Revelations
I could tell that May knew I was planning something, I guess it was a family trait we shared.
"I've come to find out what actually happened both here in New York and in Wakanda. I can't let myself believe that everyone's gone. After everything, I can't lose my friends, and I especially can't lose Dad, not like this." I said, trying hard not to break down.
"Well, I can help with that."
To say I was shocked would be an understatement. If I was interpreting my aunt correctly then she was saying that she knew how I could talk to the Avengers.
"How the hell do you know the Avengers?" I blurted out, unable to contain myself.
...
Peter was Spider-man.
It was a lot to process and came with a lot of explaining that lasted a while but the bottom line was that Peter Parker was Spider-man. While shocking, it made a lot of sense, and the information came with a helpful addition. Peter's mentor was Tony Stark of all people, meaning that May was able to get me in direct contact with Iron Man, and by extension the Avengers.
In exchange for telling me about Peter, I also told May about all the supernatural threats I had faced In the last few years with my friends back in Beacon Hills. May had been upset when I told her of my possession of the Nogitsune, and of being forgotten thanks to the Ghost Riders and once I was done we had both broken down together over everything that had happened.
I also told her of something that Deaton had told me about a month ago after I had returned from the Wild Hunt. Apparently, the reason I had been able to cross the barrier was because my spark was a lot stronger than he had initially anticipated. He had given me some books on the subject so I could learn what that meant and practice honing my skills.
There had also been the realisation after the Nogitsune that a part of the fox had stayed with me. Although not on par with the weres in the Pack, I now had slightly heightened strength, senses and healing. I had also been doing self-defence regularly with Derek and Chris Argent and so my fighting skills were significantly improved.
These things meant I knew I would be able to assist the Avengers with the problem that had been created globally. I also had more knowledge of dealing with supernatural threats and I was sure that despite not knowing what had happened yet, my problem-solving ability would be an asset to what I was sure was a very depleted team. After all, if Peter was gone, some of the Avengers and their allies must be too.
They would need all the help they could get.
