Coming out of rehab wasn't easy, to say the least. He had said no to the halfway house and Luffy had offered for him to say with him as long as he went to AA meetings. He was standing outside waiting for Luffy to pick him up, texting him an hour ago. Right he was about to pull his phone out. a car blasting music came around the curb.
Ace got out of the car smiling, “Glad you’re feeling better man. Sorry, we took so long, Luffy had to clean up his messy ass house and clear the guest room.”
Luffy stumbled out of the car along with sabo,” TRAFFY!!” Luffy ran up to Law hanging off his neck knocking the breath outta him. A soft smile came across his face as He closed his eyes and rested his head on Luffy’s head. God, he missed this so much. Sabo came behind him and rested his hand on his shoulder making Law flinch.
“Let’s leave the tearful reunions for later, The lady in the window is starting to get antsy with just standing here,” Sabo said as he took laws bags to the car, Law following behind him with Luffy hanging on him like a koala.
Ace must have lied when they said they were cleaning the house, because ain't no way they spent an hour cleaning up this place with the number of clothes and shit on the floor, in the back of his mind he was kind of grateful, just sitting around doing nothing wasn’t something he really wanted to do right now.
While helping the brothers clean up his phone went off, he excused himself and went to check his phone in the bathroom, It was the gc with his friends + kid he clicked on it and was scrolling through messages from all the way from 9:20

Sighing and putting his phone away he got out of the bathroom the scent of Chinese food assaulted his nose as he walked down the stairs, Personally, he would never eat that type of food but god he was starving. He got downstairs glad that the house was decent not fully clean but it was better than nothing.
After eating time went by and Law was getting tired they were watching a show. Half asleep his head on someone’s shoulder her heard a soft voice “It’s alright, go to sleep, I'll be here when you wake up” as the person was caressing his head that was the last thing he heard before going into a dreamless sleep.
