Adrianna had really wanted to keep talking to Widow but her mother's newest boyfriend was calling her and she knew if she didn't come right away Patrick would come into her room and beat the shit out of her and then her mother would too and she was just recovering from the last beating and was not in the mood for another. Walking to the living room which reeked of alcohol and cigarettes Patrick and her mom were on the couch watching some type of show she didn't care about.
"You called sir," Adrianna said she had to address him as sir which was better than Kevin her mother's last boyfriend who wanted her to call him dad which she refused to do.
"I'm hungry, start cooking I want mac 'n cheese and fry some chicken," Patrick said not even turning to look at her
"Yes, sir," Adrianna said as she rolled her eyes she had been cooking since she was 6 since her mother only cooked when she pleased Adrianna had to learn and that she did, she went to school on her own sometimes her grandparents would take her if they weren't too busy but they used to live in New Jersey and even then it was rare.
Adrianna cooked for them, she even served them before going back to wash the dishes she knew it was pointless since she would have more dishes to wash but washing dishes was sorta of like meditation for her when she was done Patrick nor her mom had called her for anything she left the kitchen and went back to her room. She wasn't allowed to eat at her mother's house not unless her mother says so and she didn't mind. She was never hungry and learned to get used to not eating and she could always order herself food but she didn't want to make her credit card bills suspicious, not that she thinks her dad would care. Adrianna didn't have any homework since she had done homeschooling for 2 years and knew how to use her time wisely but that didn't mean she hated zoom classes any less than the last kid she didn't attend classes for weeks most times so she could hide the bruises from her teachers not that they cared she was the student who was quiet in class and teachers took that as she was the quiet girl but they couldn't be more wrong she's loud, funny, outspoken, honest and she doesn't take anyone bullshit and teachers think she's an easy target mainly because she's the girl in a grade that is 2 years above her own and she's the quiet girl who sits in the back and gets good grades. Deciding to try her cousin's number again and she prayed she got it right this time.

Wanda was sad Adrianna had to go. She liked her and she was the only friend Wanda had since she moved to America. The Avengers didn't like her and she didn't blame them after what she did she would also keep her distance but she has never felt more alone in her life until now, she's always had Pietro but now Pietro was gone and she was all alone in a strange place with people who hate her. Wanda really wished Vision had left her in Sokovia that way she could've been with her family, she knows Clint feels guilty he's the only one who doesn't hate her he even named his son after Pietro and Wanda was honored, Steve tried to be nice but she knew every time he smiled at her it was forced and he was still scared of her, Sam and Rhodey who were new to the team never really talk to her, Tony keeps his distances which she is fine with, Natasha mentors her but never talks to her outside of training and Wanda doesn't blame her Wanda had shown her the worst of her past.
Taking Adrianna's suggestion she started watching Criminal Minds, she wasn't worried about anyone coming to look for her no one ever really checked up on her, and to save herself from living through awkward situations she skipped meals with the team and no one really commented on it or even asked her to join them, she eats when no one was in the kitchen it was better that way and she avoids the tension when she ran into one of the Avengers, they didn't even know her real age which she's okay with because if they found out she wasn't really 18 she knew they would kick her out in the streets in no time.
