Thor was furious.
How dare Loki banished their father to Earth, faked his death, and pretended to be a fallen hero? Build statues and exhibit plays in your honor? This betrayal burned in Thor like fire of Muspelheim. He wanted Loki locked up in a cell immediately. Cell. He promised him death for treason. He should do it. Get rid of this snake who can only speaks lies. Get rid of him once and for all. His brother died after fall. This man isn't his little brother who always sneaked to his bed when he was having nightmares. Did Loki laugh the second time Thor mourned him? Was it fun for Loki to see Thor naively falling for his tricks?
He found his father. And he only found more lies.
Older sister. Odin's firstborn daughter. Goddess of Death. Hela.
He was not Odin's firstborn. The memory of the failed coronation seems to burn even more in his memory. Odin hesitated then. Thor would never have thought this hesitation meant a lie.
Who was Thor? Middle child in this family of liars and schemers? Did mother know? Was she hiding the truth about Hela as she was hiding the truth about Loki's adoption? Everything was ruined. His mother was dead. Neither did his father. His brother and his sister wanted him dead. Why couldn't he have a normal family? A loving brother, a father who doesn't lie, a mother who doesn't keep her father's secrets, a sister who isn't a mad conqueror? Thor had never felt as lonely as he was then.
He was breathing hard. Clouds gathered over the cliff. Lightning danced under his fingers. He must have hit something.
Then Loki spoke up.
"Brother" Loki looked at him worriedly. How dare he? How dare he call him brother? They are not brothers. Other memories spin in his head. Loki screaming he's not his brother at the Observatory. Meeting on the cliff as he argued with Loki. Fight on the tower on Stark. They were not brothers. Not any more. Loki destroyed their brotherhood.
"This was your doing." Thor said. Thor wanted to fight him immediately. Knock him down. Kill him once and for all.
Then the portal appeared. Hela was coming.
Thor immediately changed his clothes into Asgard armor. Loki also changed the black suit into his outfit, which he wore under the illusion of being Odin. Loki approached him as an ally against her. However, Thor will no longer be naive. Loki will betray him at the first opportunity and will get along with Hela. They both have the same goal. His death. Loki has tried twice. However, he was unsuccessful. Now his ex-brother has a great ally in the form of the rightful Queen of Asgard.
She left the portal. Almost like she was the female version of Loki. Black hair, green eyes, very pale skin and a love of green. Besides, she also loves to murder.
For a brief moment, Thor almost thought he was the adopted one. Hela and Loki looked like full-fledged children of Odin. Thor was only similar to Frigga. Or was it a trick? Maybe he is also Frost Giant like Loki? Or maybe even a Dark Elf? Nothing is certain about this family.
"So he's gone?" Hela asked. For the first time in his life, Thor heard his sister's voice. The corner of his eye was still staring at Loki. The betrayal was coming.
"That's a shame. I would've liked to have seen that." Hela said.
Thor was about to introduce himself. Unexpectedly, Loki disappeared from sight. Thor tightened the grip of his hammer. However, Loki did not appear behind him. Only behid Hela. She turned and pulled out the blades. Loki fought her. Hela was clearly more powerful than Loki, but he didn't give up. Thor was stunned for a moment before joining the fight and struck a lightning bolt at Hela.
"Really, brother? Is that all you can do?" she was laughing.
Thor sent Mjölnir at her. And she smashed him to pieces!
Thor fell to his knees. It is impossible. His hammer. Enchanted by his father. He did not even care that Hela was approaching him with the intention of murdering him. Hela swung and Thor looked at Loki. Loki's eyes changed. They seemed to be bloodthirsty. Even worse than during his invasion. Before Hela made her move, a violet glow appeared in Loki's hands, which he directed against her. His sister lay in shock.
"Power Stone? Can you hold the Power Stone?" she said.
Thor realized with horror that Hela was right. Loki had the Power Stone in his hand. The power of the stone did not tear his brother to shreds.
"Enough fun, sister. Kneel before us," Loki said.
"I'll never kneel," she screamed, and attacked Thor again. He ducked. She seemed to be bloodthirsty and terrified at the same time. He was still backing away and she was attacking.
Then Loki focused on the Power Stone. Violet glow approached Hela. Loki gave her one last chance but she didn't relent. Moments later, her body was torn to shreds.
Terrified, Thor could only whisper "Where did you get the stone, Loki?"
"As King of Asgard I had to have diplomatic ties with Nova Prime. I heard Ronan the Accuser was going to destroy this Xandar. Well, I used a few tricks and Ronan ended up dead and the stone was mine" Loki smiled slyly.
Thor nodded at that. He was still in shock.
"Thor? Are you okay?" Loki looked worried.
Thor didn't want to show any fear. His mouth almost begged his brother not to kill him. Shame, shame, shame. He was the son of Odin. He shouldn't tremble ... because of the power that literally tore Hela to shreds and could tear apart any planet in the entire universe!
His brother had this power in his hands.
"I'm fine. Really, nothing to worry about. I'm Thor after all," a forced smile appeared on Thor's lips.
Fool man. Why was he reminding Loki that he was Thor? Thor that Loki hates.
"You really can't lie, brother. It's kind of weird because you have blood of Frigga and Odin. They were really great liars. Maybe you're adopted too?" Loki smiled slyly, but his eyes remained worried.
"There have always been a lot of lies in our family," Thor managed to choke out this.
Mjölnir in the pieces was lying nearby. He would like to fly out of here immediately. Farthest from Loki. Far away from that damn purple stone.
"Come on, Thor," Loki said.
"Where?" Thor asked.
"We're going back to Asgard. The All-Father is dead. Arrangements must be made for the official coronation," Loki said.
"You can take care of everything, I want to meet the Avengers. Yes, I will meet them. I haven't seen them in a long time. They definitely miss me" Thor mumbled.
"Thor, I will not prepare your coronation," Loki said furiously.
It's a trick. Loki will kill him in front of the Asgardians and will be the rightful ruler.
" I don't want the crown, ”said Thor. Maybe if he did, Loki would be not angry to him.
"Are you saying that even after Odin's death, you are not going to rule?" Loki seemed genuinely amazed.
"I want to be a good man, not a king" Thor said.
"Haven't you hit your head too hard? Come on. Lady Eir will watch you and maybe you will stop talking nonsense about abdication" Loki said.
"Go away from me!" Thor screamed fearfully.
"You really have to go to Lady Eir. You sound like you are afraid of me" Loki laughed.
"I'm staying. Here in Midgard. I'm going to this wizard. Maybe he'll give me another beer"said Thor.
"Are you going to get drunk with this wizard instead of taking care of all Asgard? All right, I'll take care of it. But you still have to return to Asgard tonight. Loki pick up teeseract. A flash of gray-blue smoke and Loki disappeared.
Moments later, Doctor Strange found him, concerned that two infinity stones had been used on Earth.
Thor was already drinking his twentieth beer. He still wasn't drunk. Why do Midgard drinks have to be so weak?
"Thor, you are telling me that your brother has two infinity stones. Of which one can destroy a planet in an instant?" Doctor Strange asked him and kept refilling his mug of beer.
Thor was nodding his head.
"A being like Loki is ..." Here Strange began to exchange various negative opinions about Loki, but Thor did not listen.
His brother could have killed him. Whenever he fought Loki, he knew he was stronger. Loki's tricks were too weak. He was a stronger brother, he was the real son of Odin, he was the God of Thunder!
Now Loki had all the power in the form of one purple Infinity Stone. He could destroy 9 Realms. Nobody would stop him.
Thor still has the image of Hela before his eyes. Confident Hela was terrified of Loki. She didn't know him. She was completely alien. She had no reason to be afraid of him. Loki gave her a chance to kneel down. She refused, but the fear did not disappear from her face. And Thor? Thor that Loki hated? Thor that Loki was madly jealous of? Thor, who pushed Loki into the shadow? Loki could kill him immediately after defeating Hela.
Thor was drinking beer and for the first time in his life he was truly afraid of his brother.
