covered in more blood than what we have already seen.”

The oracle explains calmly, “It best to step back and let the dominos fall where they may…that way no one else will get hurt.”

Tyler coughs and looks at her weakly, "You talk about dominos a lot."
