Chapter 12
You were walking through the streets of Vale with Glynda, enjoying the warm sunshine on your skin and the bustle of the city around you. Suddenly, you felt someone brush up against you and reach for your purse.
Instinctively, you turned and caught the thief's arm, but he struggled against you, trying to break free. Glynda stepped in, her eyes flashing with anger.
"Let her go," she said in a low, dangerous voice.
The thief looked up at her, taking in her stern expression and the power radiating from her. He quickly realized he had made a mistake and tried to back away, but Glynda didn't let him go.
"You think it's alright to steal from innocent people?" she demanded, her grip tightening on the thief's arm.
The thief shook his head, stammering out an apology. Glynda gave him one last warning glare before letting him go and turning back to you.
"Are you alright?" she asked, her eyes scanning you for any signs of harm.
You nodded, still a little shaken from the encounter. But with Glynda by your side, you knew you were safe. She wrapped an arm around you protectively, leading you away from the scene.
"I won't let anyone hurt you," she said firmly. "You're too important to me."
You felt a warm glow in your chest at her words, grateful for the strong and protective presence that Glynda offered. You leaned into her embrace, feeling safe and loved.
As you walked away from the incident, you knew that with Glynda by your side, you could face anything.
