Alone within the stars, the moon watches the world as it waits for the sea to be able to reach her again. The moon had responsibilities and had to go away, leaving the sea behind. Of course, the sea was lonely again. But, the moon gave hope to the sea that she will return. The sea also had responsibilities, to protect her home.
As time went by, the moonâs responsibilities grew larger and larger, making the moon impatient to visit the sea. If the moon rushed her work, it would cause an imbalance to the world. The moon must be patient to see the sea if she truly wants to return to her.
When the moon had finished her work, she was excited to visit the sea. As she went down to visit the sea, she was met by a gloomy aura. So gloomy that the moon was worried for the sea. The moon explored the seaâs home in search of her.
The moon was confused, the sea would've greeted her by now. Maybe, the sea had other things to do, the moon thought. The moon kept exploring to find her. When the moon found the sea, she quickly went up to the sea and in horrorâŠ
The sea had turned frozen again.

..
âYou were obviously lonely,â Moonlight said as she was twirling her hair around, reminded by the times where Sea Fairy had braided her hair. She sighed.
âAnd yet, for the sake of protecting your home, you decided to stretch your loneliness to the point where it reached the stars.â Moonlight paused for a moment, she raised her head to watch the stars lit up the light.
Moonlight slightly giggled before it turned into a frown again, âI remember that you were very fond of stars, it got to the point where you ignored me because you were so fascinated in them. I didnât understand why you were so fond of them. I live within the stars, of course I wouldnât understand.â
The moon didnât have the willpower to look at the frozen statue, in fear that she might remember the times that she had spent with the sea. It seems like the memories of the moon have been haunting her.
âTell me this, why was the sea that used to glow with radiance so gloomy now? Why now?â Moonlight asked as if the statue would reply. âMaybe, itâs because youâre gone. Thereâs no one here to protect what you love.â The cookie concluded.
âI.. miss you, Sea Fairy,â A tear dropped, âI really, really miss you.â The moon said as she couldnât hold back her tears.
