Summary
Violetshine, from many angles, universes, and perspectives.(or: a series of (mostly) unrelated drabbles about violetshine. because i love her, and because she's important to me. information about each story will be in the author's notes.)
Note
this is going to be different from a lot of my previous works. violetshine is a very important character to me. i wrote this story as a way to get some of my ideas down in a shorter format than usual, and to keep myself busy while i work on other stories.chapter ratings will range from G to T. this isn't a request fic; these are just some oneshots straight from my brain.i hope you enjoy.UPDATE: i realized i should probably put down the names of each song i reference within this story. the title of this fic is from "rolling girl" by wowaka ft. hatsune miku. i will update the notes of each chapter to add what song they're referencing

Violetkit sniffed, blinking back tears. It wasn't fair. Sleekpaw was always being mean to her.
"Don't worry about it," Needlepaw said. "Sleekpaw teases every cat. It's no big deal."
Violetkit wanted to retort that it was a big deal, but Needlepaw's tail on her back made her stiffen. Instinctively, she snuggled up to her like a kit cuddling with her mother. Pinenose never comforted her when she was upset. She was grateful to Needlepaw.
"Besides," the apprentice continued, "she won't hurt you. Not while I'm around, at least."
Violetkit nodded. Needlepaw will protect me, she thought, and she believed it.
