(Un)Happy Coincidences
The Gaster reacts first out of the three other monsters in the room, stumbling back a couple feet back. The small monster reacts after he does, taking a step back as well. The cashier freezes and stays so still that he could be a statue if he wasn’t breathing so quickly.
Error reacts after a moment of silence by grabbing all three with a quick tug of his strings and pulling them into the antivoid. All three, strung up by their arms and waists mainly, threads tight but not cutting (yet).
After another heartbeat passes, the cashier starts struggling, yelling to let them go and put them down. The Gaster simply sags as if waiting to die. The other monster, a skeleton, Error realizes, now that he’s actually paying attention, stares straight at Error from behind the simple face mask he’s wearing.
The small skeleton, who is just watching him, finally says something out loud “why are we here?” the small skeleton asks, focusing entirely on Error, as if trying to ignore the white antivoid around them. So he CAN talk after all, “I C-C-cAn’T HavE anY WitNesSes” Error responds, deadpan.
He’s remarkably calm for being captured by me of all beings. I wonder how long that will last? Error thinks, a bit (very) sadistically. “Can’t we just talk? You don’t have to do this,” the small skeleton said, clearly afraid, but still sounding sure of what he was saying. Error was curious now, after all, it wasn’t every day someone chose to try and talk it out with a monster carrying the moniker ‘God of Destruction’. Error CHECKed them.

I was looking for the creator of protection, and here he is, just tossed right into my hands like a ball or a frisbee, Error quietly chuckles to himself over the metaphor.“Please, I’ll do whatever I can, but don’t hurt the others-” “Kid, just give up already,” the Gaster cuts him off, “Error is the destroyer, he never hesitates to kill, and even if he is more coherent than I have ever heard of him being, he’s still going to kill all of us-”
“NorMalLy thAt w0uld be TruE” Error interrupts, “BUt I dOn’T thiNk YoU wouLd MucH caRe to taLK if I kIlLed TheM, and I riGHt?
