When she loves me
The day before they were due to start school, Wanda decided Robin deserved a break. They had started dating around the time Robin got her Powers, and Wanda felt like she was in heaven. Robin was just so amazing; the way her hair fell into her eyes when she was reading, and the way she fell into her music whenever she played, and that adorable way she would laugh.
There was a small field near the Compound, and Wanda decided to take Robin there.
"Where are we going, Wands?" Robin had asked- a giggling Wanda had blindfolded her as soon as they were within five minutes.
"You'll see," Wanda chuckled. She had Robin's hand in her own, and was leading her through the bushes. She had a basket in her other hand- they had packed a picnic for the day.
As soon as they emerged from the bushes to see the small field, Wanda smiled. Daisies scattered the floor, and the warm sunlight pooled into the middle.
She positioned Robin to look onto the full beauty of the view, and took off her blindfold.
"Wanda wha- oh..." Robin looked around in wonder, talking in the field and her girlfriends smiling face. "Wanda, this is- this is beautiful. Thank you," she leaned in to kiss her girlfriend, who melted into it.
They set up their picnic in the middle, where the sun made a halo of warmth, and sat down to tuck in.
Robin looked at her girlfriend- who was asleep on the grass- and smiled. This was all so good. Everything was just good.
Before- in Hawkins- Robin had only found joy in lying on the sofa, listening to records, Max and Dustin playing cards on the floor with Steve cooking in the other room.
Her parents were shit. They didn't accept her for who she was, and kicked her out. She had stayed with Heather- her girlfriend at the time- before they broke up.
After that- until Steve- her life had been shit; she was homeless, failing in school, and desperately lonely.
Then, she found a job at Scoops, where she met Steve. Somehow, he had gotten her involved in his stupid spy bullshit, pulling her into his huge, broken family.
And she loved it. She still wasnt happy, but she had the most family she had had for three years.
Then, all this shit happened. She met Wanda, and the other Avengers. She had even more family, and was actually happy. Now she would be starting a school where she could pursue music. She had a wonderful girlfriend, who made her life amazing every time she gazed into those hazel eyes.
She would see the others happy, too. Steve had befriended Peter- the two boys basically proved that platonic friendships do exist.
Max and El were enjoying life right now. They still had issues, but Robin didn't think they would ever get over them.
Dustin was a ray of sunshine, and them and Will would hang out in the library, reading and laughing all day. Robin was convinced they had a crush on the small brown haired boy.
Will was getting happier. He still missed Joyce and Jonathan desperately, but had found joy in thing here. Robin saw sparks in his eyes when he looked at Dustin.
Maybe she should get on that with Wanda; try to get the two desperately Pansexual boys together.
Maybe she should start doing more normal things, she thought.
Even though she loved it, training to become an Avenger wouldn't be considered normal by most people.
Maybe she should take Wanda into town, she mused sleepily. The warmth of the sun was making her tired.
She had one final though before she fell into sleep.
I might be in love with Wanda Maximoff
