Chapter 9

You had always admired Glynda Goodwitch from afar, watching her as she commanded attention with her poise and grace. You couldn't help but be drawn to her, even as you tried to suppress your feelings. She was everything you wanted to be - confident, intelligent, and powerful.

As you entered Atlas Academy and became one of Glynda's students, you found yourself struggling to focus on anything but her. Every time she spoke, you listened intently, hanging on her every word. Every time she looked your way, your heart skipped a beat.

You couldn't deny your feelings any longer. You were in love with Glynda, even though you knew she could never feel the same way. She was your teacher, your mentor, and you were just a student. It was an impossible love, and you knew it.

Despite this, you couldn't help but daydream about a different future. A future where you and Glynda were together, where you could hold her in your arms and tell her how much you loved her. But that future seemed so far away, so impossible.

One day, after class, you mustered up the courage to speak to Glynda. You wanted to tell her how you felt, even if it meant risking your friendship.

"Glynda, I...I have to tell you something," you stammered, your heart pounding in your chest.

Glynda turned to face you, a small smile on her lips. "What is it?" she asked.

"I know this might sound crazy, but...I think I'm in love with you," you said, looking down at your feet.

Glynda's smile faded, replaced by a look of concern. "I'm sorry," she said softly. "But I can't feel the same way. You're my student, and I'm your teacher. We can't have that kind of relationship."

You felt your heart shatter into a million pieces. You had known deep down that Glynda could never feel the same way, but to hear it out loud was devastating. You tried to hold back tears as you nodded, turning to leave the classroom.

As you walked away, you couldn't help but feel like you had lost something precious. Your unrequited love for Glynda had been the driving force in your life for so long, and now it was gone. But you knew that you had to move on, even if it hurt. You still admired Glynda, still looked up to her, but your love had to remain unrequited.
