hi hello! first off, you should def read the fist part of this story cause this one will probably make zero sense! there are spoilers ahead for that too so click away if you want to go read that first. thank you for all the comments on that previous story I really appreciated it!!! anyways when I first wrote the spider-enid au, I never intended to make a sequel. but so many people liked the concept of venom and wednesday and I really liked this universe so I decided to try and write something. It was difficult at first because 1. I didn't know who the villain could be (especially when there's no wednesday s2 to follow for inspo) 2. writing a somewhat established relationship is hard for me lol 3. the venom character is one i'm not super familiar with so I had to go rewatch the movies to get a sense of what that would be like.so, please enjoy this intro to the next part of this story! apologies for any typos/mischaracterization/anything else weird majority of this was written late at night or on a day where I was hungover lol.title is from ghost in the machine by sza and phoebe bridgers :)
