Chapter 6: Bets and reunion
By the time the four of them came to the riverboat and left Giza, they have been riding on it for about six hours with the missionaries, a group of game hunters, and ordinary travelers.
While they were all still riding on it, Wade and tony were in the diner while peter is doing his own thing. Wade sighs, leaning against the chair and rubbing his tummy since he was full from eating.
“Whew, I am so full,” Wade said, licking his lips before looking at tony, who is devouring the food that he’s eating without tasting it.
Wade looked tony in astonished at how he is eating. “Oh God, I am surprised that you’re eating everything besides the table,” He said causing tony to stop and looked up at Wade.
“Well I haven’t eaten when I got out of prison with slatter,” Tony said before taking another bite. “Besides this is the clever move to get more stuffed since there won’t be a diner in the desert,” Wade thought about it for a moment before he huffed.
“That plan of yours sounds ridiculous at the same time interesting” Wade said before tony chuckled a bit.
“It does, doesn’t it?” Tony replied. “I am not forcing you but do you want to eat more before we get to the port then head to humanaptra” He asked as wade swayed his head.
“No I’m cool stark. I am already full that I couldn’t take another single bite” Wade replied before standing up from his chair. “So I am leaving you and your delectable meal” he added.
Tony laughed with a nod. “Yeah yeah, you better go” He replied, waving his hand at wade to leave. Wade laughed too before leaving tony.

Twenty-five minutes later, Tony finished his food, full, relief and satisfied before standing up from his chair and looked up at the chef. “Thanks for the food” He said to the chef, who nodded at him then saw stark leave.
When Tony left the diner, he saw Wade playing poker and drinking with the three slightly rich American Treasure hunters, Aldrich Killian, Aldrian Toomes, and Darren Cross while their consultant, Obidiah Stane was laying on a chair, reading, behind them.
As tony closed the door of the diner, wade heard the door and quickly turned his head away from his card to see tony. “Ah stark, would you like to join and gamble with us?” He asked.
“No thanks Wade, I only gamble with my life, never with my life” Tony replied.
Aldrian huffed, not looking at tony. “Really never? What if I bet you five hundred dollars says we get to Humunaptra before you, Stark?” He dared said as tony widened his eyes in slight shock.
“Fuck yeah we are” Darren added, not looking at tony as well.
“Who says we are” Tony curiously asked before Darren, Aldrich, and Adrian pointed at Wade. “Him” The three of them said causing wade to nervously laugh.
Adrien looked up at Tony with a smirk. “So is it a bet?” He asked as his other friends looked at tony as well. Tony smirked as well. “All right, you’re on,” He said.
Obidiah made a mock huff as he was smoking his cigarette. “What makes you so confident, stark?” He asked. Tony turned to him with a glare. “What about you? What makes you confident that you and these guys can find Humunaptra?” He asked.
“Well we got a man who’s actually been there,” Adrian said. Wade looked at him a shock. “Really st…” Tony “accidentally” hit him with his bag causing wade to wince. “I mean who’s turn is it?” He said with a nervous smile.
“Well we got our wager,” Tony said, saluting them a bit. “So good evening Gentlemen, Wade” He glared in a poisonous tone at wade. Wade to try to look away as Tony then left.

Peter was sitting down at a table, reading a novel book peacefully and quietly. While reading, Peter was startled when tony threw his bag hard on the table.
Tony looked at him with a chuckle. “Oops sorry” He apologized. Peter glared at him with a frown. “You better be or I’ll be teaching you some manners, Mr. stark” He said, before going back to his reading.
Tony smiled nervously at peter, understandably curious if peter is still angry from the kiss. “Are you still angry about that kiss that I gave you in prison” He asked, hearing peter hummed.
Peter looked at him again. “I wouldn’t call that kiss” He said. Tony made a tick-off smile before rapidly spreads out his bag, revealing, guns and bullets.
Peter surprisingly looked down at the weapons that tony brought to the boat. He was curious as why the man who leading to humanaptra brought his weapons. “Are we going to war or something” He curiously, seeing tony sat down on the chair in front of him.
“Kid, there is something out there that I can’t even explain. Something underneath that sand” Tony said while fixing his gun then put it inside his pistol pocket.
Peter nodded. “For me, I am finding this certain ancient book with my brother...What do you think its out there?” He asked curiously.
“Well evil, people believe that Humanaptra is curse” Tony said causing peter to huff in disbelief.
The two of them were still sitting, Peter talked about that he doesn’t believe in curses, wanting to find the book of Amun Ra that has secrets of incantations that was buried in hamunaptra.
Peter also added that it was a dream of his to Egypt ever since he was a kid as a life pursuit and he doesn’t care about the Golden treasures that are buried. Tony talked about going to humanantra to find the treasures since he is after all a treasure hunter.
“Hey Mr. stark, can I asked you something,” Peter asked. Tony hummed, looking at peter while getting a weapon from the spread-out bag.
“Back you were in prison, I was wondering why did you kiss me?” Peter asked slightly blushing as he is determinedly curious on why tony stole his first kiss.
Tony laughed a bit “Well kid, I was about to be hanged so I thought it would be a good idea at that time” He replied. Peter angrily and disappointedly frowned before standing up from his chair before then storming off his book.
Tony turned to see peter storming off. “Hey, why are you walking off? What did I say?” He asked, confused then he heard a familiar voice. “Shit” That voice said.
Tony stood up to see who it was until he found his old “Friend” Justin hammer. He made a creepy smile at him. “Well what do I have here, its my buddy, Justin,” He said
Justin made a made nervous laugh. “H-hey stark, its been a long time. I am glad your alive” He said slightly confident smile.
Tony grabbed Justin's shirt before dragging him up and slammed him against the wall. “Ow, hey!” He said before seeing a gun in front of him. “Oi, think about the children I want to have” He exclaimed.
“I don’t think you will good dad” Tony stated. “Anyway, so your the one leading the wealthy treasure hunters to humanuptra, I might have known.” He said. “So what’s the deal, Hammer? Are you going to take them out in the middle of the desert and leave them to die?”
Justin sighs. “Unfortunately no, these three are smart for rich guys. They said are going to pay me half now and another half when I get them half to Cairo.” He said.
tony nodded before putting back his gun in his pocket. “No wonder,” He said.
“What about you? You never believe in humanaptra, stark? Why are you going back there?” Justin asked before the two hearing a camel making a sound then looked at peter petting it gently.
“You see that kid, he saved my neck,” Tony said. Peter looked back at Tony and Justin before walking away to his cabin.
“I thought you liked women who pleasure your balls, stark? What’s so special about this one?” Justin asked, curiously with a teasing smirk. Tony looked back at with a “smile” and wrapping his arms to “Walk”.
“Well, you see here, hammer. This kid...See ya” Tony throws Justin into the river at the same time, hearing hammer screamed.
“Stark you Asshole!” Justin exclaimed. As Tony was about to enter his cabin, he noticed a set of footprints coming from the port side of the boat and heading to the cabin.
