Rescue me

T.K. P.O.V 

I hate being grounded...it's so boring. I can't concentrate and stopped studying. I'm watching tv right now. I was texting with Taylor. She said that Buck finally fell asleep but still isn't talking. I sigh. I get a FaceTime call from Carlos. My dad gave me my phone back so I can call if I need anything

T.K: Hey babe 

Carlos: Hey *smiles* what are you doing? Weren't you supposed to study *laughs* 

T.K: gosh please stop. I cannot concentrate. I'm bored. Can't you come over? 

Carlos: i thought you're grounded? 

T.K: i am but my dad is at work. Please come over. I don't want to spend the night alone. Just park your car a few streets away and come here. Before my dad comes back we're already at school. Please

Carlos: okay give me 30minutes. 

T.K: yay. *smiles* uhhh bring dinner with you please. I'm starving 

Carlos: Mexican? *laughs* 

T.K: sounds great. Love you 

Carlos: love you too *laughs and hangs up* 

I clean up the mess I made. After 30 minutes Carlos arrives. I give him a long kiss and quickly close the door. I grab the food and put it on two plates and we eat together. After that we lay down on the couch. I put my head into his lap and he crawls my back. I love that. 

T.K: we could do this every night when my dads gone 

Carlos: sure *laughs* but if your dad finds out it's your fault *laughs* 

T.K: of course it is *grins and kisses him* lets go to bed. It's late 

We change and brush our teeth before we go to bed. The next morning we hurry to get out of the house before my dad comes back. I drive with Carlos to his car and we drive to school. 

Carlos: I forgot something at your place 

T.K: I'll just say that you forgot it at my place before I was grounded 

Carlos: okay *sits down* 

We wait for the teacher. When he comes buck still isn't here. I look over to Carlos. He just shruggs his shoulders. 

Teacher: okay so on Friday we write an important test. You all better pass it. *looks at T.K* 

T.K: why are you looking at me? I wasn't the only one who failed the last test. 

Teacher: *sighs* I talked to your math teacher. 

T.K: can we talk about it in private after the lesson? 

Teacher: sure 

I sigh and start drawing something on my paper. After the lesson I go to the front. 

Teacher: T.K I talked to your math teacher. You failed the test.

T.K: Tell me something new. *sighs* 

Teacher: T.K these are very important tests. You need to pass it. At least with a D. So you better study for this English test. 

T.K: thanks but I know myself what I have to do *smiles annoyed* can I go now? 

Teacher: if you fail this test I need to talk to your dad. 

T.K: i won't fail this test. So can I go? 

Teacher: tell your friend Evan that he needs to be there on Friday. I don't know where he is today but he should be here Friday. 

T.K: i will. Bye. I have history class now 

He just nods and I leave the room. I hate this teacher. I text buck but he's not responding. What's going on? I'm getting worried. Should I text Taylor? No she would have texted me if she wants. 

The rest of the day goes by very slowly. Then I have training. After I showered I give Carlos a long kiss before I get into the car and drive home. I don't say Hello to my dad and just go to my room and start to study. I'm not bad in English. It's okay. I study the whole evening until it's almost 11pm. 

The week goes by fast. I studied almost every evening. Only on Wednesday I didn't study because Carlos was at my place. Buck wasn't at school the whole week. He read my message about the test but didn't respond. When I arrive at school I see Eddie. I'm surprised.

T.K: Hey what are you doing here? 

Eddie: wanted to say goodbye. I need to leave early *sighs* I'll fly back to Afghanistan tomorrow morning. So first of all I fly back to Chicago today and then tomorrow to Afghanistan. I already said bye to Carlos. You know where buck is? 

T.K: no. Haven't heard from him since Monday. Since Nick was here 

Eddie: Nick was here?? At school? 

T.K: yeah I don't know why. He crashed into my car. *sighs* it's not fixed yet. Okay Eddie take care of yourself *hugs him tight* I'll miss you. 

Eddie: miss you too and I will. I'll text as soon as possible. 

T.K: sure *smiles* when will you come back? 

Eddie: hopefully on Christmas. So in 2 months hopefully 

T.K: yeah hopefully. *hugs him again* bye Eddie 

Eddie: bye T.K *smiles softly before he leaves* 

I quickly go inside because I'm late. The English lesson is at 11am. Buck is not here yet. A few minutes before the lessons starts he comes inside the classroom and sits down next to me. 

T.K: Hey *smiles softly* 

Carlos: you okay? 

He just nods and looks at the teacher. I sigh. I'm worried. The teacher gives us the papers and we start to write. Woah this test is harder than I thought. I give my best. After 60minutes the time is over. We all go outside for our break. 

T.K: you don't come with us? *looks at Buck* 

Buck: *Shakes his head* 

Carlos: Buck please talk to us. We are really worried. 

Buck: *sighs* 

Carlos: we also need you at the Game tonight. You are our best quarterback. 

Buck: *shruggs his shoulders and leaves* 

T.K: okay should we go after him? 

Carlos: no. Leave him. We will talk to us if he wants to. Just leave him. 

T.K: but 

Carlos: no *sighs* 

T.K: I'm sorry I can't watch your game tonight 

Carlos: it's okay. Next time. Hopefully you passed the test. 

T.K: at least I was writing something...Buck just stared at his paper *sighs* I want to help him Carlos. 

Carlos: me too but I don't know how. Just give him time. 

I sigh and we go back inside. When I drive home I'm thinking. I don't really pay attention. I forgot to put my seatbelt on. My light is green. It is definetly Green. Suddenly someone crashes into my driver side. I try to hit the breaks and the car behind me crashes into my car and I hit my head pretty bad at my wheel. I feel dizzy. Something warm is running over my face. Probably blood...I hear sirens and someone screaming a familiar name.
