Chapter 23

Day Five- Star Wars (Hollywood Studios)

Today is the day that Peter is the most excited about. You’re going back to Hollywood Studios, specifically for all the Star Wars stuff. He also made you watch a Star Wars marathon with him to prepare for all of this. They weren’t really your type of movies, but you did it for him. Getting ready, you expected to be surprised by a shirt you haven’t seen before but when your mom throws you a t-shirt this morning, it’s one of your own- one that Peter gave you for your birthday before the Blip. The black one with the Star Wars script across it that said ‘The Sass Is Strong With This One’ in yellow writing.

“Thought he’d enjoy you wearing this one.” She says with a smirk.

“You’re the best.” You smile at her. When you walk out of your room, Peter doesn’t even glance up. He’s too busy looking at his phone, probably texting Ned about today. “Excited babe?”

“So excited. Ned is so jealous of all the things we’re going to do. He says I have to ride Rise of the Resistance for him.” His fingers are flying across the keyboard as he texts his best friend back. You laugh at his shirt, which you’re guessing your mom got for him to wear today because it’s the only Star Wars themed shirt you haven’t seen him wear before. It’s a gray shirt with black writing in the Star Wars font that says ‘Best Boyfriend In The Galaxy’. Finally after a moment he looks up at you and sees what shirt you’re wearing. “Pepper packed that for you?”

“She thought you’d like this one for today.”

“I love it.” He places a kiss on your cheek.

“This is where you’re supposed to say gross Morguna.” Your dad says, holding your sister against his hip.

“No, they're cute. I love Petey.” Morgan says with a smile, laying her head on your dad’s shoulder.

“Betrayal.” Your dad huffs out looking at Pepper. “We’re not cute apparently.”

“We’re not her older sister and Petey.” Pepper says, placing a kiss on Tony’s cheek.

“Ew.” Morgan says.

“Betrayal.” Tony repeats.

“Come on, we have a different galaxy to get to.” Your mom teases as your family finally gets out the door to head back to Hollywood Studios and meet up with Colette again.

“I’ve never seen something so beautiful.” Peter says as you snap a picture of your boyfriend looking at the themed world. Your family had saved this land to a separate day, knowing how much time Peter was going to want to spend here.

“Thanks babe.” Peter’s head snaps towards you.

“Not what I meant. This is a different kind of beauty. You’re beautiful of course, but this is like my little boy dream. You’re my now dream.”

“Good save.” You place a kiss on his cheek.

“The Galaxy’s Edge. It’s like nothing I’ve ever seen.”

“Babe, you’ve literally been to space.” You say softly, teasing him. With all the noise of the park, he’s the only one who heard your teasing, which is good since it was only meant for him.

“But this is Star Wars.” Some Storm Troopers march by and you swear you can pinpoint the actual moment that Peter’s heart stops beating. “Did you see that? Actual Storm Troopers.”

“Maybe I should go while you fangirl.” You try to drop his hand, but his tightens around yours.

“You can’t go. You're the person I want to share this with.”

That causes you to pause and tilt your head ever so slightly as you question, “Not Ned?”

“I mean if Ned was here, that would be cool.” Peter admits with a shrug, then continues, “but I want to share all the things in my life with you.” He pulls your joined hands so that they’re wrapped around your shoulders. Suddenly his head turns to look over at a huge white ship.

“Look the Millenium Falcon!”

“I thought that was Star Trek, not Star Wars,” You keep a straight face so he won’t know you’re teasing. His face falls.

“Did you not catch it during the movies? We might need to watch them again when we get home.”

“Baby, I’m kidding. Do you want a picture?” He nods his head and you stop to snap a picture of him.

“Take one with me?” He asks and you step back into his embrace. Your mom offers to take the photo and you turn to place a kiss on his cheek right as she snaps the photo.

“So your first DAS time is at 11:30 for Rise of the Resistance. But until then, let’s go in here.” Your dad points towards a building. He’s up to something, but you don’t say anything. Colette must be in on it because she just nods and leads you inside the building. Your first time for a ride isn’t for nearly three hours? That seems a bit weird to you, but your dad must have a plan. Technically you have the rest of Hollywood Studios if Galaxy Edge is taking too long even with the Disability Access Service Card.

“What is this place?” Peter asks, his arm still around you.

“Babe, you’re the one who’s been looking at the builds of this place way more than I have. I have less than zero idea what any of these places are. I only watched the movies to make you happy, remember?”

“Wait a second. No. No! This is Savi’s Workshop!” The name sounds familiar but you can’t remember why. Your dad leans over to whisper in your ear.

“It’s the lightsaber place.” Ah, so that’s why Peter is freaking out. Your dad was going to let him build a lightsaber.

Peter pulls you to a stop. “I can’t afford this place.” He says on a hushed whisper. “It’s like $200 to build one of these.”

“I don’t think Dad is going to say no to paying. Honestly, I’m pretty sure he’s going to insist on paying. And I’m also pretty sure it’s not the most expensive thing he’s given you.”

“That’s different.” Peter says, knowing you’re talking about his multi-million dollar suit.

“It is, but he wants us to have fun on this trip, and he knows that this is the land you were the most excited about. If your choice is being gifted a lightsaber or being blasted by Iron Man because you’re dating me, which would you rather?”

“I thought you hated him spending money on you too?”

“I’ve gotten a bit used to it at this point. It’s part of being a Stark turns out. That and having Happy around all the time.” You point to the man who has been with your family the entire trip. He’s smiling at your sister who is telling him some story or joke, you’re not entirely sure.

“Everything ok?” Your dad asks, not stepping closer, to give the two of you some space in case you need it. You decide to let Peter answer. If he turns it down, you’ll find something else to do until your DAS time.

“Everything is fine Tony.” He says, placing his arm back around you. You flash a smile at your dad.

By the end of the time in the shop, your family walks out with two working lightsabers, only because your dad insisted that Peter have someone he can battle with. Not you, that’s for sure, even though your dad had told you a million times he didn’t mind getting a third. So Peter has his blue lightsaber, with lots of parts and pieces that you can’t explain if you tried, and Morgan has a purple one, also with parts and pieces she picked out that you have no clue what they mean. To be honest, she doesn’t fully understand what they mean, but now Peter is talking with her about starting her on the movies soon.

“You sure you don’t need one to battle them too?” Your dad asks, wrapping his arm around you as you follow behind your sister and boyfriend, the latter talking about the series with your sister.

“Positive. There’s no need to buy another $200 lightsaber. I’d rather get a wand at Universal anyway.”

“There’s no reason you can’t have both.”

“I don’t need both.” You say as your family walks towards Rise of the Resistance. “Plus, this can be their thing. I’m not that much of a Star Wars person, much to Peter’s chagrin.” You say with a  shrug.

“But I’m pretty sure he likes you all the same.” You nod.

“He does. But I’m just saying, this can be a Morgan and Peter thing. I’ll have my own things with each of them.”

“You’re a good big sister, you know that.” Your dad places a kiss in your hair.

“Trying to be.”

“I think it comes easily to you.”

At the end of the day, you’re sitting curled into Peter’s side. He’s scrolling through Instagram, looking at the pictures from your friends’ Spring Break and you’re looking at your phone kind of, but mostly looking at him. “Pete?”

“Yeah babe?”

“Did Galaxy’s Edge live up to your expectations?” He sets his phone down and places a kiss in your hair.

“It was amazing.”

“Favorite ride?”

“Too hard to pick. I really liked Rise of the Resistance but I also really liked Smuggler’s Run too because I got to pilot the Millenium Falcon. But I think my favorite thing we did today was making lightsabers.”

“I had a bet.” You lean up to place a kiss on his cheek. Your parents were tucking Morgan in so this was your few moments alone with Peter until they came out. He turns his head to place a kiss on your lips, that you lean into to deepen.

“I’m going to go with no.” You hear your dad’s voice come from behind you. “No teenage makeout sessions on my couch. He comes to sit down on the couch, aiming to sit between you but you just snuggle farther into Peter, leaving no room for your dad. “Scooch.”

“This seat is taken. However there is plenty of room over there.” You motion towards the other end of the couch. His eyes narrow at you but he does eventually sit down at the other end.

“Tony, I should really thank you for bringing me along on this trip. This has been everything. May and I could never afford something like this-”

“Kid, it’s nothing. If it makes Y/N happy that you’re here, then it makes me happy.” Tony says as your mom comes to sit down next to your dad.

“Morgan is really excited to start watching Star Wars with you, Peter. It was all she could talk about as we were tucking her in. And she didn’t want us to put her lightsaber even across the room to go to bed.”

“Really?”

“Really. She wanted to curl up with it and Iron Bear to sleep with.”

“Well at least one Stark sister is excited about Star Wars.” Peter teases you.

“Hey I did watch all the movies.”

“That you did.”

It doesn’t surprise you that the picture your mom snapped of you and Peter in front of the Millenium Falcon with you turning away from the camera to place a kiss on Peter’s cheek ends up on your feed a little bit later that night.

@peter_p: Going to Galaxy’s Edge might have been my little kid dream, but you’re my now dream.

@Y/NStark: Who says you can’t have both?

@bettybrant2002: you two are too cute for your own good. Also @Y/NStark, when do I get a Disney castle photo of the two of you?

@jedimasterned: STILL SO JEALOUS

@youknowwhoIam: @Y/NStark seems like a good dream to have, in my not so humble opinion.

@Y/NStark: @youknowwhoIam dad i am shaking my head so hard

@youknowwhoIam: @Y/NStark why? I tend to be right about these kinds of things

@Y/NStark: @youknowwhoIam get out of Peter’s comments

@SpideysNo1Fan: This is fake. No way did Penis go somewhere for Spring Break

@youknowwhoIam: @SpideysNo1Fan get the fuck out of these comments

@SpideysNo1Fan: yes sir, sorry sir

Day Six- Epcot (Avenger Land)

Back to Epcot you go today, for what your dad’s followers have been waiting to see. Avenger Land at Epcot. It opened after the Blip to thank all the Avengers for what they did to bring back everyone who had been Blipped. But out of all the Avengers, Dad and technically Peter will be the first to visit. Oh and Mom, duh. She’s totally an Avenger now. But that slips out of your mind more times than you can count. To you, she’s just your mom and a kick ass CEO.

Your dad has been talking about how he’s going to give all the characters talking to’s about how to be the best Avenger Characters. Your mom keeps rolling her eyes. Peter told you he just wants to take a picture with Spider-Man so he can tell Flash he met Spider-Man at Disney World. Morgan wants to ride the rides. And you? You’re not honestly sure what you want from today.

You know that your mom probably has something special planned clothing wise for today, so you’ll be surprised to see what. But apparently she wants to keep it a secret because you had breakfast in your PJs again. She even told you she would give you your clothes after breakfast. She’s really trying to keep this one quiet.

Pepper closes the door behind her. “Pep-”

“I’ll be out in a second Tony.” She has a smile on her face as she calls over her shoulder to him through the door. “You two ready to surprise your dad?” She whispers to you and Morgan. Morgan nods enthusiastically as you let a smile break free. She holds a gray shirt out to Morgan and a white shirt to you. You open the shirt to read what the writing says. In black letters it reads ‘I’m A Disney Princess Unless The Avengers Need Me’ with a picture of the Disney Castle with Iron Man making the arch over the castle.

“This is absolutely brilliant!” You say.

“I thought you might like that.” Across the room, Morgan has already changed into her gray shirt that reads ‘I Have A Hero, I Call Him Dad’ In black letters with Spider-Man, Captain America, and Hulk’s Insignias underneath. Remaining in Pepper’s hands are two red and gold Mickey Ears.

“So I had two pairs of ears custom made for today. They sell a bunch of Iron Man ones at the park. But I thought you two having special ones would really make your dad happy. So these are yours and these are yours.” She hands each of you specially made Iron Man ears. Yours are red and gold, with his helmet on the left ear and his old arch reactor on the right one. It was the arch reactor he had had when you had met him for the first time, which made it so much more special. In the center of the ears was a gold bow and the Avengers A in red and gold. Your sister’s ears were also red and gold and has his mask on the left ear, but that’s where the similarities ended. On the right ear was ‘Love You 3000’ which Morgan said to your dad all the time and in the center, while it did have a bow, her’s was red and gold and had his blue nanotech holder, which is what he had when she was born. Both ears are made especially for you both. No one else in the world could have the ears and still have the same meaning that they did to you.

“These are perfect Mom.” You say before throwing your arms around Pepper. “Now you might want to go distract him so we can get ready.”

“That’s the plan.”

When you and Morgan walk out, your dad is silent, which is so unlike him. His eyes bounce between you both and Pepper. Instead of saying anything, he just pulls Pepper into his arms, kissing her softly. There might have been a whispered “I love you” between your dad and mom, but you’re not really sure.

“Mommy, Daddy, you’re being gross.” Morgan says after a moment.

“Sorry Morguna.” Tony says after a moment and pulls Morgan into his left arm. “I just love your mom so much.”

“But Disney.” She says with a pout as Peter’s arm wraps around your waist, watching the interaction between your dad and your sister.

“You’re right. Disney is very important.”

Tony’s followers were very excited to see his Instagram post later that day of you, Morgan, him, and the character actor of Iron Man. On your dad’s head, he’s wearing the park’s version of Iron Man Ears, though his is a hat instead of a headband. And funny enough off camera, Peter is wearing a set of Spider-Man ones too. All of you in the photo are holding your left hand out as if you have repulsors on, even though only the character actor does.

@youknowwhoIam: Apparently there are two of me? But one of us is missing an arm? It’s weird. But what’s not weird is what @pepperstark did to surprise me this morning. She had custom Iron Man ears made for M and @Y/NStark. They have a lot of meaning behind them, that no I won’t explain because that’s personal. But I just have to say I have the best wife and the best kids. No I’m not crying; you’re crying.

Also even though her shirt says she will, Y/N will NEVER be an @Avengers. I FORBID it. So stop asking @Furyious.

@CaptainAmerica: Happy is a good look for you Tony

@Hawkeye: I think @Y/NStark would make a great Avenger. I’ll teach her some tricks.

@youknowwhoIam: @Hawkeye see if you get any upgrades ever again if you do

@ThankThor: IS THIS THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH YOU SPEAK OF? CAN I COME NEXT TIME?

@Furyious: At least she’s not a narcissist like some people.

@youknowwhoIam: @Furyious touch my kids and you’ll have bigger problems than a narcissist

Day Seven- Magic Kingdom

Today’s your last day at the Disney Parks and all you want is a picture of you and Peter in front of the castle so you can update your Instagram. You have a ton of cute photos of you and him, but somehow in all the photos from the other day at Magic Kingdom, one of you had your eyes closed or there’s someone photobombing or something else is wrong with the photo. Today is your day to fix it.

“I wouldn’t let your dad see you and Peter until we’re walking out the door ok?” Your mom says handing you a shirt. It doesn’t make sense.

“Wait, why?”

“Just trust me ok?”

“Uh, ok?”

“Also do we need to replace any of your pump supplies or low snacks in the backpack?”

“I used my cartridge, needle, and site to change yesterday, so I need to replace those. I’m not sure about low snacks.”

“I’ll put some extra in. Can you give me a new cartridge, needle, and site? Also some extra wipes and stuff to throw in?” You reach into your suitcase and grab out the items she asked for.

“Can you throw some protein bars and maybe some goldfish? That way if I drop we have something besides just juice and applesauce pouches?”

“Sure. Any other requests snack wise?” You think about it for a moment before shaking your head. “Sounds good.” She places a kiss on your forehead. “Can you help Morgan brush her hair?” You nod your head. “You’re wonderful. Love you.”

You unfold the shirt your mom handed you and you’re surprised to see half a cartoon looking sandwich and black Disney font writing that reads “We Finish Each Other’s”. Not up the usual alley of shirts your mom picks but it works you guess.

However when you see Peter right before you walk out the door, it makes total sense. “We Finish Each Other’s” your shirt reads and “Sandwiches” his reads. It’s a couple shirt set which is why your mom said not to let your dad see it until walking out the door.

“She better not have bolused for it first.” Your dad says, reading the shirts, even though he knows the joke. But you start laughing after all the times you’ve had to yell at your dad for stealing your food after bolusing for it already.

@Y/NStark: We Finish Each Other’s Sandwiches… unless I bolused for it. My dad said no otherwise.

@peter_p: just saying I’m the Kristoff to your Anna, not the Hans though.

@bettybrant2002: THIS IS THE CONTENT I AM HERE FOR

@jedimasterned: CUTE COUPLE ALERT

@mysteriousjones: this is too sickeningly cute. you’ll go into dka again if there’s more of this.

@CaptainAmerica: Surprised Tony isn’t shooting Peter off with a repulsor.

@SpideyNo1Fan: This is obviously photoshopped. No way IRON MAN took Penis Parker on his family vacation.

@youknowwhoIam: @SpideyNo1Fan are you clearly that clueless? I’m going to bring my daughter’s boyfriend to Disney because he makes her happy. And his name is Peter last I checked. Use it.

@SpideyNo1Fan: @youknowwhoIam yes sir, sorry sir

@Hawkeye: This is why we can’t trust Spidey’s fans ^^^. Let me know if he’s bothering you kids and I’ll make sure he doesn’t mess with anyone again @peter_p @Y/NStark

Day Eight- Universal Studios (Hogwarts)

Hogwarts. Hog-freaking-warts. Who cares about the rest of Universal? You’re going to Hogwarts today! “I gotta get back to Hogwarts!” You sing at the top of your lungs.

“We get it kiddo. You’re excited.” Your dad says as he nurses his coffee.

“Dad this is going to be the best day yet.”

“No, Avenger Land was the best day yet.” He argues and you shake your head.

“No way. Hogwarts! You can’t beat Hogwarts and Hogmead and Diagon Alley!”

“It literally just spells diagonally.”

“Typical Muggle.” You mutter before speaking a bit louder. “Just because you don’t understand the hype doesn’t mean shit.”

“Shit!” Morgan says loudly and your face falls, wondering if your dad will get mad.

“That’s Mom’s word, remember Morguna? We can’t use it. She coined it.” Morgan’s face furrows as if she’s going to argue that you just used it but your dad steps in before she can. “Breakfast time?”

“Breakfast time.” She agrees.

“I was thinking… pancakes?” He says as if Morgan will ever say no to her favorite food.

“Pancakes.” She nods her head.

“Can you go say good morning to Mom while I get it started?” Morgan nods and starts to run off towards where your mom is probably sleeping but you run up behind her and scoop her into your arms.

“Y/N! Let me down.”

“Nope, I caught myself a Momo! Now we’re off to try and catch a Mom. Ready?” You open the door to your parents room and see your mom on her datapad, still lying in bed. “Oh no, a flying Momo is coming to get Mom!”

“Oh no!” Your mom says with a smile as she sets her datapad on the bedside table as you toss Morgan onto the bed. Morgan lets out a giggle as she flops onto the bed. You watch as your little sister crawls across the bed to cuddle into your mom’s side. You walk around to sit down next to your mom, who wraps an arm around each of you. “Both my girls coming to say good morning, why this is my lucky day.”

“Daddy sent us so he can work on pancakes.” Morgan says with a smile.

“Pancakes, really? No.”

“Yes!”

“Well it must really be my lucky day.”

“Also we’re going to Y/N’s favorite park. She gets to see How-Hog-”Morgan stumbles over the name.

“Hogwarts.” You whisper to help her.

“Hogwarts.” She repeats louder.

“Does she now?” Your mom says as if she hadn’t heard you singing about it earlier. “Well that’s exciting. Do we all get to go or just Y/N?”

“All of us!” Morgan exclaims as if your mom doesn’t know.

“Well maybe we should all go check on Daddy and see if he has some pancakes for us so we can go to Hogwarts.” She places kisses on Morgan’s head and then yours. Morgan scrambles out of bed running back towards the kitchen. You climb off the bed, waiting for your mom. She wraps an arm around your shoulder. “So your favorite park?”

“Dad told me Avenger Land was the most exciting, not this.”

“That doesn’t surprise me. He was diagnosed as a narcissist.” She smiles as the two of you walk towards the kitchen, where you see Peter and Morgan sitting at the breakfast bar. “Personally, I think if you find it exciting it means it’s exciting. Tony will always find himself exciting.” She smirks at you.

“I heard that.” He says as he flips a pancake.

“I meant for you to.” Pepper says with a smile.

After one last Florida breakfast with your family and your boyfriend, you make your way into your bedroom. Your mom walks in a few minutes later holding a blue shirt. “I know you might rather repping your house colors, but I thought this suits you. If you would rather your house colors, we can get you some at the park.” You look at the navy shirt she handed you and read the gold font ‘When In Doubt Go To The Library’.

“It’s perfect.” You say.

“I thought it might be. I still think we can get you some house colored stuff, or at least a wand for my favorite wizard.” Your mom says before giving you a kiss. “Now get dressed. We have to get you back to Hogwarts.” She smiles at you.

Usually, you’re one for shorter captions, but today you go for quoting the two favorite parts of your favorite song from your favorite Harry Potter themed parody- you just can’t help yourself. Plus it just makes the best caption for the picture of you in front of the castle with your Slytherin scarf holding your wand.

“StarKid replied to my photo!” You exclaim to Peter. “They know I exist!”

“I saw babe.” Peter smiles at you. He knows what a big deal this is to you. You love StarKid productions. You spent most of your time after coming back from the Blip catching up on the shows you had missed. You sent Peter texts telling him which of your favorites hadn’t been in it because of the Blip and commented on which were your favorite shows. Then you spent the next few weeks making him watch them with you as you watched them a second time. “What’s your number sitting at? Do you need some Butterbeer?”

“I think I need some no matter what. But I’m sitting at 93 and dropping ever so slightly.”

“Did I hear dropping ever so slightly?” Your dad calls over his shoulder. You nod.

“Butterbeer time.” You explain.

“I think we can arrange that.” He says, explaining to Sanna that Butterbeer was the next thing on the list.

“Do we want to stop for lunch? There’s a great restaurant that has some good vegetarian options over this way and they also have Butterbeer.” Sanna points out to the left.

“I could go for lunch.” You say with a slight shrug.

“Lunch sounds wonderful, Sanna.” Pepper agrees, swinging Morgan’s arm that she’s holding. Your family walks with Sanna into a pub looking restaurant and orders food to eat. You sit down at a table and start to munch on some of the food that looks like it literally could have been at the feast at Hogwarts before putting in the carbs into Kyle to counter all the walking you’ve been doing at the park.

You try to ignore the eyes on your family. You’re a Stark, out at lunch with Iron Man and the Pepper Potts, it’s not unusual for people to stare, but after all the private dining rooms at Disney, the eyes staring is a little uncomfortable. “Just ignore them.” Your dad says, catching your eyes.

“It’s just weird. We’re just normal people.”

“You would think that, but to them, we’re apparently not.” You roll your eyes. “How much you want to bet we’ll end up in People’s “Celebrities are just like us” for eating lunch?”

“I’m not betting on that.” You take a sip of the creme soda tasting beverage. “I wouldn’t be surprised if at least something from our vacation ends up being submitted by someone. I don’t take bets I’ll lose.”

“Smart girl.” Your mom says as she helps Morgan cut up her food. “Your dad could learn from you.”

“I’ll keep in mind how you feel, Pep.” He teases back.

“Glad to hear.” She smiles at him. “After we finish here, we have the AAP time for the castle ride.” You can’t help but smile. You’ve been waiting for a while for this ride, but so that you don’t spend a lot of time waiting in lines and possibly drop low while waiting, your parents have been utilizing the AAP, or Attractions Assistance Pass, as much as they can. It especially helps with the lines where you would have been waiting in the sun, since your insulin can overheat, both in your pump as well as the back up vial that’s in your mom’s backpack. But a few of the Harry Potter rides have really long queues so you have a time to come back and ride them. So you’ve been counting down the time to come back and ride this one.

After finishing lunch, your family cleans up your trash and starts to walk out of the restaurant when a mom and her two sons come up to your family. “I’m sorry to interrupt your vacation, but is there any way my sons can take a picture with you Mr. Stark? You’re their favorite superhero.”

Sanna tries to step in and stop this, but your dad takes over before she can. “I think one photo is alright. Especially if they think I’m better than Spider-Man.” He teases, knowing that Peter is right there. He takes a quick photo with the two little boys and talks with them for a moment. You smile seeing your dad interact with these kids. It reminds you of seeing him interact with Morgan.

“Y/N.” Your sister pulls on your hand. You scoop her into your arms.

“What’s up Momo?”

“Is Daddy like famous or something?” You throw your head back and laugh.

“Or something Momo. He’s something else for sure.” You forget how much of this is kept away from your sister a lot of the time. “You ready to ride more rides?” She nods her head enthusiastically. She had made the height cut off just barely, but she’s like your dad where not much scares her in terms of rides, so she’s been riding all the rides she can. While the focus has been on making sure that you get through all the Hogwarts ones, you’ve also taken the time to ride some Jurassic Park ones, some Dr. Suess ones, and even some knock off Avenger ones. And Morgan has loved every moment of it. Did she scream at the drops on the roller coasters? Sure. But so had you.

You know that soon you’ll be heading home. You have school tomorrow, but for now, you’ll take in the sights and sounds that will make up the memory of this trip. And tomorrow you'll head back to the hell hole that is high school, but for now you’ll live in a land where you’re not too dumb or too stupid to need Dad to pay to pass for the year. You’ll just enjoy the moments as they are.

“What are you thinking about?” Your dad asks, wrapping his arm around your shoulder as Morgan holds Peter’s hand in front of you.

“Just how wonderful this all has been. How I don’t want it to end.”

“I’m glad you’ve liked it. I was hoping it would make you happy.”

“I’m definitely happy Dad.” And in this moment, it’s not a lie. When you go back to school tomorrow, the answer will be different.
