Its Worth it to Love You
Summary
Noelle have some thoughts about teenage love and how it is very unlikely to last, yet, she hopes there are exceptions. Diya and Min, if they last, then maybe, just maybe, Akarsha might within her grasp.
Note
Hellooooo this is my first fic ever. I just really love these 2 so I wanted to write about these 2 disasters. As this is my first fic, i made something quite simple, hope y'all enjoy it tho! I have a plan to make something bigger for these 2. Criticism is welcomed.

Noelle is confused
She thinks logically and logic is supposedly absolute, and a question that should be very simply answered by logic was stumpting her.
Does teenage love last?
The question's answer was statistically simple , No. All numbers, tests, and all signs of logic point to it being a simple no. Yet, why does she want to believe otherwise? Was it because she want the relationship of Diya and Min to last? She doesn't know.

"Ayeee" her thoughts were interrupted by a grinning Akarsha sitting beside her.
"What is it ,Akarsha?" Noelle asked reluctently.
"That would be my question, Frenchman. You've been staring at me for like 10 minutes now, I know I am irresistable but keep it clean here in school" Akarsha said with a very annoying grin to her.
Noelle couldn't come up with a comeback in her flustered state so Noelle just turned her back to Akarsha while blushing profusely.

Why do I feel so flustered? Its just an Akarsha joke, so why do I feel so....... weird. She snapped out of it, she then took a look at Diya and Min who were whispering and giggling to each other.
Noelle wanted to believe that their relationship would last but why. It all started when Noelle read an article about teenage love and its chances of lasting. Which was slim. Noelle took another look at the couple who were now kissing. Noelle smiled.
Maybe exceptions to those numbers do exist. One in a million. She was willing to hope it. But, was there a reason she wanted for teenage love to last?

Noelle turned to Akarsha and stared into her eyes, if exceptions do exist. Akarsha is an exception to her everything.
"Akarsha, Can i ask you a question?"
"Yeah, I can teach you the French kiss, your culture will be very proud of you"
"Wha- Ahh nevermind, What do you think of the relationship between Diya and Min."
"Hmm? Oh uhh, well I think they are perfect for each other, maybe it was very cute to see them getting together after a long time of not smashing"
"You bitch, we were 9." Min interjected
"And i know you 2 wanna bone up each other." Akarsha replied
Min just signed and continued making out with Diya.

Noelle was back in thought, they have been pining for each other for many years now. Even if that exception does exist , there are several other conditions that made them this in love. Other exceptions won't work. My feelings for Akarsha won't las-
I love Akarsha? No way, she just makes me feel weird with her jokes, thats all.
The lunch bell rang interrupting her thoughts. She went through her day as normal. And then school was over. Diya had to wait for her parent and Min waited with her and leaving before Diya's mother catches her.
That leaves the 2 of them. Noelle house a bit farther than Akarsha but Akarsha insists on walking Noelle fully to her house as an act of courtesy.
The time walking there is made up by Akarsha making dumb jokes (which admittedly made Noelle laugh heavily but thankfully Akarsha was too busy trying to find her rollerskates in her bag.)
"Hey Akarsha?"
"Sup?"
"What do you think of teenage relationships"
"Uhhhhhhhh." Akarsha was just saying uhh for a while until
"Well I think they're as much legit as any other love ain't it. I mean if some people love each other, who has to stop them"
"But are we old enough to comprehend love" Noelle said
"Love is love , if you think you love someone, then you love them , maybe we're a little young but if its right for you and no laws are broken along the way. Then i say love who you wanna love."
"Hey Akarsha?"
"Yeah?"
"Do you have someone you love?"
"Yeah of course, they love me and i knew them longer than i can process"
Noelle gritted her teeth, her heart was burning. Of course she knew them a long time, no way that love can bloom this fast-
"They're my family afterall"
Ahh she was talking about her family, Noelle had a huge sigh of relieve.
"How about like romantically?" Noelle asked, ughh why did she ask that, this is too far into her personal space.
"Woahhh woah girl, are you hitting on me" Akarsha replied in a goofy way.
"What if i am?" Noelle replied in a sarcastic tone.
Their faces got closer for a stareoff. Akarsha wasn't gonna back down now, neither was Noelle.
Their faces were so close they could kiss.
"Okay okay, i lost" Akarsha backed off blushing red.
"To answer your question, welllllll I did have a crush on a girl in middle school, I confessed. She rejected, which would be fine, but she started spreading really nasty rumors about me and my whole friend group left me so I kinda have a harder time telling someone that I love them, I guess? Its fine i mean, it might be lonely being alone but, maybe its better than being hurt."
Akarsha was done speaking glanced at Noelle.
She looking down in a sad manner
"Ohh uh sorry, i guess i spoiled the mood with my story, I'm fine now, you don't have to feel for me."
"Akarsha? What if someone asked you out."
"Well uhh, I can give anyone a chance, if they are a bit nice and pleasent then I will give them a chance"
"Akarsha"
"Yes?"
"I , like uhhhhh, like , WELLLLLLL like, uh you uhhh"
"What? Are you having a stroke?"
"I LIKE YOU" Noelle blurted out
"I kinda really like you and i don't even know if you like me back but even if you do like me,I know that teenage love statistically is very slim for it to last so I was trying to find a pattern, a number, just something that would assure me that this isn't some mistake, to meaninglessly love, to disrupt everything our parents were setting us up for and-"
Noelle's rambling was interrupted by a hug.
Akarsha was holding Noelle gently, "Well, for your if I don't like you point, I do like you. For your very love chance of us staying together, thats just an overall number that doesn't account for circumstances and what type of relationship they were looking for, if you're willing to work for it , if you think I'm worth it then, then well. Be together for a while."
Noelle hugged Akarsha back
"I can't believe a clown just made me this happy"
"Don't worry, the circus will be here for a while."
On the front of Noelle's house, Noelle was approaching her door, she turned back to Akarsha to flash her a big genuine smile, Akarsha brightly smiled back.
God I love her
