Summary
Violetshine, from many angles, universes, and perspectives.(or: a series of (mostly) unrelated drabbles about violetshine. because i love her, and because she's important to me. information about each story will be in the author's notes.)
Note
this is going to be different from a lot of my previous works. violetshine is a very important character to me. i wrote this story as a way to get some of my ideas down in a shorter format than usual, and to keep myself busy while i work on other stories.chapter ratings will range from G to T. this isn't a request fic; these are just some oneshots straight from my brain.i hope you enjoy.UPDATE: i realized i should probably put down the names of each song i reference within this story. the title of this fic is from "rolling girl" by wowaka ft. hatsune miku. i will update the notes of each chapter to add what song they're referencing

Violetshine settled beside Rootspring, not saying a word. For a while, they sat in silence as he stared at the ground.
Finally, he spoke.
"I know it's selfish, but-" His voice caught in his throat, and it took him a moment to keep speaking. "Sometimes I think that...maybe it would've been better if she survived, even if it meant the end of the Clans."
Violetshine nuzzled him, drawing her tongue over his ear. "I know how you feel," she said. "But she sacrificed herself because she loved you."
Rootspring sniffed, then sobbed, burying his head in her chest fur.
