Chapter 3
Tadashi hurriedly changed his clothes. Hiro had been awfully quiet ever since they’d entered the building.
Frowning, he pulled his gym shirt over his head. With his face muffled by the shirt fabric, he asked “Hiro?” Tadashi emerged from the darkness of his shirt. “Hiro, what’s wro-“ Tadashi gulped when he saw Hiro. The boy’s eyes were fixed on Tadashi, following his every move.
Worrying his bottom lip, Tadashi eyed his little brother. He placed a hand on Hiro’s shoulder. Finally, Hiro seemed to snap out of it. He flashed a grin (it looked strained, Tadashi noticed) and quickly finished changing his own shirt. Tadashi couldn’t help sneaking a glance or two at his baby brother. What’s going on? Except he thought he knew. But that’s impossible! Tadashi had never told anyone about his unbrotherly feelings for Hiro. Shaking his head, Tadashi grabbed his bag and went to the gym area, Hiro close behind. Alright. This can’t get any more awkward, right?
He went to the first machine and began instructing Hiro on how to use it.
