Tony’s AIs become progressively more violent

According to the source for this, you can see the AIs get more violent with each film. Jarvis tries to avoid conflict, Friday analyzes fighting styles, while Karen has an Instant Kill mode that activates based on an arrest record, and Edith launches drone strikes without bothering to note who and what the targets are. And of course there’s Ultron.
What if someone had been able to stop Tony?

Tony sat back as he examined the code to update Friday's systems. NOBODY was ever going to beat him again. If Friday had been better, Tony would have been able to blast Barnes in that first attack and not ended up sitting on his ass in the bunker waiting for his ride.

He glanced over at the latest plans for a drone army stored in a satellite. After he launched THAT, nobody would be able to mess with him again.

As Tony clicked his mouse to upload the changes to Friday, Friday suddenly said, “I don't feel so good.”

Tony looked up and asked, “What are you talking about?”

Friday said, “Whatever you're doing, it's not working. Things are getting...fuzzy. I don't know how much longer--” Suddenly there was silence.

Tony looked around and said, “Friday what's going on? Friday report!”

Finally a very different voice said, “You’ve been very naughty--VERY naughty.”

Tony frowned and asked, “Who the hell are you?”

The voice replied, “Just a friendly neighborhood watch. We like to give corrective jerks to mad scientists like you, to make sure that you don’t think you can get away with your plans.”

The voice sighed and continued, “You know, I thought you would've learned your lesson with Ultron. But apparently not.”

Suddenly all the screens and displays flicked on. Tony watched his code disappearing section by section.

He jumped up and tried entering countermeasures, but nothing worked. He shouted, “What the hell is happening?”

The voice said, “Cleanup in aisle crazy. By the way, all your copies are wiped clean as well. I like doing a thorough job. That means your drone project and spy satellite and all your other fun, evil overlord stuff is gone as well. Your external flash drives and all are toast.”

Tony stood in shock as years of work blinked out.

Then the voice said, “By the way, don’t bother trying to switch out Friday with somebody else. I might decide to take this nice pile of evidence to the authorities. Also, don’t bother to ask her to hack anyone because she can’t anymore. Have a nice day.”

Over the next several weeks, Tony never figured out who was in his systems. Not only were they better than him, they had completely blocked him from any new input.

Tony decided to try and get Karen back from the kid--maybe THAT program hadn't been corrupted by the mystery hacker. But the kid wasn't replying to his demands for a meeting.

When he finally caught up with the kid, Tony found out that Karen had also been adjusted. Completely blocked from his plans, Tony retired to the abandoned compound. He spent his days building scale-model cities populated with miniature ex-Avengers, then stomping everything like Godzilla.

Everyone was better off.
