Summary
Violetshine, from many angles, universes, and perspectives.(or: a series of (mostly) unrelated drabbles about violetshine. because i love her, and because she's important to me. information about each story will be in the author's notes.)
Note
this is going to be different from a lot of my previous works. violetshine is a very important character to me. i wrote this story as a way to get some of my ideas down in a shorter format than usual, and to keep myself busy while i work on other stories.chapter ratings will range from G to T. this isn't a request fic; these are just some oneshots straight from my brain.i hope you enjoy.UPDATE: i realized i should probably put down the names of each song i reference within this story. the title of this fic is from "rolling girl" by wowaka ft. hatsune miku. i will update the notes of each chapter to add what song they're referencing

"Hi!" Violetpaw bounded up to Needletail, eager to see her after spending the whole day by herself. "How was your outing with Rain?"
Her mentor gave her an awkward, somewhat distracted smile. "Good."
Violetpaw's tail sagged, but she pressed on, trying to sound cheerful. "What did you do?"
Needletail shrugged. "We went hunting."
"Did you catch anything good?"
"Yeah," Needletail said, but she didn't elaborate. She just ducked into her den, leaving Violetpaw alone by the remains of the prey pile.
Violetpaw hung her head. Quickly, she padded in the opposite direction, not wanting the others to see her cry.
