Summary
Violetshine, from many angles, universes, and perspectives.(or: a series of (mostly) unrelated drabbles about violetshine. because i love her, and because she's important to me. information about each story will be in the author's notes.)
Note
this is going to be different from a lot of my previous works. violetshine is a very important character to me. i wrote this story as a way to get some of my ideas down in a shorter format than usual, and to keep myself busy while i work on other stories.chapter ratings will range from G to T. this isn't a request fic; these are just some oneshots straight from my brain.i hope you enjoy.UPDATE: i realized i should probably put down the names of each song i reference within this story. the title of this fic is from "rolling girl" by wowaka ft. hatsune miku. i will update the notes of each chapter to add what song they're referencing

Violetshine gazed down at the three wriggling bodies snuggling into her belly, nestling between Rootkit and Needlekit like they were littermates. An odd sense of familiarity washed over her.
Orphans, mother dead and father nowhere to be found. Where had she heard that before?
"When they're weaned, they need to go back to the Sisters," Tree told her. He refused to look directly at the kits as he spoke. "It's where they belong."
She hated him for being right. Still, she held them close, as if that would stop them from slipping through her claws like sand on the shore.
