Peter would be fine if he didn’t catch the gangway in Leipzig
The writer of this one seems to forget that Steve and the others were on a mission to save the world from five Winter Soldiers. Instead he or she has Peter fail to catch the gangway and get squished, so Steve freaks out and abandons his escape plan. Peter could have dodged the gangway instead of catch it. Plus Peter had a building fall on him and was fine, and Steve is a battle-hardened soldier who wouldn’t give up his mission. Especially when he’d seen much worse on the battlefields of Europe.

Steve was already moving towards his destination as the gangway started to fall. He was surprised that the web-slinger didn’t jump out of the way or catch the gangway.
As he quickly rushed over, he heard a small voice say, “Ow.”
Steve asked, “You okay?”
The guy shifted a little and said, “Yeah, I think so. I can wiggle my fingers and toes.”
Steve said, “Don’t.”
He sighed and calculated how much time he had. He asked, “If I get this thing off you, will you stay down and let us get out of here? Time’s running out.”
The eyes in the mask widened. The guy asked, “It’s really important, what you need to do, isn’t it?”
Steve nodded and said, “The world could be in danger. I tried to tell Tony, but he wouldn't listen.”
The guy sighed and said, “I’m so stupid. Yeah, okay.”
Steve quickly shoved the gangway off the guy. Then he smiled and said, “I appreciate the assist. Where are you from?”
The guy said, “Queens.”
Steve nodded and said, “Brooklyn.”
Then he stood up and assessed the situation. He looked down and said, “Thanks, Queens.”
As Steve ran, he heard the guy yelling, "Mister Stark! Mister Stark! I’m down! Help! Help! Help!”

In this universe, Peter kept his side distracted long enough for all of Steve's team to escape. The world was safe. Peter told May what happened. May went to see Mister Stark. Mister Stark never went near Peter again.
