The Ex-Fiancés of Alex Quackity
Summary
Tommy has to interview Quackity about his ex-fiancés. Why? Because the public is nosy af and I think it’s cool.Quackity and Wilbur, for a duo who seem to hate each other, are quite the opposite behind the public eye.ORThe fic where the author felt bored, wanted to write about Quackity’s fucked up love life, and had tntduo gather wedding guests while telling their close friends and family, some… not so close. Also probably more than half/all of the character relationships in this fic are just a ton of headcanons smushed on top of the other.

The Traitor

“How come Wilbur never said anything about—”

“I knew. And I’m guessing Tommy is going to be the last one to know,” Techno interrupted.

“When did he tell you? Why didn’t he tell me?” Phil asked.
“He told me when he first started liking the guy. I didn’t think that they’d actually date. To answer your second question, my guess is that he did plan on telling you, but then that incident happened. I think we should go apologize to Ranboo and Tubbo. I kinda feel bad about it.”
     “Seems good enough to me.”

“Morning, duckling.” Wilbur walked towards Quackity, who was sitting in his office chair, doing more paperwork.

“Hey, Wilbur,” Quackity greeted, not looking up from the papers on his desk as he started to read through another bill. He quickly signed the paper, moving on to another one.

Wilbur stood behind Quackity, placing his hands on the duck hybrid’s shoulders. “Q, you should elect a vice president soon. I don’t like seeing you overworking.”
“I know, but I just don’t have the time to.”
“Yeah, because you’re working too much. What if you elect me as your vice president?”

“No,” Quackity answered, signing more paperwork.

Wilbur looked at Quackity’s back and frowned. “Duckling.”
     “Hm?”
     “Stop binding your wings.”
     “No.”
     “Yes.”
     “Why should I?”
     “It’s bad for you.”
     “So?”

Wilbur sighed. “Y’know what? Stand up. You’re not allowed to bind your wings as long as I’m alive.”
“Fine, I’ll do it.” The duck hybrid stood up and raised his hands in defeat.
“Good. Now sit on the floor. I’m preening them.”

Wilbur took out a few loose feathers and Quackity’s wings felt lighter.

Quackity must’ve smiled once Wilbur finished because he asked, “What? Have you not preened your wings in a while?”

The president nodded. He looked at the clock, his eyes widening. “Fuck! I have a meeting with Tommy soon!”
“Shit. He can’t see me here!”

“I know that,” Quackity mumbled, opening a window.

Wilbur had one foot on the windowsill, ready to throw the ender pearl in his hand outside. “One more thing before I leave.”
     “What?”

He turned his head and pulled Quackity in for a kiss. It was short but sweet.

“See you later, Quackity.” Wilbur threw the ender pearl and left Quackity’s office.

He sighed, closing the window and turning to his desk once Wilbur was out of sight. Quackity went back to signing more paperwork, noticing just how light his back felt with his wings out.

There was a sudden knock on the door.

“Oh, Tommy’s interview,” he thought out loud, remembering that the young blond had a job. “Come in!”

The door opened. “Hello, Big Q! Ready to start the interview again?”
     “Yes.”

Tommy’s eyes widened in amazement. “Whoa! You have wings? That’s poggers!”
     “Thanks. Now back to business.”
“Oh yeah! Sorry, Big Q! Anyway, who was your first lover?”
     “Eret.”
     “Not Schlatt?”
“Nope. Our relationship was before the SMP. When I got Schlatt into power… things got messy. Election Night. We were to be married. I thought…”
     “You thought what?”
“I thought they were dead. That they were a ghost. Proved myself wrong, though. I… killed them that day.” Quackity stared at the papers in front of him.
     “Oh. Sorry about that.”
“It’s alright. It wasn’t your fault.”

“What was your relationship with Eret like?” Tommy asked, trying to hopefully make things more cheerful.

“I don’t remember, actually. I remember the one thing I liked the most about them, though. Their eyes. It looked like white blanks in their eyes,” Quackity answered.
     “Whoa.”
     “Yeah.”
     “So can we continue?”

Quackity looked at the clock. “Sorry, Tommy. Next time? I need to meet someone soon.”
     “Oh. That’s okay! I understand.”
     “Thanks.”

Just as Tommy was about to to open the door to leave, Quackity stopped him. “Hey, Tommy, just so you know, the next one is Schlatt.”
     “Oh— Okay. Bye, Big Q!”

Once Tommy really did leave, Quackity sent his fiancé a message.

Quackity: WILBUR
Wilbur: What
Quackity: We need to go say sorry to Tubbo and Ranboo
Wilbur: OK meet me outside Las Nevadas
Quackity: See you

“Do they know we’re going there?” Wilbur asked, walking next to Quackity.

“I’m not sure if I told Tubbo or not,” Quackity admitted.
     “Q!”
“What? You know how busy my schedule can get.”
     “We’re already near Snowchester.”
“They wouldn’t mind a few surprise guests, would they?”

Arriving at Tubbo and Ranboo’s mansion, Quackity was about to knock on the door when a young girl opened it from the inside and waved hello. “Hi, Mr. Quackity!”
"Hello, Selene. Are your parents here?"
"Mhm! Uh, Phil and Uncle Techno are here too, though."
"Oh, okay. Can you tell them that we're here?"
"Alright! Come in; it's really cold outside."

Selene walked towards the living area where Tubbo, Ranboo, Techno, and Phil were. “Bee, Boo, more visitors!"

When Quackity saw Phil, he noticed a growing rage in Wilbur's eyes.
"Wil," he whispered, "calm down. Please? I really don't want us to get in any more trouble with Phil and Techno."

"You know I'm still mad at Phil. Techno I don't mind, but Phil? No promises," Wilbur whispered back, clenching his fist.

Quackity's voice went back to normal. "Um... sorry about last night, Tubbo. Wilbur"—Quackity slapped Wilbur's clenched fist, receiving a small noise of complaint from the taller—"got angry, that's all."

"Yeah, I got angry, I'm still fucking pissed at you, Phil," Wilbur yelled.

His use of words gave him a frown from Quackity, who covered Selene's ears. Quackity mouthed some words to Tubbo, who nodded. The duck hybrid held Selene's hand and the two went upstairs.

Once the two were in the girl's room, Selene took one look at Quackity and asked, "Mr. Quackity, do you not like it when people yell and swear at the same time? I saw this weird look in your eyes that reminded me of when Bee gets scared."
"Yeah. You're right about that part."
"Would it be ok with you I went down and tried to get Mr. Wilbur to stop yelling? I wouldn't mind, I've dealt with Uncle Tommy before."
"You sure, kiddo? Wilbur can be a little... harsh when he's angry, especially with his dad."
"Yeah! I can handle it! I'm a big girl now!"

This made Quackity smile a little. “Alright, then."
“See you in a bit, Mr. Quackity!"

Selene left the room and headed to the living room, where Phil and WIlbur were involved in a heated argument. Frowning, she cleared her throat and pointed and the two.
"Stop arguing and yelling. And you"—she walked in front of Wilbur—"stop cursing so much. It makes Mr. Quackity scared."

After realizing what she said, Wilbur grabbed Selene by the wrist just as she was about to leave. "Wait. Take me to him."

With a simple nod, Selene said, "Follow me" and went to Quackity.

The door was wide open. Wilbur saw Quackity sitting against the wall, his eyes glistening with tears. “Duckling?"

Quackity recognized the pet name almost immediately. "W-Wilbur...?"

He got up and rushed into WIlbur's arms, crying.

"Hey... it's okay, it's okay... I'm here," Wilbur whispered.

He walked away from the room, mouthing a simple "thank you" to Selene when he saw her, then sat down on the landing. Quackity was quick to rest his head on Wilbur's shoulder.

"Thank you, Wilbur. For everything," Quackity mumbled before going completely silent.

At the bottom of the stairs was Ranboo. "Are you two going to stay here for tonight?"

Wilbur glanced at Quackity, who fell asleep on his shoulder. He nodded.

"Okay. I'll go tell Tubbo," Ranboo said, leaving.

Quackity woke up with a start. Checking his surroundings, he let out a sigh of relief when he saw Wilbur next to him.

"Wilbur? Where are we? Did Techno and Phil leave? What time is it?" Quackity whispered, shaking the other awake.

Half-asleep, Wilbur sat up in the bed. "Slow down, Q. We're still in Snowchester. Techno and Phil left after you fell asleep on my shoulder when we were on the stairs. As for the time, I don't know."
     "We should go back soon."
"Okay. Ranboo and I need to open our burger van again, anyway."
"What about Techno and Phil? Will they go?"
"Techno said he wouldn't mind setting rivalries aside for this, but Phil..."
     "He's still mad?"
     "Yeah. Honestly, I don't care."
     "We should go now."

Wilbur nodded, following Quackity out. Seeing Tubbo and Ranboo in the kitchen, Quackity waved goodbye to the two.

"Big Q, you're leaving already?" Tubbo asked.

     "Yeah," Quackity answered.

There was a look of shock on his face when Tubbo ran to him and hugged him tightly. "See you Quackity! Bye, Wilbur!"

Quackity smiled as he turned his back on Snowchester and headed for Las Nevadas with Wilbur.
