Falling for you (Mahiro x Momiji) [Legacy Edition]

(This chapter is just a concept chapter, if you all enjoy this little one-shot, I may adapt it into a full story, please note that if I do that, this chapter will likely spoil many events which would happen in the full story. Mahiro had been enjoying her life as a girl, sure, it may have started off as something she didn’t consent to, as part of her sister’s rehabilitation program for her, but she had learned to enjoy it, in fact, it kind of scared her. She had learned to enjoy it so much, that the prospect of returning back to her old life of being a loser Neet with no friends (and worst of all, as a boy) was absolutely horrifying to her.

The idea first came to her in a dream she had, in this dream, it was basically just an average day of her life before drinking the medication that mihari had invented, it didn’t seem like anything that would have upset her, but for whatever reason, it did. She had a panic attack after waking up and was absolutely horrified at the idea of going back to her old life. She told mihari about this, as at the time, she didn’t understand what it was, and mihari had been just as perplexed as she was was. However, as the day went on, and Mahiro had hung out with her loving friends, and enjoyed her girly life, it clicked. The idea of turning back was what scared her, she didn’t want to turn back. If she turned back, she’d lose everything she had now AND be forced to stay in a male body that now felt alien and uncomfortable to her.

She explained these feelings to mihari, who was very sympathetic and did offer a solution. She suggested the idea of making a version of the drug that was permanent, although it came with the side effect of being irreversible. Mahiro took it in a heartbeat though, as she never wanted to go back. However, now that she would be like this forever, her views on many things began to change. She no longer viewed herself as weird for hanging out with girls that were simply her age, and she no longer viewed mihari as her little sister, but now regarded her as her older sister, calling her “onee-Chan” even around the house, she lost any attraction she had to Kaede, but there was one person above all that she began to view very differently.

Momiji had been her best friend pretty much the entire time she had been in this body, constantly helping her through social situations she was uncomfortable with and introducing her to her current friend group. Something about Momiji’s kindness made her feel different now. She stopped just viewing her as a friend, but as a love interest. She began to appreciate Momiji’s kind actions more than she ever had before, and she at first didn’t understand why, but then she realized. She was a lesbian girl and had fallen for Momiji due to their closeness and her kind actions.

At first, Mahiro tried to reject these feelings, under worries that if she had perused them, their friendship could potentially fall apart, which was something she definitely did not want, but in the end, she couldn’t stop her emotions. She knew what she felt, and knew that she couldn’t reject it forever, but she thought nothing would ever come of it. She knew she would never have the guts to come out and tell Momiji directly, and she was sure that Momiji would simply reject her. She thought that there was no possible way that Momiji felt any type of attraction for her, and her kind actions were simply gestures of friendship, but soon enough, this was proven wrong.

Momiji had been crushing on Mahiro for practically as long as the two had known each other, and as the days went on, that only grew. Momiji had hoped that she’d simply get over it eventually but she never did. Her love for Mahiro grew more and more every day until it was practically unbearable for her anymore. She expressed this to her older sister Kaede, who immediately encouraged her to tell Mahiro. Eventually, She built up the courage to tell Mahiro.

They were having another sleepover within their friend group, mainly as a celebration for some holiday, when Momiji asked Mahiro if they could speak privately for a moment. Mahiro had internally panicked, believing that Momiji might have some how found out about her previous life and was worried that she no longer wanted to associate with her, however, Nothing could’ve prepared her for what Momiji actually did. Momiji had attempted to first express her feeling through words, but had continually stuttered and made mistakes, and she realized that words wouldnt work for her, she knew she had to show how she felt through an action instead.

She pulled Mahiro in for a kiss, which Mahiro nearly immediately reciprocated. The two then almost immediately understood their mutual feelings for one another, and thus began a very happy relationship for the two, much to Miyo’s enjoyment.
