The Avengers were sitting with Nick Fury and Maria Hill who were not looking a slight bit guilty about keeping Phil being alive from them, the ones most hurt were Natasha, Clint, and Tony who knew Phil the most, "So Adrianna was telling the truth." Sam said since no one was saying anything and since Natasha and Clint starring contest between Fury and Maria was getting weird and was not only making him uncomfortable but also everyone else who wasn't part of the intense starring consent," The real question is how did she know? Who is Thanos? Is he a possible threat to the world? And if Adrianna is a threat?" Fury said breaking no longer looking at Natasha or Clint.
"She's not a threat," Wanda said she liked Adrianna she reminded her of Pietro and she would make sure that this time she protected those dear to her and that was Adrianna. Adrianna who was in a very different universe was getting her hair done in some box braids while she was watching Avengers movies.
"We don't know that Wanda. She could be a spy for all we know." Natasha said she wanted to believe Adrianna wasn't a threat but nothing had came up about her when they searched with the little information they had about her they had found nothing.
"She's fourteen she's just a kid." Wanda protested
"And she could be lying about her age for all we know, Maximoff. You don't even know what she looks like." Fury said

Adrianna was being called by her mom and it wasn't the usual slurred calls she was sober she had been for 4 days now Adrianna was used to this her mother getting sober actual being her mom it would last for 2 maybe 3 months before she started drinking again but during those months Adrianna would taking in every moment she had with her mother sober and when she was single it was better, "Да мама." They went to a restaurant and Adrianna knew the drill they didn't want them to make a scene or argue with them so they always took them out in public," So whats do u have to tell us?" Vixen asked Adrianna knew she was mad they loved living in New York even if it could be ghetto at times it was still home," We're moving to Adrianna's father's estate." Her mother said it wasn't really her father's estate it was the family estate everyone lived there well mostly all her family.

"Because he asked." Her mom answered shortly but Adrianna knew it was bullshit. She known for a while that her mother and father had an on again off again affair even if he was still married,' Whatever you say Ma." Adrianna said," What do you mean whatever you say Ma." Her mom asked," Is he even divorcing her yet?"

"Look you won't miss anything here Morgan and her mom are moving too and your babushka is coming too." Adrianna's aunt said as if that was supposed to make it better Her aunt Morgan's mom didn't live in the estate they always went for the holidays and summer unless they were planning a trip to D.R. for the summer.
"When do we leave?" Vixen asked
"3 weeks." Her mother said and that was all it took for Adrianna to level the restaurant she didn't care if she would get in trouble later she just felt too trapped and she didn't like feeling trapped she felt hopeless and she didn't like being hopeless because being hopeless meant she was weak and she was weak even if she tried to pretend she wasn't.
Adrianna let the tears fall sometimes she didn't need a reason to cry her life was so fucked up she had many reasons to cry so she cried for everything that was wrong she cried for the people who left her, the people who died, for feeling like a failure, for being a disappointment, for never being good enough, she cried until she was empty of tears until she felt numb again. When she could no longer be numb she will cry again because that's all she can do or maybe she won't cry next time.
