I wanna be yours

Vision leant back against the cool countertop of the kitchen island, if only so he’d have something sturdy under him lest he quite literally fall head over heels.

Never before had cooking breakfast in the kitchen gotten him quite so riled up as he was now. Of course, things were different now. No longer was he hovering in Wanda’s vicinity as a friend, keeping her company as she fixed her morning coffee. This morning they had awoken in the same bed, as they had for the last week, and lazed around for hours enjoying each other’s bodies before Wanda’s growling stomach finally dragged them out into the compound. So yes, things were different now, they were more. What more was, Vision wasn’t entirely sure, only that he was so caught up in wanting that it was difficult to function as he normally did.

Seeing Wanda as she was now, her hair down and mussed from sleep and sex, her legs bear, only slightly covered by the old crew neck of his she had stolen that morning – Vision was a mess to say the least.

Wanda milled about the kitchen, fixing herself breakfast and coffee and doing her darndest to pretend she didn’t notice Vision’s eyes tracking her every move.

Vision was so preoccupied with doing his best not to look at the hem of the sweater, which danced a very dangerous line up her thighs, that he almost missed Wanda waiting for him with her hand outstretched.

He left the steady safety of the kitchen bench and moved to her, his body gravitating towards her with ease. She took his hand and interlocked their fingers as she stirred her coffee. Vision closed what little distance remained between them and hooked his other arm around her waist, she sighed happily.

“Wanda?” He murmured questioningly, pressing a kiss to the top of her head.

“You shouldn’t look at me like that.” Her voice was quiet, Vision might have thought it husky if he didn’t know better. They were in the communal kitchen for god’s sake.

“How do I look at you?” Vision hummed, his breath making her hair tickle his cheek as he pressed his chin to her shoulder.

“You know how,” Wanda said quietly, smirking at him, her coffee and attempt at breakfast abandoned on the bench.

“Like this?” Vision whispered, surprised by his own forwardness as he let her see just how he longed for her.

Wanda’s mouth parted slightly in surprise as, like magnets, their bodies mimicked each other drawing closer.

“Exactly like that,” Wanda said breathlessly, elbowing him gently in the side so she could return to her toast. “Not while we’re out here.”

Vision hummed thoughtfully and followed her as she reached for the fridge. He caught her as she turned around and teased the milk carton from her tight grip, instead placing her hands atop his shoulders, pulling her close.

“Would you rather I look at you like that somewhere else?” He murmured in her ear. “Somewhere more private?”

Wanda pulled back, her smile a challenge as she dragged her eyes up and down his body, taking in his chest, his biceps, shoulders, neck, his lips. As she appraised him Vision shuddered, her hands dragging down his shoulder blades as they had mere hours ago.

Wanda grinned at his reaction and leaned closer, and her lips pressed to his ear. “Vis.” His name, her nickname for him, had him shivering again. She laughed breathlessly. “You shouldn’t tease me if you can’t take the heat.”

Vision didn’t say what he thought out loud, that he’d take it all, everything, as much as she would give him. Instead, he could only watch, open mouthed, as she sauntered away from him. Gods – if she didn’t own him body and soul.

Vision couldn’t help it, he moved so quickly that he was before Wanda again in seconds and she was jumping back in surprise at the super speed.

“Whoever said I couldn’t take the heat?”

It was all the encouragement Wanda needed

He caught her hips as they collided, their mouths meeting desperately. Her hands were all over him and Vision trembled beneath her fingertips, each touch reminding him of their late-night trysts. She arched needily into him as Vision’s lips found her neck, leaving ghostly imprints on the spots he’d learnt were most sensitive to her. A deep warmth was growing at his naval and it was the only thing that made him pause.

“Darling,” he gasped, a hand resting on the bench at Wanda’s back, “perhaps the kitchen isn’t the best—”

He broke off as Wanda hopped up onto the kitchen island at her back, sending various things in her way to the side with a flick of her hand. She reached forward, her fingers finding the belt loops of his trousers and tugged. Vision grinned at the challenge, capturing her mouth in their deepest kiss yet, each melting into the other as Wanda’s legs parted around his hips before locking in place behind him.

It was a miracle that Vision was aware enough to hear the sound of Steve’s even strides before he made it the kitchen. Without thinking, without even rising for air, he whirled Wanda off the bench and around the corner from the kitchen. She jumped in surprise as her back thudded against the wall, and Vision held them there, safely out of sight. She had to know he was hard – with her pressed to him as she was it was impossible to not. There was no telling what might have happened if Steve hadn’t decided to interrupt them.

“What—” Wanda exclaimed, her hands splaying against his chest when she realised what had happened.

Vision cut her off with a kiss, which she hummed into, her teeth catching his lip as she pulled away.

“What happened?” Wanda asked, quietly this time.

“An unexpected interruption,” Vision murmured, his hands cradling her thighs dangerously. “Perhaps it would be best we don’t get caught in the kitchen like that again.”

“Hmm, yes,” Wanda said into his mouth, smirking, “I want to keep you to myself a little longer before we tell everyone else.”

Vision tried to process this statement as they resumed where they had left off, trying to get a better hold of himself even as Wanda desperately tried to pull him closer. “Before we tell the rest of the team?”

Wanda murmured the affirmative, her lips trailing down his neck in a way that made it difficult to think about anything else. With a frustrated sigh he raised his hand to stop her mouth – though it was quite frankly the last thing he wanted to be doing. But Steve was alarmingly close, pots and pans now clashed in the kitchen telling Vision that he probably wouldn’t be leaving anytime soon.

“Tell the team what, exactly,” he said voice soft, curious.

“Whatever you want to tell them,” Wanda said against his hand, one finger trailing lazy circles on his bicep. “However, much you want to tell them. That we’re dating, that we’re together.”

Vision’s brow furrowed; it was difficult to pinpoint how he was feeling. Of course, the lust and longing were easy to place, afterall he did have Wanda pressed to a wall. But the idea of telling the others that he was dating Wanda was new, odd even. What they had, this synergy, seemed to go deeper than dating, at least on his part. It seemed too fickle, too elementary to really encapsulate what they were, what they had been becoming for months now, what they might become. Perhaps he was getting ahead of himself, but it was difficult to ignore the overwhelming need he felt to give everything to her, to hand himself over wholly. But Vision decided he could wait, he could take things slower, for now.

“As long as I’m yours, I don’t mind what we tell them,” he said with a smile.

Wanda’s answering kiss brought his sentiments home – he’d do anything to keep her close like this.

“I want you,” she murmured, her legs tightening around his hips, “now.

Vision grinned and teased one slower, burning kiss from her as he let her frustration grow. Then, he put his speed to the test, moving so quickly that all anyone would have seen was a quick blur before Vision delivered them finally, to bed.
