When Adrianna picked up the call there was only one thing going through her mind. Please don’t be a creepy caller; she didn’t need to look more suspicious than she already was. Plus not only would it creep her out it would confuse her because why would anyone send her here? She was practically the most useless person in the world (well one of many worlds). If they wanted someone who would make a change why not bring Greta Thunberg instead or possibly anyone else except her? She had a lot of things to do before she could be ripped away from her world to be thrown into a new one.

“Bitch why didn’t you answer the phone?” Adrianna let out a sigh of relief that it was Ming, her best friend. It was good to hear her voice,” No reception remember.” Adrianna lied she was smiling now she never thought she would be able to hear her voice again,” Fucking planes. Are you still joining the zoom meeting?” Right the Zoom meeting since they were all on holiday and were having a meeting to discuss something.
“Yeah, hold on, let me get my iPad.” Adrianna dug through the bag. She hadn’t noticed that May had put her gun down and the fact that most of the people had gone back to carrying on their conversations. But Fury was still looking at her and so was Natasha.
“They started already?” Adrianna could hear Bed of Lies playing through her phone. She didn’t hear anything less than Ming playing music and the sound of shuffling outside her room,” Yeah I just have them on mute. I gotta tell you something but in Russian.” Adrianna knew it was good tea when they had to switch languages,” Hold on let me set this shit up then we can get into it.” Adrianna got quick to work; she pulled up the link and turned off the camera.
“Aye look, you joined yall.” Naya's words made Adrianna smile she loved her Naya was always confident in the way she carried herself and Adrianna loved that about her especially since she was a dark skin woman in a world that was anti-black and full of colorist,” Yeah I know y'all was bored without me.” he heard a couple of “Bitch please” and some “you funny asf”.
“This bitch think she so important. Like i was saying Ms. Miller is bugging all this work and then she is complaining that she doesn't get time to grade like who’s fault is that? Cuz it’s definitely not mine.” After that Adrianna put the zoom meeting on mute she just really wanted to know what Ming had to say.
“So what happened?” Adrianna knew it could be one or 2 things drama from school or the fact that now since Ming was at her dad’s something happened and they couldn’t speak in Chinese, Mandarin, or Japanese and Korean because he understood them all and spoke some,”You know Bianca apparently she’s pregnant from that senior Denzel and bitch his ex girlfriend is apparently pregnant too and I believe it because before I left New York i saw her and she looked pregnant. Now they both wanna fight but after the babies are born.”
Adrianna had seen Denzel and Bianca kissing shit she had seen them almost about to fuck in staircase C but she did not know that they were actually messing with each other,” Damn I didn’t know they was fucking. And he talking about he want me to spend my sophomore year with them because he wanna get closer.” Adrianna snorted as she clicked on Ming’s message and watched the the beat down it was brutal and very unnecessary she could’ve just kicked Bianca out end of the story, Adrianna knew that Bianca’s mom would double back when she had the baby but she hoped Bianca didn’t let her back in.
“Yeah she was doing too much.”

“As for him tell me why my dad ask them same like lets be so fucking for real right now that’s not happening. And My mom tryna say it will be good, that's why the whole moving thing is just for us kids, not for them, they tryna get a year off of being parents.” And now since her father was divorcing her stepmom he thought this would be a good opportunity to bond and get closer and also give her mom a break.

Adrianna unmuted the zoom call she was meet by the instant overlapping of voice and shouting she could make out somethings people were saying but some not,”What are yall all screaming about?” Adrianna slowed down the volume of the ipad,’They said that Hawkeye was the best show so far in the MCU phase 4.” Adrianna hadn’t watched the show she only watched the episodes Yelena appeared in so her opinion could be bias,”Clint has a show?” Tony muttered as he heard the news he knew he had 4 movies but why didn’t he have a show.
“I personally thought it was boring because of the first episode plus to me they aged up his kids so much and the actors who played the 2 oldest were horrible. They needed to take a page out of the casting for Ginny and Georgia cuz that was not it. I also think Clint's character was boring and I was rooting for him to be killed. Also you kind of knew that Kate’s mom was doing some shit because she said they were broke when the Loki attack happened then suddenly they got money and can pay for shit. But again I can’t judge. I only watch like 2 out of all 6 episodes, and I don’t like Kate but that's the fandom's fault.”
Adrianna knew the people at the table wouldn’t like what she had to say but then again she was tired of having a gun to her head and being threatened to be shot because if they weren’t gonna do it might as well shut the fuck up and move along. Personally, she herself was tired of being alive,’ Who’s going to kill Clint?” Adrianna chuckled of course Natasha would ask her that it was ironic and funnier than it should be,” How would I know I never finished the show.” She really didn’t if she couldn’t watch through the first episode and was highly bored she was not finishing it at all maybe even never,” Bullshit you know.’’ She did but she didn’t owe Natasha a damn thing.

“To be honest the reason most people watched was because of 2 people anyway not because of Clint Barton himself. I too was like someone killed him.” Deja who was just as crazy for the MCU added she couldn’t get into Clint but she loved him in the comics.
“Okay whatever but did yall hear on the news that they found a girl's body. She likes our age, they think it was a hit and run but they also said the way she died was brutal.”

“I never understood why he went around killing criminals that had nothing to do with the death of his family. Like sir, your friends are right there if you're gonna be mad at someone ,and at your friends.” Devon added he wasn’t an MCU crazy but he didn’t tune in to the movies when they came out and when he could watch them but he was never trying to keep up with it a lot.

That Nazi bitch.” Oh that was going to make some people mad and Adrianna loved it,’No because she literally the whole reason Hydra was able to infiltrate Shield. Like why would you trust your enemy? It doesn’t matter what you think an enemy can never become a friend, especially if the whole heartedly believes in their ideology.” Grace who was probably the one of the few white people in their school added maybe it was because she was Jews or that she actually really despised Peggy but what she said wasn’t beyond the truth.
“That’s actually a really valid point.” Daisy wasn’t big on Shield history but Jenna was and she told Daisy everything she found and she remembered Jemma mentioned Peggy Carter doing that,” So we should've just let them be free instead?” May asked, turning to Adrianna, the one who started this discussion,” No but she didn’t need to let them in either, did she? “Okay, that's true. But why do people hate golden boys over there?” Tony agreed he was probably the most guilty out of the whole group who never thought about consequences but he wasn’t the only one they all were guilty of something even if they never said it out loud.
“To be honest all the Avengers are bad they’ve all killed someone or they’ve done some fucked up shit. But every one of Steve Roger's fans thinks that he's the best thing in the world when he too has done some fucked up shit but barely anyone says anything because he's Captain America. And Nomad Steve is the best-looking Steve in the MCU. Cuz regular him is just not it .”

“He really is just a regular white guy though. But Nomad told him that man was something else.”
Adrianna nodded she never hated superheroes but she did live for the villains most of the time she liked them because they made sense to her, they also had killer fashion sense. But now as she got older she knew why she liked the villains more hen superheroes she could relate to them most of the times if they weren’t pure evil. But superheroes were seen as the great things and she did too but they had faults that were so rare to point out especially when it came to the Avengers they weren’t perfect but somehow everyone ignored that depending on who they liked.
Adrianna didn’t get to say goodbye or get a last word in before the zoom call started glitching she knew her time was out but it felt good for the last 20 minutes that she got to talk to people she spent a lot of time with and one of her closest friends, her sister they had been raised together for years and it broke Adrianna’s heart when got the news that she died.
It would be a roller coaster for everyone even her to see a world away from how her “death” will affect everyone she loves, she would miss out on so many things that she thought she would be able to see because she had more time, she told herself she wasn’t going to give up yet she wasn’t going to kill herself and do that to her family. But now someone else did it for her just when she vowed to be better, no more partying, sneaking out, running away. If her mom could be better than the mother she had thought she lost so long ago, why couldn’t she do the same?
But now she couldn’t try anything, she was just going to be her parents' disappointment, and she was going to be another loss in the family that had enough death and heartbreak. Now her mother and father lost 2 daughters and there was nothing she could do. It made her eyes sting and her throat burns and it didn’t matter how much she blinked or swallowed it was still there.
“I'm not hungry anymore.” She knew her voice cracked but she didn’t care she gathered up the bags she came here with and hopped out of the booster seat she knew they were watching her but she couldn’t care she had to get away she hated when people saw her cry if they did see her it made her cry harder.
“The girl one of those kids mentioned it was her wasn’t it?” Sam had waited for Adrianna to disappear down the hall to the elevator before he even spoke,” Probably? Kids not gonna leave her room for days.” Mack gathered up his plates and Yo-yos before he left. They were planning on spending the day together.
“This was amazing. Lovely conversations.” Tony got up followed by Pepper things went probably worse than anyone cloud expect it. They all definitely had a lot of things to think about.
