Chapter 1

Chapter 1 :Falling
Have you ever sky dived and fell for so long it just became peaceful and you didn't worry about hitting the ground because you had a parachute to catch you. Well I envy you right now because I can't see the bottom I am not wearing a chute and I think Its been more then a few minutes of falling and I am still in free fall with no end in sight.
My name is Buffy Summers and just a few minutes ago I jumped into a rift to close it to save my little sister life. And I am still alive just falling though the void endlessly. I might go mad if there is no end to this. I am even more thankful that Dawn isn't here in my place because she would just fall apart and be so alone. But she has all my friends back home to look after her.

I woke up on the ground having never remembered falling asleep in the first place. I don't know how long I was gone it could have been hours it could have been years for all I know. It was long enough for the ground to feel unreal Under my cheek. The feel of grass, the wind and the sounds of birds and the smell of blooming flowers. Where was I?
I cracked open my eyes and they where crusty and full of grit . The light from the sun was too Brite and overwhelming. I rolled into a tight ball holding my head just breathing in out,, in out until I adjusted to being a person once again.
This time when I sat up I didn't panic I didn't hurt I just felt scared of the unknown. The first thing I saw was an garden and when I looked up I saw golden apple in the tree overhead. They looked ripe so I picked one because faced with possible food I felt my hunger that until now was just dull. They where the nicest apples I have ever had tender jet firm and as sweet as honey but with a slight biter aftertaste. I could feel the strength return in a wave and felt real again and whole like a part of me had finished sliding into place. I picked up a few apples to take with me and decided to figure out where I was and maybe who's garden I was in.
But as I walked to the top of the hill I noticed something strange stars I could see stars during the day. When I got to the top I saw that wherever I was an flat earth dream because the waters of this land fell off the world and beyond was outer space.
