over the years
Adora
''Y-you. I know- i know you''
She did. Catra. She opened and closed her mouth, but nothing came out but a small squeak. She tried again, this time forming the words I'm sorry.
''I-I'm sorry''
She ducked her head and ran, she couldn't do this, not today, or any day, and even if she could there was still a high chance of her breaking down into tears.
She was late to English, but that was ok, her mum wouldn't find out, so for now she was safe.
Catra
Was that all she had to say. sorry, fucking sorry, after everything she had put her through, Adora had said sorry. She looked different, she wore her hair down, no more stupid hair poof, she was skinnier, even though she had no meat on her to lose, and she looked tired, so tired, like she hadn't been getting sleep for the past 11 years. What on earth had happend to her.
Time skip
Catra
Lunch. The day was halfway through and she hadn't made any friends, really all she had done was see Adora, and that had messed her up.
Maybe she wanted to talk to her, or just see how she was, or be friends again, she didn't know, but something, something at the back of her mind was nagging her to just see adora and her pretty blue eyes.
Adora
It was lunch. Normally she hated it, the smell of the food the way it looked at and taunted her and the fact that she could only have, only afford a small salad, and it never felt like enough. Her mother clearly deemed drugs and booze more important than her daughters and her own health. But it was fine she just had to put a smile on her face and get deal with hunger.
(they liked when she was slim and small)
But right now only one person was on her mind. Catra. Catra was different now, her hair was cut short and she now had an undercut. she had grown taller, the were about the same height now ( Adora herself probably being the taller one ) she still had her mitch-match eyes, and the were still so beautiful to her. Catra was beautiful. She still had that mischievous smirk of hers, she was almost exactly the same.
She wanted to talk to her, become friends with her again, but it was never about what Adora wanted, so all she could do is watch and hope that Catra would come over and just talk, or let Adora herself ramble like when they were kids, but Adora had ruined that, of course she had Adora always ruined everything.
