Chapter 1
The ladies loved Tony Stark. He was an attractive, 21 year old MIT student who spent some of his free time teaching young kids at a STEM club at the local school. He was always picking-up girls wherever he went to the point where he rarely called a single one back. He had a piece of paper he carried around with him on which he would write their phone number but it was so full he never really took the time to read it. When he wasn’t studying, teaching or being a man-whore, Tony Stark would be in his workshop building or improving random things. His workshop was the one place no one else was able to go and he would always keep it that way, never inviting anyone inside. The only time anyone else was in there was when it was being built and something about that was a huge comfort to Tony.
Stark wasn’t just a ladies man though. It was known to most people that he was bisexual, considering he often didn’t make it back to a private place before diving on to his companions and one time he was caught with a guy in a small alleyway. Tony arguably preferred being with men but there was still so much hate towards gay relationships that most men wouldn’t accept an invitation from Tony even if they really wanted to (which, of course, they all did) because he was known to almost everyone in the town so they didn’t want to risk word spreading.
Tony was driving down the road in his convertible, red sports car when he saw a beautiful woman walking ahead of him. He lazily parked the car and ran over to her, walking at her side.
“Hi, I’m Tony Stark.”
The brunette was even more beautiful up close. She had dark skin which didn’t appear to have a single pour in it, her natural hair was shoulder length and she had the smile of a goddess. That was all Tony knew though as she didn’t bother to actually reply to him.
“Has anyone ever told you that you radiate beauty and your smile could blind a small village.”
“Only people who are trying to sleep with me.” She glanced at him for a moment.
“Well, is that such a bad thing?” Tony inquired
“It’s worse that it initially seems.”
“I think we really have a connection. I don’t want to seem so forward but would it be at all possible to get your number?”
“You don’t even know my name.”
“What’s your name?” His held her arm to stop her from walking any further.
“Abena.” She turned to face to young man.
“Now I know your name, can I get your number?” Tony smirked.
She analysed him for a moment before agreeing to write her number down in a small gap on his crowded piece of paper. As she did so, Tony looked across the street to see a beautiful blond walking in his direction. He was frozen for a moment, stunned and shocked that he had never seen this person before. He was tall, cute and muscular - the kind of person Tony would have known. Abena barely had the chance to finish writing before Tony snatched the list out of her hand, yelling ‘thank you’ back to her as he ran across the road to meet the mysterious stranger. Tony never approached men in this way before, but this guy would never have talked to him if he hadn't, and Tony needed to know more about him.
“Hi, I’m Tony Stark.”
The man glanced at him for a moment but then back down at the ground in front of him. They kept walking side by side as Tony tried to analyse his face and personality.
“Has anyone ever told you that you have amazing bone structure?” Tony asked.
The blond looked slightly confused at him but still didn’t say anything.
“Seriously! You’re like the perfect specimen. Ideal build and great face in general.” The brunette smiled.
“Yeah, that’s what my 10th grade P.E. teacher used to tell me.” He muttered.
“May I ask you a question?” They both stopped walking.
“As long as it’s personal.” The man responded, still looking away from Tony.
“That’s a great answer.” Tony smirked
“So what’s your question.” The mystery man finally made eye contact with him.
For a moment, Tony was lost in the magical blue orbs in front of him and forgot how to talk.
“Uh, yeah, um, why are you carrying a magazine with 2 men making out on the cover?”
“They’re for a friend.” The welcoming look on the man’s face disappeared and he walked away from Tony.
Tony looked at him unsure for a moment, before following after him.
“May I ask you another question? What do you think about me coming up to you so bravely and complementing you?”
“I think that it’s only going to go down from here.”
“You underestimate the power of fate when two strangers meet. What’s your name?” Tony smiled.
“Steve.” The blonde tried to hide the fact he was now smiling a bit too.
“That’s a great name. May I ask one final question? If this stranger were to say something like ’Steve, I think you’re the most alluring, attractive, mysterious and erotic man I have ever met and I must make love to you immediately.’ What would you say?” Tony stared at the blonde.
“I’d say you’re blind and insane and goodbye.” Steve looked away from him.
“You wouldn’t want to find out if you liked him?”
“I know whether I like someone the second I see them.”
“That’s not true.” Tony stopped walking and Steve copied him.
“I’m straight.” Steve defended.
“That’s not true either.” Tony once again brought attention to the magazine.
“What do you have in mind?” Steve let a little smirk appear on his face.
“Follow me.” Tony grinned, leading the blonde to his car.
“I mean it when I say I'm straight so no funny business alright?”
Tony laughed and Steve couldn't help but crack a small smile. They both climbed in to his car and once Tony gave the car a bit of encouragement, they set off to an unknown destination.
