Welcome to Amphibia
In the land of Amphibia, the forests are filled with dangerous wildlife. Creatures the size of houses, skyscrapers even. However there are three creatures that prove to be the higher ups.
The Heron. A tall bird like creature with a razer sharp beak. The Heron only knows how to do one thing, and that's kill. When one sees a Heron, they must run and hide away or else they will become a Heron snack.
The Mantis. Similar to Earth's Praying Mantis, this insect, the size of a two and a half story home, wanders the woods ready to devour any creature it comes across. It's scythe like arms prove useful to defend itself against predators. It also may seem weak, but it has a strength that makes it a deadly foe.
The Costal Kill-a-Moth. Though it resembles attributes of the Earth cat, this creature is not as friendly. It takes to the air as it spy's on it's prey from above, ready to swoop in and snatch and devour anybody unfortunate to cross it's path.
These three predators alone are dangerous in there own way, but if they were to work together, would be deadly for everyone...
---------------------------------------+-------------------------------------------------
Twas' a beautiful night in Wartwood, and all through the village, not a creature was sturing, except for a group of frogs hanging out at the local Grub n' Go.
They were cheering on a one eyed blue frog who was chugging down a huge drink.
"CHUG! CHUG! CHUG! CHUG!"
The frog, whose apparent name was One-Eyed Wally, had gulped down the last drop and slammed the wooden mug onto the table and released a loud burp.
The rest of the bar responded with a loud cheer as Wally struggled to keep his balance.
"A new record from One-Eyed Wally," replied Stumpy, the owner of the restaurant/Bar. He was a old frog who had lost both his hands, but replaced them with kitchenware prosthetics.
While everyone was cheering inside, outside of the bar a group of ladybugs pulled up with a bunch of rotten looking toads riding them.
Inside, Wally proceeded to order another drink, only to be interupted by the door to the bar being busted off it's hinges.
Everyone instantly got quiet as they looked over to see a group of toads entering the building.
"The Dragon Toads," one of them gasped.
There were about 13 of them. Each one was wearing a armor chest piece as well as helmets that made them look like they had spikey mohawks. The main one was slightly bigger than the rest wearing full armor and no helmet. He also had a smaller toad on his shoulder.
He let out a loud laugh that caused everyone to flinch.
"Alright, y'all should know the drill by now. Everything that seems valuable is ours now."
Wally's mind told him to comply, however, his body was to drunk to listen.
"H-hey now - hiccup- you want i-i-i-it, come through meee."
"Are you making fun of us," the leader asked.
"Mayb-be I am, maybe I ain't. W-w-will we see."
Then, out of nowhere, Wally spat right in his face. The leader wipe the saliva off his face, then responded by smacking Wally across the room.
Wally instantly went sober as he landed on his back hard. He figured he could make a run for it, but was instantly grabbed and chucked out the bar.
The leader walked out and grabbed a stone club out of a pouch on his ladybug.
Wally got back on his feet only to be knocked back down by the other toads that followed their leader. They had formed a circle around the poor frog to prevent him from escaping.
"You know the rules frog: Can't pay the price, you lose your life."
The leader lifted the club over his head as Wally braced for impact. He prayed that he would be spared. He hoped for a miracle.
Suddenly, as if on cue to the frog's wishes, an arrow flew out the woods surrounding the bar and knocked the club right out the old toad's hand. He turned to see where his club had landed, only to be speechless by what he saw.
THE ARROW HAD PIERCED STRAIGHT THROUGH THE STONE CLUB AND HAD IT PINNED TO THE WALL RIGHT NEXT TO THE ENTRANCE OF THE BAR!
He turned to see where see where the arrow had came from, only to see a figure sitting on a tree branch. He couldn't make out much since the darkness prevented it, but he could make out the bow and arrow in the figure's hand. The figure had a lime green outline, and he could have sworn it had two glowing dots for eyes.
He was drawn to another sound as two other figures jumped out of some buses. They were both wearing dark grey cloaks, hunting gloves and boots. There clothing composed of dark grey tunics(a tad bit darker than the cloaks) and what appeared to be pants and masks.
The only difference was that one was wearing pants with a cyan color, whilst the other was pink. But that wasn't all. The cyan one was wearing a blue mask that resembled a Costal Kill-a-Moth. The other was wearing a red mask that resembled a Heron.
The "Moth" was holding a bo staff rapped in a blue ribbon, whilst the "Heron" held two swords with pink handles.
The lime green figure hopped out the forest and landed in front of the other two. Like the others, it was wearing the same clothes, only with lime green pants. It's green mask resembled a mantis. The bow and arrow in it's hands was clearly made of wood with a green handle. The arrows had green colored feathers as well as green ribbons hanging off. Their cloaks were held together by white gems.
Everyone was quiet as these three unknown figures stood between Wally and the toads.
Suddenly, the silence was interpreted by the leader's anger.
"CUT OF THEIR HEADS AND BRING THEM TO ME"
The toads let out a few battle cries before charging at the three.
However, they had no problem taking down the toads.
The "Moth" quickly stabbed it's staff into the ground as they lifted themselves of the ground, using it as a pivot as they literally walked on the toad's charging at them, knocking them on their butts.
The "Heron" proceeded to parry enemy sword attack, using their strength to knock them back.
The "Mantis" proceeded to flip over toads as they began firing arrows left and right. The tips of the arrows weren't sharp but had flat rocks that instantly knocked out the toads on impact.
Left and right, toads went flying, even those who came close were beating down, till all that was left was the masked fighters and the leader.
"If you want something done," he sighed before pulling out a small sword. "You gotta DO IT YOURSELF!!!"
He rushed towards the trio, only for them to jump out the way, leaving him to impale his blade into the ground.
He looked around to try and see where the three had gone, but to his surprise, they seemed to have disappeared.
"COME ON OUT AND FACE ME COWARDS!"
For a few seconds, nothing happened, until an arrow landed right next to the leader's foot, attached to a rope.
"You missed," he chuckled, as he stamped his foot down with the intent to crush the arrow.
However, the second his foot made contact, the arrow seemed to break apart, releasing tiny little nano-bots that wrapped the rope around his ankle.
He looked at the direction the rope went, only to see it attached to a bent tree tied to the ground by another rope. The "Heron" was standing next to the rope, holding on to one of it's swords.
The old toad realized he fell right into a trap.
"You cheeky little-"
Before he could finish, the "Heron" swung it's sword, cutting the rope. In an instant the tree straightened itself out, causing the old toad to go flying.
The rope detached from his ankle as he stopped mid-air, and then proceeded to fall back to the ground.
Unfortunately for the old toad, he landed face first into a pile of rocks.
The second impact was made, he was out cold.
The masked trio released a couple of terrifying sounds, causing the ladybugs to run away, dropping all the loot the gang had collected.
The three then proceeded to run back into the woods, as the villagers proceeded to collect the loot.
But at the last second, the leader got up and grabbed one of the other toad's bow, and the arrow previously used to knock his club out of his hand. He pulled the string back and let it rip.
The arrow proceeded to go straight into the woods, but the leaves prevented him from seeing if it hit anything.
Just at that moment, a group of frogs quickly jumped on the toad and tied him to the ground.
Wally looked out to the part of the woods the trio used to slip away.
"Thank you"
