The boys had said that they were going to clean up since the ladies had helped make dinner it was just the girls for a while them just talking in their own groups there was May, Bobbi, Maria, and Natasha catching up and complaining about the stupid things the men in their life did, then there was Pepper, Jemma, Daisy, and Yo-Yo who were getting to know each other and were finding that they got along great and then there was Adrianna and Wanda were talking Adriannna showing Wanda things on her phone and even helped her download Insta and showed her how everything worked they even took a couple of photos.
But it didn’t take them long for the boys to join them in the living room, they had been sitting there all together for a good 10 minutes before Tony had been getting several dirty looks from everyone until he rolled his eyes,” Hey kid,” Tony called out towards Adrianna who turned to look at him,” We have something to tell you.” Tony because if he was going down they were all coming with him.
“Okay?”
“You’re not kicking her out, right?” Wanda looked up from the baby book, she didn’t know what the adults had been talking about while Adrianna was sleeping but she knew it wasn’t good by the way Natasha walked out of the meeting,” No it’s nothing like that.” Steve told Wanda although she didn’t believe him she might be on good terms with the Avengers but they could still change their minds any minute.
“Then what is it?”
“Calm down little witch no one getting kicked out. We need to discuss you staying here and your future here in this universe.”
“Okay?” Adrianna was so confused and kinda irritated that it was being dragged out,” We can’t send you back home is what he means.” Maria tells her,” Oh I know.” Adrianna turns back to her bag; she knew the minute she saw them she wasn’t going back home.
“Wait, you know?” Daisy didn’t get how this girl knew about everything,” Yeah I can’t call or text anyone the line broke off when I was talking to my mom plus I came out of nowhere.” Adrianna explained,” Okay moving on do you have any documents that say you’re an actual person?” Maria asked them to prove to the government that she was an actual person and to get her a citizenship or something.
“No, my mom has my passport and everything else like that.”
“You remember your social security number?”
“No.”
“Seriously?” Mack said his mother had him mesmerized his social security and her’s along with a bunch of other stuff by the time he was 14 years old
“I never had to.”
“Okay, where were you born?”
“Russia.”
“You’re not an American citizen?” Pepper asked
“My father was in the US when my mom gave birth legally making me an American citizen.”
“We can use you being born in Russia and say your records got lost.” Natasha said to the group it’s what they were doing with Wanda anyway,” But won’t you miss your family?” Jemma asked if the kid seemed calm and if she was in her shoes when she had gone to an alien planet. She missed her team and her family more than anything.
“Yeah but only time will tell if I will or not,” Adrianna said she had so much family she couldn’t even count them and more siblings than she could handle she enjoyed break’s away from them as much as she could get. And if she did miss them like she sometimes did, being away from them coming back home just made her not miss them anymore.
“How old are you anyway?’ Bobbi asked,” Right now? 7. What day is it?”
“June 10th of 2015.”
“Yeah, I’m 7.”
“I can conclude that this meeting is adjourned.” Tony said as he clapped his hands and went back to talking to Fitz and Mack,” I need to get on Tik Tok.” Adrianna said to herself she hadn’t been on the app for hours like any other gen z teen she was obsessed with the app.
“What the hell is so special about the clock app?” Daisy asked out of nowhere,” The app that tells time?” Natasha asked confused,” No, not that the tick-tack app in Arianna’s world.” Daisy explained, causing Adrianna to scoff,” First off it’s Tik Tok, not tick tack get it straight, second, it’s an addiction.” Adrianna said as she pulled out her phone,” Is there any way to project this thing?” Adrianna fostered wildly to the air,” Yeah give me.” Adrianna handed her phone to Daisy who connected the phone to the projector. Adrianna really didn’t know how the technology worked here.
“Thank you.” Adrianna scrolled through her phone before she got to the Tick Tock the first thing to appear was an ad for Black Widow which Adrianna skipped immediately she didn’t know how much everyone knew about Natasha’s past and she really rather not be the one to expose it since she exposed everything else.
“Why did you skip the ad?” May said she didn’t trust Adrianna, the girl would have to gain her trust before May gave it to her blindly, she did that one she won’t do it again.
“It’s not important.”
“Then why did you skip it?” Bobbi was now also integrating Adrianna,” I have an attention span of 5 seconds tops. It wasn’t important.” Adrianna turned back to the TikTok anybody who knew her knew for a small person Adrianna had anger issues more than anyone thought her tiny self could carry.
“Wait this is what you’re so addicted to?” Sam said he didn’t see why the app was so popular; they had been watching 10 minutes of these videos. He admits the videos were entertaining and there were funny skits.
“You haven’t even gotten to the good parts. We have your just all old and tasteless.” Adrianna's comment caused Wanda and the younger agents to laugh,” I have taste but for the rest, I can’t speak for.” Tony said, insulted by the 7-year-olds comment that he could have fun with his other teammates, they were questionable.
“We are not old.” Sam protested he was still in his prime and he would be damned if a 14-year-old who could barely reach a shelf now was going to tell him he’s old.
“Did it hurt your feelings? Huh, Sammy did a 14-year-old hurt your feelings?” Adrianna teased as she looked at Sam who was scowling,” I’m not falling for that trap kid.” Sa told the kid that sat on the floor with a very proud smirk of=n her face.
The next video turned out to be an edit of Natasha,” What is this?'' the question was aimed at Adrianna,” It’s an edit.'' Adrianna explained in a tone that read very much ‘duh’,” I know but why?'' Natasha didn’t get why people in Adrianna's world would do that for her,” Because people like you and want to edit you.” Adrianna really didn't get what was so hard to understand about the edits; she herself had a few being that she was semi-popular on TikTok and had a few youtube videos out and her family had a family channel.
“But why?”
“ Well most of them are gay and want you to marry them the rest fell in love with you in iron Man 2 since you were the first female superhero that was introduced into the MCU,” Adrianna explained and it did make sense but Natasha wasn’t used to this apparition she never got any here she did have her small group of fans but everyone was more focused on her teammates and some people saw her as a ruthless killer after the fall of Shield and didn’t think she deserved to be on the team.
“Aww that’s cute. Red has her own fan base.” Tony commented which only led to Pepper hitting him in the arm,” What all I’m saying is that she deserves her fans even if they think she’s fake.” Tony said as she rubbed his arm Pepper shaking her head.
'Wait do they make edits for all of us?'' Sam asked curious to see his own edits he bet he looked good,” Yeah everyone here has edits of them.'' Adrianna explained,” Really? Everyone here?” May asked, not believing what the kid was saying, who would make an edit of her showing her appreciation.
“Yeah among other things.”
“So can we see them?”
“Umm… no.”
“Why not? Are they bad? Natasha didn't look bad.” Coulson said
“Yeah, that one wasn’t bad the other ones are cringe and something out of this world… literally.”
“How bad is it?”
“Not bad if they weren’t about you but they are and… let’s just not do that,” Adrianna said as she got flashbacks of the cringe Y/N povs and the things that happened (she wasn’t throwing shade at people who did them they to work but they were cringe and overused sounds and scenarios) just made her want to unsee that and die.
“If you say so.” Daisy saw how uncomfortable Adrianna was at the thought of them seeing the edits but that didn’t mean she wouldn’t try to see them.
They had been going well; there had been edits of the other Avengers and AOS crew and some Wanda ones that made Wanda feel like she wasn’t a monster and some more about Natasha. Looking at the time Natasha realized hours had passed and it was 10 pm,” Yeah enough of this it’s bedtime.” Her words were directed at Wanda and Adrianna, both girls scowling.
“Jesus you weren’t kidding when you said it was an addiction.” Mack said, realizing that his legs felt cramped from how long he had stayed in one position,” Remind me never to get on that app again.” Fitz told Jemma as he helped her up they were supposed to be doing some work at the labs before they got hypnotized by Tik Tok. The couple waved goodbye to everyone as soon as more people left, Mack and Yo-yo, Bobbi and Hunter, Daisy, May and Culson, Pepper and Tony, Fury and Maria.
“See you all in the morning,” Steve said excusing himself only leaving Natasha, Sam, Wanda, and Adrianna left in the living room,” I was being serious when I said it’s bedtime.” Natasha reminds the 2 girls that were still engrossed in watching Tik Toks,” One more please.”
“Nope, bedtime. Come on everyone has gone to bed.” Natasha had pried the phone out of Adrianna’s hands turning it off,” Yeah plus I’m sure you can watch more of it tomorrow.” Sam said, also getting up,” Leave the phone.”
“But I have to charge it.” Adrianna told Natasha,” How about I put it in charge and we leave it here and you can get it in the morning?” Sam suggested seeing how tired Natasha was,” The charge is in the backpack.”
“Great let's go.” Natasha escorted the 2 girls to the elevator mouthing a thank you towards Sam as he went to plug in the phone in one of the many outlets that he found. He didn’t get why teenagers were so infatuated with their phones that they couldn’t even put it down for a second.
