Crossover! Part 1
(In the rise universe) The days have started to get shorter as winter sets in. The turtles have taken to staying in the lair more often due to the cold falling over New York. Donnie had recently installed a new heated room filled with blankets, pillows, and a few plushies courtesy of Raph sitting neatly in the corner. All the turtles have taken a liking to this room and are often seen relaxing in there, today is no different.
Mikey sits on one of the bigger teddy bears in the corner drawing while Donnie sits curled up in a blanket playing on his phone. In the middle of the room Leo stretches across Raphs back, used to the spikes by now he sits comfortably. Everyone seems comfortable except for Raph who seems restless. Leo notices quickly, “Hey you okay Raph? Am I bothering you?,” Raph sighs, “No you're fine, I’ve just been worried. I mean we haven’t gone on a patrol in days! Who knows what the bad guys have been up to?”. Leo pats Raph's shell comfortingly, “Don’t worry hermano, we haven’t seen anything in days," Raph looks unsure and sits up, Leo quickly getting off and standing to the side, "but... to ease your worries we can check the radar” Leo nods as he turns to Donnie, “Don have you seen anything on the crime radar recently?”.
Donnie stirs from his blanket wrap obviously not happy about it, “Irritable sigh, nothing will be there but fine I shall check” Donnie moves to check the tech on his wrist typing away. “Surprised gasp? there is an energy surge appearing somewhere nearby!”. Leo looks surprised “Well, what type of energy are we talking about here?”. “If I'm correct in which I am, then I'm talkin big portal”. Leo starts to get excited, grinning wildly, “Well sounds like a job for a portal master then, come on guys it’s time to beat up some portal pirates!” Leo pumps his fits into the air making his way over to the door. Mikey gets up and walks over to Leo, "How do you know they're pirates?". Leo twirls around to face Mikey, walking backwards. "Well my baby brother who else would use illegal portals besides the hidden city pirates?" Leo throws an arm around Mikey's shoulder both grinning excitedly. "And besides even if it isn't them we still get to get out of the house!"
After some prodding from Raph that definitely wasn't just him forcefully unrolling Donnie from the blanket. Donnie eventually gets up begrudgingly to join the others. Mikey is basically vibrating from excitement “Oh yeah baby! I’ve been getting bored sitting around all day” Mikey throws his arm over Leo's shoulder who's matching his elated mood. “Yeah we are going to kick some major butt! All we gotta do is find them,” Leo turns to Donnie grinning confidently, “So where is the portal at Don-tron?”.
Donnie starts to get very excited “Well, using my very complex and accurate algorithm I can pinpoint their location”. Donnie starts typing furiously into his tech “Almost there, I just have to divide the length by the root of 481” Leo, Mikey, and Raph all stop seeming to stare at something above them, “Then take the density multiplied 88 and move it to-” "Donnie-" Leo grabs Donnie’s shoulder "hold on brother I almost have it" typing faster "Don-" "peeved sigh, what could you possibly need so badly that you must interrupt my very complex calculations!?" “I think we found it…”.
Donnie looks up and his jaw drops. They are all now looking up to see a portal that is rapidly switching between colors. It seems to drip from its place on the ceiling almost like it’s bleeding in colors that are so familiar. Everything in the room seems to swirl as colors blend and it starts to get so so bright yet pitch black. The turtles are struck with all this at once,
Mikey crys out as he grabs onto Raph “What- what is happening!? Raph, i’m scared” Raph grabs onto Mikey with his left arm before grabbing Leo and Donnie with his right. “Raphs got you don’t worry”. They all huddle together trying not to get lost in the chaos as the portal rages on. Leo covers Donnie's ears knowing this must be a nightmare for him, and if you say later that it was because he just wanted to hold Donnie he would deny it. They all huddle together for what feels like an hour even though it was only a few mer seconds before a blinding light engulfs the room. Raph hugs around them tighter as the light covers them from all sides. After what could only be a minute they all slowly let go to see the damage done to their living room. Pillows and blankets are thrown around in disarray, the couch sits on its side and there in the middle of the room is an odd shape. Leo approaches the odd shape after Raph reluctantly lets go of him. When Leo reaches the center he is greeted with a pile of four unconscious turtles. He can only stutter out "Who the hell are they!" before the four new turtles start to stir.
