Nothing Will Ever Be the Same
"Hey, Andy," Amy said to her assistant and intern, going down to her lab.
"Hey! Did you see the craziness?" the young man asked as he watched Tony Stark and Rhodey get their medals. "I can't believe Star Girl didn't get a medal for all she did."
Amy hid her smile, seeing a box. "I'm sure she has a day job. Where did this come from?"
"I don't know. It was just here. I'm gonna go clean up the Easter Island Head."
Amy sat down at her desk, flipping through the box. It was a bunch of old films and photos of Howard and the Howling Commandos. Inside was also a note.
Dear Aunt Amy,
Pepper told me I should be more cultured, so I am donating these to the Natural History so you can jumpstart your exhibit. It think my old man would be proud of all that you've done. Inside is also a check to help fund the project.

Amy's eyes nearly bugged out of her head when she saw the large amount of zero's on the check. Smiling, she turned on the radio, and switched it over to the police scanner. Maybe Star Girl will make more public appearances. There's always something happening in New York and the world. Unbeknownst to her in the next several years, a hammer fell from the sky as well as a Norse God, and a man turned himself into a raging green monster. Nothing will ever be the same again.
