Well Needed Vacation
The day after Halloween, Thor had to go back to Asgard for a week to attend to his duties as a prince. They all bid him farewell as the Bifrost enveloped him. They all went back inside the tower and started to plan a trip with Loki during the week Thor was gone.
After being cooped up for so long, Loki was starting to get a bit claustrophobic.
"How about going to Europe?" Steve suggested.
"Nah, How 'bout Miami? Or better, Monte Carlo!" Stark interrupted.
"First, we are not taking him to Monte Carlo." She held up her hand to cut off Tony's protest when he opened his mouth. Second, How about we ask Loki what HE wants to do. It is his vacation we are planning!" Nat reasoned.
Everyone turned to Loki with expectant looks on their faces. He pondered for a minute before saying, "How about Universal Studios? I heard they have a Harry Potter section and I would greatly enjoy seeing it!"
The whole group loved the idea and Tony made all the calls to get them into the park. The group, including Pepper who had taken a couple of vacation days to come on the trip, started packing their things to leave tomorrow.
Pepper ended up getting some extra clothes for Loki, who didn't have many that wouldn't stand out like a sore thumb.
The next day they all got on Tony's private plane and landed in Orlando. The got to the Hard Rock Hotel and signed in.
"Name please." Said the woman at the desk, not looking up from the computer.
"Tony Stark."
She immediately looked up and a shocked expression was on her face.
"I'm so sorry, Mr. Stark, sir!" You have a 4-room Deluxe room package. Your rooms are on the eighth floor. Enjoy Your stay!" She handed him 7 room keys, one for each person.
They took the elevator up to the eighth floor and found their rooms. The pairing for the rooms was Nat and Pepper, Tony and Cap, Bruce got the single room, and Clint and Loki. They all headed to their rooms. Clint and Loki stepped into the room and it was so cool! They had a couch and a tv. There were two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with two twin beds. They had an awesome view of Orlando outside and a large bathroom. Clint took the queen and Loki took the two twin beds. They got settled in and went to bed early to get a good night's rest before the awesome day tomorrow.

They got up at about 7:00 so they could get to the parks by 8:00. They all had a quick breakfast before donning their house cloaks and heading to the entrance of the parks. They went on a water taxi to get to the park. On the water taxi, which they got all to themselves, Tony stood next to Loki and said," I have a couple of surprises for you!"
"Oh no."
"They're good ones!"
Loki eyed him curiously as he pulled out a little box from Bruce's tote bag. He opened it and saw a brand new StarkPhone with green borders. He was shocked, to say the least. Tony said, "I felt bad for you only having an old iPhone of mine, so I made you a new one, and guess what... It has unlimited songs!" Loki stared at him for a minute, shocked before Tony continued." Don't forget, I said a COUPLE of surprises. Close your eyes and put your hands out. Loki did as he said and instead of Tony placing something in his hand, he opened his eyes to find the magic-blocking bracelets were unlocked and in Tony's hands.
"I thought if we were going to Harry Potter world, it might be fun for you to be able to use real magic! Nothing too out of the ordinary though. I mean of course we might have to put them back on as soon as the trip ends depending upon how Fury feels, but I----" He was cut off when Loki leaped up to hug him.
"Thank you," Loki whispered.
"No prob."
The group got off the ferry and immediately went to Diagon Alley. They were surprised at how much it looked like the movie. They all got their wands at Ollivander's and looked around Diagon Alley. The group all went into the Joke shop and adopted pygmy puffs, and named them whatever their roommates' name for the trip was. Bruce named his Hulk. They all went on the Gringotts ride which was a lot of fun and did many other activities there that day. For dinner, they went to platform 9 3/4 to get to Hogsmeade. Loki pulled a prank where he actually made the entrance turn to bricks and all of the other families there were able to walk through it, but when Tony tried he couldn't. They all laughed and called him "Muggle" before Loki diminished the spell. They went to see the fireworks show later that evening and stocked up on Honeydukes candy before heading to their rooms for the evening.

The next day they decided to take a break from Harry Potter and went to Jurassic Park and Seuss Landing for the first part of the day. After Lunch at Mythos Restaurant, The Avengers all whispered to one another. When they stopped, Loki was raising an eyebrow at them.
Clint laughed and said to him, "I think you'll get a kick out of where we are going next...
Loki followed the group to the entrance of Islands of Adventure and continued a little further until he saw a very familiar green face on a sign for a very large roller coaster. Loki looked at the group and said, "You guys are such narcissists."
They arrived at the entrance to Marvel Super Hero Island.
"Though I must ask, what is Marvel?" Loki intrigued
"It is a company that makes comic books and movies about us."
This was going to be interesting.
They arrived in the park and everyone went on the Hulk Roller Coaster except for Loki and Bruce, both not wanting an ACTUAL appearance by their green friend. They continued on after the coaster when Tony got a "brilliant" idea.
"Loki, you can cast good illusions right?"
"Of course I can!" Loki said.
"Could you cast an illusion on us so we are all in our uniforms?"
"I could also just summon your uniforms if that would be easier."
"Great!" Tony exclaimed.
"What are you playing at Stark?" Nat said suspiciously.
"Let's get in our uniforms and find our face characters and take pictures with them and maybe some of the kids afterward!"
Loki got a little worried, "What about me? Nobody knows I'm on earth except for you guys and Fury."
"You know, he has a point, Tony," Pepper added.
"Hey! You're supposed to be on my side! In any case, we can just pretend he is a face character."
They all thought about it until Cap said, "That might actually work! Let's do it!"
So the rest of the day they spent taking pictures and doing funny things to the different Universal cast members portraying them.

The final day of the trip had come, which they spent in the rest of Universal Studios.
They explored a lot of the studio in the morning and ate at an Irish restaurant. They went to see a show about monster movie makeup and Pepper was called up on stage a volunteer to show how some of the props in movies can help with the live-action portion of the film. They then went on the minions ride. After they got off it some of the minions took a picture with Loki (In honor of their ritual to find the evilest master out there) and they continued to go on many more rides until dinner where they went back to the Citywalk and got doughnuts. They ended the night by going back to the hotel to watch some fireworks while relaxing at the pool.

The next day came, and none of them wanted to leave, but they packed up and signed out of the hotel. They had to get a whole other suitcase just to fit all of their souvenirs in. The left for New York at about 3:00 in the afternoon. They got back to Stark Tower, which just became Avengers tower a week ago, and everyone flopped onto the couch in the living room. They turned on the TV to see themselves on the news. The News station was talking about how they made an appearance at Super Hero Island a day ago. They all laughed at the memory and decided they should probably unpack. They all ate some leftover pizza and went to their rooms to unpack.
Loki grabbed his luggage and went to his room. Stark had decided he was trustworthy enough to have his own room, not the cell he had been staying in up until recently, in the tower near the other Avengers. He walked into his room and put his suitcase down on the bed. He fondly propped up the pictures they had gotten while on the trip on his writing desk, as he remembered the fun days they had just had.

Two days passed and the group was ecstatic when the president himself had come to the tower earlier to tell them that he had gotten wind of Loki staying there. They explained the situation to him and he told them that if their band played a concert in three months at the white house on his birthday, then he would give Loki a full pardon.
The avengers had already started to plan the concert out when the lights went out for a couple of seconds and turned back on again in an instant. JARVIS's calming voice spoke to them.
"Sir. Thor has arrived."
Before they could ask any questions, Thor came running in with a worried and sad look on his face.
Loki asked, "Thor? You're back early, what has happe--."
Thor cut him off.
"Mother has been killed."
