Rescue me

T.K. P.O.V 

I didn't sleep the whole night. I was sitting down here at the lake and just stared at the water. I started to pack the pick-up at 5am. I want to drive home as soon as possible. I go back to the lake. Everyone is still asleep and we just need to put the tents on the pick-up. I throw some rocks into the lake. 

Eddie: morning *sits down next to him* you're already awake? 

T.K: I didn't sleep...everything is cleaned up. We just need to put the tents together and put them into the pick-up. 

Eddie: wow thank you *smiles softly* why didn't you sleep? 

T.K: I don't want to talk about it...I just want to go home...

Eddie: Buck and Carlos are still asleep but I could wake them up. 

T.K: no it's fine... *sighs* I'll just sit here until they are awake...do we have some beer left? 

Eddie: yeah but you will not drink it. Come on what's wrong? Talk to me...

T.K: okay *sighs* i just need to *grabs a cigarette* 

Eddie: give it to me. 

T.K: just one Eddie please 

Eddie: give it to me please. *looks at him worried* 

T.K: fine *gives Eddie the cigarettes* I...I have some thoughts...thoughts about my sexuality...

Eddie: so what's the matter? There's nothing wrong with being gay or bisexual. 

T.K: it's just *sighs* I had some thoughts about Carlos...I feel like I like him more than just as a friend...yesterday I... 

Eddie: you kissed him? 

T.K: yeah *wipes away a tear* I think I ruined everything...he's mad at me and...and...gosh 

Eddie: *puts an arm around him* it's okay. Just give him some time okay? T.K, we all will be your friends no matter which sexuality you are having. It doesn't matter 

T.K: thank you Eddie *smiles softly* 

Eddie: you're welcome *smiles* now come on. We will wake the boys up and start our way home. 

We get up and go back to our tents. Buck is not amused about it. He's pissed that Eddie woke him up because I want to go home. Carlos is already awake. He just didn't want to get up. 

Carlos: Eddie do you have anything against the headache? My head feels like it's exploding.

Eddie: sure *laughs and hands him some pills* 

Carlos: thank you. 

We quickly put the tents on the pick-up and Start our way home. Buck is looking at me like he wants to kill me any minute, he's mad because of the drugs and that he wasn't able to sleep longer. I quickly put my headphones in and listen to music. Eddie drops me out first. 

T.K: thank you *smiles softly* 

Eddie: no problem. Don't mind buck, you know he's not a morning person *grins* 

T.K: Carlos didn't even look at me...

Eddie: it's going to be okay. If you need anything text or call me *smiles* 

T.K: i will thank you. 

I say goodbye and go inside. My dad is at work. I plug my phone in and search for jacks chat. I text him and ask if he has some new stuff for me. He calls me. 

Jack: what Kind of stuff do you want? *laughs* pills? Joints? Cigarettes? 

T.K: pills and joints would be great. 

Jack: how much do you need? 

T.K: I don't know. Give me something for 50 bucks. 

Jack: okay. You're coming to the party today? 

T.K: sure. What time does it start? 

Jack: 8pm. See ya. I'll bring your stuff. 

I hang up and lay down a little bit. I sleep the whole day. In the evening I get ready for the party. When I arrive a lot of people are already there. I search for Jack. He hands me my stuff and we celebrate. 

In the early morning I Walk home. Drunk and high. I'm not walking i'm stumbling. I go to bed. 

I continue this every day of my last week of summer break. Party until the early morning, sleeping until the early evening and then continue again. Today is the big party. Buck and Carlos didn't talk to me since our camping trip...Eddie is the only one who's writing with me. He was gone this week because his parents wanted to drive to San Francisco with him. I am getting ready for the party right now.

Owen: T.K? 

T.K: yeah dad? 

Owen: what's this? *holds up a package of cigarettes* 

T.K: they are not mine

Owen: then why are they in your bag? *looks at him angry* 

T.K: okay they are mine but I only smoked one.I don't like the taste of it 

Owen: then it's okay for you if I throw it away? 

T.K: Uhm yeah sure *smiles nervously* 

Owen: don't be back too Late tonight. You have school tomorrow. *leave the room* 

I quickly get the package out of the bin. My joints are in this package. I need to be more careful. This was close. I quickly take a pill and put the package into my jacket. Lets go and get the party started. I walk through the huge house. 

Taylor: *bumps into him* oh I'm sorry. 

T.K: it's fine *smiles* 

Taylor: you're T.K right? 

T.K: yeah, Taylor? 

Taylor: yes *laughs* do you know where Buck is? 

T.K: no sorry. We haven't talked for a week now.

Taylor: I thought you are best friends? 

T.K: yeah but we had a fight. Nothing serious. *smiles softly* 

Taylor: oh okay. Oh there he is *smiles* it was nice to meet you. 

I look over to the group of three people. Buck, Carlos and Eddie. Carlos looks at me and quickly goes to the kitchen. Buck gives Taylor a long kiss and walks over to me.

Buck: Hey can we talk for a minute? I know this isn't the best place but I think we should talk. 

T.K: Uhm sure *takes his beer and follows buck* 

Buck: I'm sorry I freaked out that day. I was drunk and shocked and to be honest, I'm worried. Can you forgive me? 

T.K: sure *smiles* 

Buck: so are you excited for the new year? 

T.K: kind of *laughs* but not really. I mean I already did this year. Hopefully I can do better this time. 

Buck: I can help you if you want *smiles* 

T.K: maybe *laughs* so is this a real thing now? You and Taylor? 

Buck:to be honest, I have no idea *laughs* we will see. So you want to stay at my house tonight? Eddie and Carlos are staying too. 

T.K: i don't know if this is a good idea *sighs* 

Buck: come on. Please 

T.K: okay okay *laughs* now lets enjoy this last evening before school starts *laughs* 

It's getting very late. We all are drunk and I'm high. We are having fun. 

Eddie: come on you two. You're  acting like two little kids. Talk already. 

T.K: it's fine if he doesn't want to talk. I will not push him into something. 

Buck: Carlos remember what you told me this evening? 

Carlos: stop with it Buck. 

Eddie: buck if he doesn't want to do it, then it's fine.

T.K: I'll grab another drink. You want one too? 

They all Shake their heads and I go outside to the pool. I grab another beer. Someone grabs my hand and I turn around and look into Carlos Brown eyes.
