Summary
Violetshine, from many angles, universes, and perspectives.(or: a series of (mostly) unrelated drabbles about violetshine. because i love her, and because she's important to me. information about each story will be in the author's notes.)
Note
this is going to be different from a lot of my previous works. violetshine is a very important character to me. i wrote this story as a way to get some of my ideas down in a shorter format than usual, and to keep myself busy while i work on other stories.chapter ratings will range from G to T. this isn't a request fic; these are just some oneshots straight from my brain.i hope you enjoy.UPDATE: i realized i should probably put down the names of each song i reference within this story. the title of this fic is from "rolling girl" by wowaka ft. hatsune miku. i will update the notes of each chapter to add what song they're referencing

Pebbleshine watched as Violetpaw ran, Raven in hot pursuit. Nearby, a squirrel nibbled on a nut, unaware of the cats approaching from the bottom of the hill. Pebbleshine crouched; then, as the two cats pounded up the slope, she pounced, leading her prey toward the cat chasing her daughter.
The squirrel darted in front of Raven, causing her to stumble and trip. Violetpaw didn't notice, running until she disappeared behind the hilltop.
If she could breathe, Pebbleshine would have sighed with relief. She may have been unable to interact with the living world, but she could still protect her kit.
