As morning broke, Sky couldn't ignore the obvious; the warm, early sunlight kissed his face in a brilliant greeting. This was likely due to the bed's strategic positioning right in front of the window.
The night's events played like a hazy, tumultuous dream in Sky's mind. Fragments of memories flitted in and out, painting a vivid image of the moment Gun attempted to assault him, only to be abruptly interrupted by P'Pai's daring rescue. The overwhelming emotional storm left him struggling to recall anything of last night. Faced with a dark episode he wished never transpired, Sky yearned to erase those torturous memories and push them deep into the recesses of his mind, never to be remembered again.
If only it were as simple as waving a magic wand to make unwanted memories disappear! But unfortunately, human brain isn't quite so cooperative. Life would be far too easy and much less comical if that were the case.
To be honest, his life had never been a walk in the park. It was a mess right from the moment his mother abandoned him and his father for a wealthy American man. It seemed as though his dreadful luck was an unwavering shadow, trailing behind him relentlessly. Each glimmer of happiness he managed to grasp was swiftly followed by a turbulent sea of troubles, dragging him back under the waves.
This time, he yearns for his luck not to play games with him. All he wishes for is P'Pai to remain by his side, loving him for who he truly is. To cherish him like never before and treat him with the respect he deserves. After all, Sky unreservedly offers all of this and more.
His affection for P'Pai had grown immensely, leaving him captivated by every aspect of his partner. His heart swells with joy every time at the sight of P'Pai's infectious grin, and he couldn't help but adore his dramatic tendencies. The way P'Pai genuinely cares for others only made him fall deeper in love, drawing him further into his whirlwind.
Truth be told, P'Pai tries to keep his dark side hidden from Sky. However, Sky is well aware of P'Pai's inner rage; he can sense the quiet fury simmering within him that occasionally erupts when he's pushed too far. He has even witnessed P'Pai losing his temper while on the phone. Yet, each time he meets Sky, P'Pai greets him with a warm smile, reminiscent of a seasoned actor artfully switching masks for the perfect performance.
It makes P'Pai even more dangerous than anyone else. But Sky knows how to read his P'Pai. Read those emotion in his beautiful eyes. Sky can decipher all those emotions that P'Pai tries to hide. But honestly that man is like a open book to his loved ones.
P'Pai believes that Sky didn't realize he always carried a gun with him. Actually, there were times when Prapai accidentally mixed his clothes with Sky's laundry and even unintentionally put his gun in the washing machine. He managed to retrieve it just 10 minutes later, but that was enough time for Sky to take a good look at it.
Sky isn't sure what his P'Pai is up to with that gun, but he isn't one to judge. After all, he has done his fair share of questionable things by the ripe old age of 17. Dipping his toes into the dangerous world of illegal racing? Check. Getting his nipple pierced on a whim to impress his so-called boyfriend? Yep. The cherry on top? Somehow managing to get himself raped by his boyfriend's friends. Real winner, Sky is.
So, What? A little gun is supposed to scare him now? As if he hasn't already wanted to end it all after facing so much humiliation. He overcame that fear a long time ago.
He has faith in his P'Pai. Enough trust to let him get close, even though Sky was aware that Prapai had a gun. After all the ridiculous bullshit they've been through because of Sky, it's only fair that P'Pai gets this much trust from him.
Sky couldn't help but feel a surge of disbelief as he lay next to Prapai. It had been months since they had started dating, but he still couldn't fully fathom that Prapai loved him. It seemed too good to be true.
Looking at Prapai's peaceful face while he slept, Sky couldn't help but be in awe. P'Pai's arm was lovingly draped around him, holding him close, as if shielding him from any harm. It made Sky feel all warm and fuzzy inside, witnessing such a tender moment.
However, doubt still lingered in the depths of Sky's mind. He wondered if this was all just a dream, a fleeting moment of happiness that would soon fade away. But then, as if to prove him wrong, Prapai's fingers lightly tightened around Sky's form, an unconscious gesture of affection.
It was in moments like these that Sky felt the weight of his love for Prapai. He couldn't deny the connection they shared, the way their hearts beat in sync. But he couldn't shake off the fear that it was all too good to be true.
How can Sky not feel anything when. His heart was beating so loudly, when his P'Pai was clutching him like Sky was something precious to him. Sky softly kissed P'Pai's forehead. But guess P'Pai was tired since he didn't even stired.
It was ok though, Sky can sleep in his arms forever.
As the early morning light seeped through the windows, Sky felt an intense urge to relieve himself. The desire grew stronger with each passing moment, making it impossible for him to lie still. He knew he had to find a way to sneak out of bed without disturbing P'Pai's peaceful slumber.
Gently, Sky tried to free himself from P'Pai's embrace. He really needed to go to the washroom, and a nagging thirst was drying his throat. He nudged P'Pai's arm, hoping that P'Pai will loose his arm. But as always P'Pai had a strong hold on him.
But Sky can't wait. He softly moved P'Pai's arm from his middle. Quickly shifting his own pillow, so P'Pai won't get up.
Seeing as Prapai continued to sleep Sky wandered around the room to find the washroom. The room was as big as a small apartment, with luxurious furnishings and exquisite decorations.
Unfamiliar with his surroundings, Sky's eyes darted around the room in search of a sign that would lead him to the bathroom. His bladder screamed for relief, urging him to hurry. And then, as if guided by some unseen force, Sky's gaze fell upon a door slightly ajar.
With a quickening pace, Sky approached the door and pushed it open. The bathroom was vast as he remembered from last night, resembling a small room, complete with elegant marble countertops, a luxurious bathtub, and an inviting shower stall. It was a sanctuary of comfort and relaxation.
Sky was indescribable as he hurriedly made his way towards the toilet. The urgency of his bodily need consumed him, and he surrendered to the pleasure of release.
With a somber sigh, Sky finished his business and made his way to the sink, eager to wash away the weariness of yesterday.
As he stood in front of the mirror, he couldn't help but be captivated by mirror design. The mirror in front of him was beautiful. Simple but very beautiful.
But the thing caught his eye was the reflection staring back at him. His exhausted eyes met his reflection, revealing the toll that time had taken. Dark circles nestled underneath, evidence of countless nights spent pouring over his work. His unruly hair seemed determined to defy gravity, each strand having a mind of its own. And his face, it looked so messed up. The only thing fresh he had was his clothes, which clearly belonged to P'Pai.
Sky quickly washed his face and prepared to leave the bathroom. But as he turned to close the door behind him, something caught his eye—a small photograph, tucked away in a corner of the mirror. Curiosity piqued, he reached for it and examined the image.
It was a picture of P'Pai, smiling radiantly. He looked quite young in there maybe 17 or 16. Smile felt a small smile twitch in him.
With a whisper of longing, Sky placed the photograph back in its original position and closed the door to the bathroom. Since he was thirsty enough to chug down a whole Jug. But unfortunately for Sky when he got out from bathroom, he found the jug in the bedside table was empty.
He even went to the bar thinking if it has any water bottle in there. But it was useless. There were only rows and rows of expensive looking drinks that Sky doesn't even dare to guess the price.
There was a small fridge too, but all it had some cola and chocolates. Seriously was this fridge for some little child or what.
Doesn't P'Pai have anything useful for once, like his whole room is full of junk. What kind of fool doesn't store any kind of water bottle inside his fridge. Well appearantly it's Sky's fool who doesn't.
Sky moved with a sigh. He would've gone to sleep but he was too thirsty for it. Well he doesn't even know where he could find a kitchen inside these huge building. Also he remembers when he came last night, he didn't see anyone in this floor.
But Sky was really thirsty, and with no other options available, he decided to venture to the front door from where they had entered the night before. As he turned the doorknob with caution, the door swung open silently, revealing a seemingly endless corridor bathed in a steady glow of overhead lights.
Relieved to find the lights still on, Sky hesitated for a moment, taking in the eerie stillness that surrounded him. Nobody seemed to be in sight. His eyes darted towards the elevator on his right, a flicker of hope igniting within him. Without a second thought, he stepped inside, the metallic doors opening with a whisper.
Inside the elevator, confusion set in. Sky had no idea where to find the kitchen. The only option available to him was the ground floor button. Perhaps there he would be able to find someone who could point him in the right direction.
P'Pai's apartment or room was at 19th floor. Honestly, when the door opened at floor 10 with a ping, Sky was not surprised to see a man clad in black. In this whole ass building it didn't feel uncommon to see security guards stationed outside, ensuring everything ran smoothly. But as Sky took a closer look, something about this man caught their attention.
He had thin, round spectacles perched on the bridge of his nose, giving him an astute and intellectual appearance. His suit, if Sky looked closer, was impeccably ironed, and the way he carried himself exuded an air of confidence. But what intrigued Sky the most was the badge sitting on the right side of his suit. And then it hit him - Sky remembered seeing the same insignia engraved on one of P'Pai's rings.
But anyone can't fault Sky for being nervous. No one knew him here. What if they think that he is some kind of thief or something. The thought of being judged by strangers made his palm sweat.
Sky felt his cheeks flush with embarrassment, convinced that this stranger had formed a negative opinion of him. But to his utter shock, instead of saying something to him, the man bowed a full 90 degrees to him. "Khun Sky."
What… Literally what? Sky didn't know what to say, so he also slightly bowed and nodded to the man, trying to reciprocate the gesture.
His mind was racing, trying to make sense of this unexpected interaction. Who was this man and why was he treating him with such reverence? But how tf he knows his name.
"Sorry, Khun, for asking, but are you going somewhere?" the man asked, his voice filled with curiosity, as he entered the elevator and pressed the close button.
Sky hesitated for a moment, uncertain of how to respond. "Umm yes, Can Khun please tell me where can I find the kitchen?"
"Khun Sky doesn't need to call me Khun. My name is Arm. I am a bodyguard here. Khun can just call me by my name."
The bodyguard part doesn't surprise Sky. He guesses that much since last night he saw the other bodyguards. But the man looked older than him, wait no he is definitely older, how can Sky call him by his name?
Sky quickly said," No, no how can I call you by your name? Khun Arm looks older than me."
The man just laughed. "Thank you for that Khun Sky. If you don't have any problem you can call me P'Arm. And to answer your question, of course I can guide you to the kitchen."
"Thank you P'Arm. But please don't call me Khun Sky." To tell the truth Sky was not comfortable with anyone calling him by Khun. It sounded utterly ridiculous to call some uni boy by Khun.
P'Arm must have seen how uncomfortable Sky was. "I can't really do that. But if its alright with you I can call you nong Sky. But let me tell you, our young master might get really annoyed by it." Not sure but last line sounded like teasing to him.
Wait. Young master? Does he mean P'Pai?
Well dumb Sky. Of course it would be P'Pai. Since it was his house and all. Although Sky didn't get to say anything since the elevator pinged again signaling they reached the ground floor.
The door opened and both of them stepped outside. The entrance, just as grand as Sky remembered, now appeared even more impressive under the morning sun.
To the right side, there was a magnificent staircase, which seemed to be crafted from pure, glistening marble. Its pristine surface shimmered. However, the polished steps, while visually stunning, posed a potential hazard. A single misstep could result in shattered bones. Not that Sky planned on going there.
Intrigued, Sky turned his gaze to the left, where a seemingly endless hallway stretched before him.
"This way nong. The kitchen is a little further away, so you may have to walk a little." P'Arm says with a gentle tone. He has a big Ipad in his hand which sky failed to notice till now.
"No problem P'Arm, I can walk." Soon they fall into steps, Sky walking beside him.
As they turned left, Sky couldn't resist scanning his surroundings. The inside of the place was truly remarkable. If the entrance hadn't already given him a glimpse of the impressive design, the hallway certainly did. The meticulously crafted lighting fixtures showcased the skillful work of the architects. Despite feeling a bit anxious up until this point, Sky's architectural instincts couldn't help but fill him with excitement.
Sky indulged a bit more. P'Arm seems to be engrossed in his Ipad.
But something caught his eye as he walked down the hallway. Amongst the mundane expensive paintings and photographs, there was a huge picture hanging on the right side. It stood out like a beacon, demanding attention.
As he approached the enormous frame, he noticed two other pictures opposite each other. It was a scene frozen in time, capturing the perfect screen.
A man sat on what appeared to be an designed chair. His focus was somewhat intense, as he delicately fixed something for the other man standing beside him. The other man, dressed in a suit that bespoke power and authority, but still his eyes were smiling.
Both of them are handsome, anyone can tell that. But the hidden happiness that sparkled it could probably blind anyone. But what caught Sky's eyes were not those men. It was the picture beside it.
The picture of a cute little boy who seemed to be covered in mud. With his mischievous grin and chubby cheeks that resembled the endearing chipmunks. The little boy had probably ran covered in a thick layer of mud from head to toe.His misadventure might have had taken an unexpected turn, as what it seemed like some of the mud had found its way into his mouth, giving him the appearance of having eaten delicious soil. That could be the only reason why the man chasing him looked worried. It was the same reason who was sitting in the chair.
Strangely enough the naughty boy looked like his P'Pai. Just by looked at the picture a smile came to Sky's lips, just like a fool. Sky couldn't help but think, no matter how old his P'Pai never fails to bring a smile on Sky's lips.
"That's our young master if nong Sky is wondering." Skocked, Ksy quickly turned around to see P'Arm standing behind him with a smile.
Honestly stupid Sky, standing in the middle while smiling like a fool. P'Arm must be irritated by now. That man looked as if he has tons of work to do.
" Sorry Phi, I was just looking at this picture." embarrassed Sky apologized quickly.
"No no it's ok. Nong Sky doesn't need to apologize. Frankly speaking it appears that nong Sky likes our young master very much, since you were smiling at his picture without even knowing who it is."
Now sky is really embarrassed. He just wishes that the ground will open and shallow him.
" I…. Ah… He just looked really cute in there. And mischievous too" Sky shuttered out lamely. That made P'Arm give a full blown laugh.
"Well nong Sky is correct in both. Young master was really cute back then and probably the naughtiest child ever."
Sky's mind raced with questions, but his voice faltered as he finally managed to speak.
"P' Arm must be working here for a long time then," Sky said, his voice filled with curiosity.
P'Arm chuckled softly. "Well, you can say that. Although, I have been a bodyguard for this family even before our young master was born."
Sky's eyes widened in surprise. He had known P' Arm as a bodyguard, but he had no idea that Arm had been with the family for so long. "That's a long time," Sky murmured, his voice filled with awe.
Arm nodded, his gaze drifting off into the distance. "Yes, it is. By the way, isn't it Nong Sky wondering, who those two people were?"
Sky blushed slightly. "Oh, I didn't want to intrude," he stammered.
Arm laughed heartily, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Haha, well you are not. Those are my employees." He paused for a moment, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "As you can guess, my young master's parents. The one that's sitting is Porsche Kittisawat. Young master's dad. And the one standing beside him is the head of this family,Khun Anakinn Threerapanyakun. young masters pa"
"Well, it's no wonder then," Sky finally managed to say, his voice tinged with a mix of surprise. They were both handsome like P'pai. Sky has already guessed that.
Because weirdly enough the one standing and smiling looked a lot like P'Pai. Minus his P'Pai's chubby cheeks.
" Nong Sky doesn't seem to be surprised. Did Nong knew them before?"
" Oh no no. Just the man standing looks really like P'Pai. Also I don't know why they seem to be very familiar."
"Nong Sky must have seen them on news or on Tv."
But at the mention of TV, something inside Sky's heart started to beat wildly. What did P' Arm mean by "on TV"? Was P'Pai's family famous? The questions flooded his mind, leaving him feeling uneasy. Although he had guessed that the family was wealthy, he didn't fully comprehend the magnitude of what he was about to face.
Unable to contain his curiosity any longer, Sky mustered up the courage to ask, "Umm, if P' Arm doesn't mind, can you please tell me more about them? I don't really watch TV and stuff, other than manga and anime."
"Nong Sky must be really hardworking if he doesn't watch TV." P'Arm replied with a smile. Sky blushed. He didn't mean to imply that.
"It's not that P'Arm. I am in University now, studying architecture. It's quite hectic for us architecture students. With all the model making, drawing, assingassingments, group activity and quizzes, we don't really have enough time to watch TV and stuff. Its hard enough for us friends to hang out sometimes. "Sky clarified.
P'Arm looked surprised at that. " Oh nong Sky is in architecture? Which university do you go to? Our Khun Venice also graduated in architecture. In fact this building and behind mansion is also redesigned by Khun Venice. "
" Khun Venice?" Sky inquired. Well it must be P'Pai relative or someone important if they are close enough that the whole family house was readjusted by a newly graduated student.
" Oh nong Sky doesn't know him? I thought our young master already introduced him to you. Even though they are cousins but they are more like brothers and best friends. They have been really inseparable since childhood."
Well P'Pai certainly didn't. He wonders why. Was P'Pai ashamed of Sky to introduced him to his relative? No no, Sky. No negative thoughts. Stop it. P'Pai loves you.
" I guess P'Pai forgot. Things has been a real mess lately. "Sky smile politely to P'Arm. Trying not to make his insecurities visible.
" Oh no matter, you might get to meet him today, since mong Sky will have breakfast with young master's parents today." P'Arm replied to him, beaming with a smile.
But Sky's mind clouded with fear and uncertainties. Breakfast with P'Pai's parents. It was 7 am now. Breakfast should be at 8 or 9 right? Or does wealthy people eat late?
" Oh silly me I totally forgot. You wanted to go to the kitchen right? Let's hurry." P'Arm told him as he swiped at something in his Ipad and started walking again. With questions in his mind Sky also followed behind.
***
After all twist and turns they finally reached the kitchen. There was even a pool while they were passing.
The kitchen was as grand as the house. It was probably a heaven for the chefs and kitchen staff. But strangely enough there was no one.
P'Arm must be thinking the same and he frowned and looked around. "Umm Sky can you wait here please? Let me see where all the staffs are. Usually kitchen would be bustling at this time. Please help yourself with what you want, let me go and check what's up."
Sky was left alone in the kitchen, he is very thirsty but not that I polite that he would go rummaging around to someone else's kitchen even if he had gotten the green light. Well he could only wait for P'Arm.
"Hey beautiful," –a sudden voice suddenly startled him as he quickly turned around, as he locked eyes with the boy standing before him. The boy has to be around seventeen or eighteen years old, dressed head to toe in leather. With his sharp jaws, beautiful eyes, and a captivating smile on his lips, he oozed an undeniable charm.
"Swadee Khap," Sky waied. Even if he doesn't know him he needs to be polite since he was still in P'Pai's house.
"What can I do for you?" he managed to stammer, somewhat awkward by the unexpected encounter.
The boy chuckled softly, his smile widening. "I was just passing by and couldn't help but notice a beautiful angle standing in the kitchen looking very lost. Are you searching for something?"
He paused, his eyes gazing into the distance, lost in thought. Then, with a mischievous glint in his eyes, he added, "Or perhaps someone?"
Wtf, who even is he? Just coming here and straight up flirting? Is this even flirting. Enough. Sky's already had enough trouble, he doesn't wish to make that list big.
"I'm not sure what you mean," he replied cautiously. "Sorry, but I don't think I know you Khun. If you would excuse me." Sky quickly made an attempt to sidestep him.But the boy didn't let him.
"Aiaa.. what's the rush?" The boy's voice echoed through Sky's ears, as he standing close to him, not letting Sky escape. He stopped abruptly to face the stranger. The boy still held a mischievous glint in his eyes, as if he held a secret that would pique Sky's curiosity. And that mischievous glint was so close to his P'Pai, but there was something cruel in those words, like the way the boy said it.
"Oh, wait, is there a rush?" The boy continued, a sly smile playing at the corners of his lips. Sky furrowed his brow, unsure of how to respond.
"Maybe... going back to P'Pai's arm?" The man's words hung in the air, sending a shiver down Sky's spine. How did this boy know about P'Pai? Sky's mind raced, desperately trying to connect the dots.
The boy must have guessed the question by looking at Sky's face.
"Aww,what's the matter, beautiful. Why the shocked face? Wondering how I know?" the boy was smiling but it was not the gentle one that the boy hit him with. Something about it made him feel disgusted. "Well, you certainly look like someone who would warm this residence, play boy's bed. You are not the only one. Look at me, I am staying here looking for my call,so I can jump into P'Pai's bed and suck that man's dick dry." – The boy said as if he was not telling him that he was basically a live in whore in this house.
WTF is this lunatic saying. There's no way his P'Pai would do that.
Sky's heart pounded in his chest as doubt started to creep in. Could it be possible? Could P'Pai, the person he trusted with his whole being, have committed such a betrayal? The thought pierced through his heart like a knife, and he felt his world shatter into a million pieces.
No way in hell Sky would be dealing with this again. No. No, P'Pai is not like that. He promised. He is not like that.
Sky's mind raced as he tried to process the absurd accusation. The room began to feel suffocating, and his breaths came in short gasps as he started to remember P'Guns word. Nobody will love him. He is damaged. He is good as as to be used. Not to beloved. He looked at the boy, who stood before him with a smug grin on his face. But it was his P'Pai, who this boy is talking bullshit about.
"Oh, really?" Sky's voice trembled with anger. "And what proof do you have? Huh? Slandering him like that. Honestly, you are the only one who looks like would jump at any man's bed. And stop spreading lies. P'Pai was with me last night and-"
The boy's laughter cut him off, sending chills down Sky's spine. The mocking sound echoed in the room, intensifying the tension that hung heavy in the air. Sky's eyes narrowed, determined not to let this stranger's words break him.
"Your loyalty is admirable, Sky," the boy sneered. "But…. is it loyalty or your bed skills that you are so proud of huh? Or is it P'Pai's money? Well I am here as here as well. Or do you want to have the whole deal to yourself? Say Sky, how about we share 50/50? Fuck the rich boy and jump to other huh?" the boy just said those words as if it's the most normal thing in the world. And money? What even is he saying.
Sky had enough. He is not gonna stay here and here this person's fucked up shitty things but of course the boy wasn't finished yes as he took Sky's silent as approval to continue his ridiculous monologue.
"What happened? You look pale. You know I once saw your pic in P'Pai's phone. You looked so sweet sleeping like that. But then I thought wait…. Is this the bitch that P'Pai has been smitten with? Well now that I am seeing you upfront no wonder P'Pai wants to ravish you. You know…. "
His words were cut off when suddenly a hand twisted the boy's ears, causing him to wince in pain.
" WHO THE FUCK…. " the boy started to roar but seemed like his initial anger dissolved into shock as he saw the person responsible.
It was P'Payu.
"P'Ven?" the boy stammered, his eyes widening with surprise.
"Still causing problems?" P'Payu scolded, disappointment etched on his face. "You just came back from Canada, by causing troubles there, and now that you're here, you're up to causing a new drama again. When will you learn?"
Sky stood there too shocked to say something. P'Ven? This person is clearly P'Payu. What in the hell is happening. Sky was getting light headed now. He wants to go to the room he came from. Snuggle into P'Pai's arms and forget all this. But P'Payu was not finsihed.
"Have you got no shame Aiyaret? Calling yourself your brothers botty call? Seriously sometime I don't understand what even goes on in your head" P'Payu was still scolding the boy….Aiyaret. That's what's his name is the. And he is brother….
Wait….did he say brother? Brother? Aiyaret? The same one that P'Pai always is troubled about? The same one that P'Pai came to him complaining about? The fucking same youngest brother that his P'Pai loves and spoils so much?
Sky stood there, his mind spinning with a whirlwind of words and conversations. His brain felt like it was on the verge of overload, struggling to process the influx of new revelations. But what bothered him the most was the overwhelming sensation of thirst that seemed to be creeping up on him, making his throat parched and his lips dry.
As he tried to gather his thoughts and take a deep breath, a wave of dizziness washed over him. His vision blurred, making it even harder to focus. Sky desperately reached out to steady himself, but his body seemed to betray him. It felt as if the ground beneath him was giving way, and suddenly, he found himself falling.
The sounds around him intensified, becoming a cacophony of voices and indistinct chatter.
In the midst of the chaos, a faint yet familiar voice pierced through the clamor. "Sky!" it called, the urgency evident. It was P'Payu, but before Sky could respond or even comprehend what was happening, darkness enveloped him, and his consciousness slipped away.
