Gamer Deku AU
Inko and Hisashi are divorced in this AU, but are on good terms and Izuku can go freely from one house to another. It's a little difficult for shared custody because Hisashi lives in America, but he's also rich, so it's not that big of an issue. Izuku has friends outside of UA (he still got OFA and everything), five of them, who live in different parts of the world (side note, they're all the same age). Izuku's nickname is Izzy, and his username is Queer_Broccoli. This is a poly Dekusquad AU, so he's bisexual and polyamorous. (Dekusquad being him, Uraraka, Iida, Todoroki, Tsu, and Shinsou.)
Kayla Runner- a white lesbian trans woman who is also rich, she lives in America. Shoulder length wavy magenta hair and gold eyes with black rimmed glasses. Pale skin. Quirkless. Nickname is Kay, username is Quirkless_Queer.
Madison Truman- Kayla's African American lesbian girlfriend. Dark skin, curly black hair. Her quirk is Kaleidoscopic Eyes, she can change her eye color at will. Nickname is Maddie, username is Rainbow_Queer.
Samuel Lopez- Nonbinary (He/They), Pansexual, and Polyamorous. Short brown hair, black eyes. Mexican American. Quirkless. Nickname is Sammy, username is Queer_Quirkless.
Mercury La Croix- Agender (They/Them), Omnisexual, and Polyamorous. Pale skin, short curly dark blue hair, light blue eyes, freckles. French. Quirk is Chess Board, can summon a chess board and pieces at will. Nickname is Emmy, username is Gender_Not_Found_Queer.
Riku Onise- Genderfluid, Queer, and Polyamorous. Pale skin, armpit length auburn hair and green eyes, freckles. Japanese. Uses different colored bracelets to express which pronouns they are currently using. Quirk is Puppeteer, five finger contact with another person allows them to control said person's body. Nickname is Rikie, username is Queer_Poltergeist.
They have a group chat called the Triple Threats (they're all depressed, anxious, and gay). They're all gamers and play games online with each other as often as possible, since they can't always see each other in person. Izuku's parents are cool with it, so even if Izuku isn't at whichever house they're at, they can always invite themselves into his homes. For the record, Izuku's dad has a mansion, he's a quirk scientist and he sells hero merch.
So, 1-A isn't aware of Izuku's other friends or his dad or his wealth. Until they take a field trip to America (Shinsou being in class 1-A in this AU and Mineta not existing). The hotel they booked scammed them, so now they don't have a place to stay. That's fine, though, because Izuku's house is a mansion, everybody can fit no problem. He doesn't explain anything, just says "I know a place, come on". 1-A is confused, but they trust him. So they follow him to this huge house, and they aren't really sure they should be going inside, but Izuku waltzes right in so they don't have much a choice. Izuku is multilingual (he has friends from other countries, he can speak English, French, and Spanish as well as Japanese), and he just calls out "I'm Home" in a different language, and none of his classmates understand. He didn't even necessarily mean for it to come out in another language, it just did. Izuku's dad pops out if his office for a minute, sees the group of people behind his son, and just shrugs. He lets Izuku know his friends are up in his room.
Upon meeting said friends, 1-A is even more confused. Eventually Aizawa just uses his capture scarf on Izuku and tells him to explain.
