If the Avengers had daemons, Tony’s would be something destructive

Usually this one has Tony’s scared, shy daemon being pitied or harassed by Team Cap’s daemons. But considering TONY is the one who bullies others and all of the others have at least as much trauma as Tony (and probably more), their daemons would reflect that.
Note: Set before the party in Age of Ultron.

Thor was fascinated with the mortals’ daemons. He’d never seen anything like them in the other realms, including Asgard.

He’d learned very quickly NOT to touch them without permission. Jane’s Kea had taught him that with a nip from a sharp beak.

He stood in a corner of the room and watched. Sam Son of Wil had a beautiful bird of prey, currently perched on a railing watching everything with a keen eye. Beside Sam’s falcon was an equally beautiful hawk, the daemon of Clint Barton. James Rhodes’ osprey completed the set.

Maria Hill’s beaver was lazily gnawing on a twig, turning it into a tiny spear.

Thor had expected Natasha Romanov’s daemon to be the deadly spider known as the black widow. But a fox was curled by her side listening and watching from sleepy-looking eyes.

A golden retriever was the name of the dog leaning against Steven’s leg. The breed was known for an even temper and high intelligence. Thor could admit he enjoyed its canine smile.

He had seen many of the daemons fierce in battle. It was good to see them peaceful and unharmed.

The peace was disturbed as Tony Stark flung open the doors. He announced, “Let’s get ready to party!”

His squirrel raced around the room, jumping from table to bar to shelf. It knocked over bottles, glasses, and other objects without regard for the damage. It then returned to Stark’s soldier and groomed itself as if nothing had happened.

Bruce Banner had a koala curled around his arm. Apparently the creatures were known for general cuteness but sudden viciousness. It somehow looked tense, swiveling its head around like it didn’t trust its surroundings.

Steven looked up and asked, “How is your study of the scepter going?”

Stark said, “Oh, nothing too interesting so far. But I think that’s about to change.”

Banner’s koala somehow looked even more upset. Stark’s squirrel seemed to smirk the same as Stark.

All of the other daemons came alert at that. Thor felt a sense of foreboding.

Steven and Natasha looked at each other, then stood. Natasha said, “Maybe we should take a look at your progress.”

Thor nodded to himself and set down his drink.

Suddenly Stark’s squirrel shrieked and leapt at Steven, claws spread as if aiming for his face.

It never landed. Steven’s dog showed its hunting skills at it stretched, caught the squirrel in its jaws, and flung it to an empty part of the couch. Natasha’s fox growled at it, while the trio of birds landed on the couch back and LOOMED.

Maria Hill’s beaver flipped the spear in its paws as Maria asked, “What was that about?”

Thor didn’t bother to listen to the explanation. He quickly walked to Stark’s lab and yanked the scepter from the cradle it was in.

He had a feeling from the “upload bar” on a nearby screen that Stark was NOT “studying.”

Remembering a film Darcy (and her chinchilla) had showed him, he also pulled all the plugs on the computers and sent lightning through the one doing the uploading--just in case.

As he returned to the room, he heard Rhodes saying, “Hey, at least Tony’s daemon is a mammal. Its first form was a tick.”

Thor could believe it.
