Michael deserves a better dad, why not a billionaire?

Okay, this is based on a weird daydream so it'll probably be weird.

Henry sets a fire to free the remaining souls, Micheal stays and burns with everyone else.

He fully expected to open his eyes i, he never really forgave himself for what he did to his brother, but that's not what happens.

The souls, or maybe just the soul of his brother, are allowed to decide his fate. They think he never really had a good start to begin with...that he never had the chance...getting scooped CERTAINLY didn't help.

So they decide he should get to live again, in a new human body of course. Somewhere that has no trace of the Freddy fazbear franchise to torment him. Somewhere that he can heal from his trauma and guilt.

While the MCU does have FNAF as a game series it at least doesn't have the actual thing. Plus if they send Micheal there it could make enough ripples to change the course of the timeline and save it from it's untimely end!

So that's what they do.

Micheal is told, of course, can't send him off without warning after all.

Micheal wakes to the MCU world to find that they've created a whole background for him that semi matches his own real past in a way. He had two siblings who died, a shitty father and emotionally absent mother.

He's about 9 or 10 here.

He'd woken in a hospital beaten pretty bad, scars that match his scooper scars but this time from an attack by the dad he got in this world....only it turns out this dad isn't even his bio dad? What the hell?

So yeah apparently the man his mom was with had attacked him because his mom had told him Micheal wasn't even his. Turns out his mom got attacked first and died after telling the police, who had been called due to the shouting, about a letter she'd written for Micheal about his actual dad.

Apparently he's the result of a one night stand with some rich prick, joy.

Maybe the police call his dad, maybe the hospital calls because they need someone with a blood relation for something Micheal needs, either way a paternity test is asked for.

Micheal doesn't blame the guy for asking for one, guys rich so he probably has dozens of chick's claiming their kids his just to get money outta him.

But yeah test comes back faster than he ever expected and proves he's the guys kid.

Micheal has only been in this world a few days and he's already tired.
Super heroes are a thing here and his dad is one of them.

Iron man, Tony Stark

Micheal doesn't know if this is a gift or a sneaky punishment. Honestly though, anyone's better than William.

[Set right after the first Iron man, before he finds out about the poisoning]

Tony is freaking the fuck out, Rhodes was there when he got the call and talked him through it. Rhodey, Happy, and Pepper get Tony to talk about it. To them this kid has literally had his whole world turned on its head. Two dead younger siblings, his dad isn't who he thought he was, mother killed, almost killed by the man who raised him...

Tony and JARVIS looked into the family, they were not healthy at all, poor kid had and even worse father than he did.

After a LOT of debating he decides to take the kid in, he figures he'll do the opposite of what Howard did and he should at the very least be decent.

He'll have to be slow in introducing the kid to any bots though, seems his shitty father was also a robotics man and used them to torment the kid (seriously what the fuck?!)

Micheal meets Tony in the hospital. It's a bit awkward. Tony is trying to be calm and keeps a sharp eye on Micheals facial expressions and mannerisms while talking.

Micheal's got another genius dad who's into robotics, but from his internet searches (nurses were kind enough to let him borrow a laptop to pass the time) he's a better one...both morally and in talent.

They're slow to talk with each other but both are actively trying to get to know one another.

Micheal heals enough to be allowed to leave the hospital so Tony takes him to his Malibu home. He'd already set up a room just for him, filled with miscellaneous books and sketchbooks [he'd gone to Micheal's old home to grab his belongings and noticed his penchant for art] as well as the only picture where micheal's smile is real...where it's just him and his two siblings.

No one will speak about Micheal sobbing after seeing his new, better, room. Or how he hugged the, now framed, picture his first night there.

JARVIS is very much a motherhen over Micheal and Micheal finds him kinda cool.

When Tony isn't out saving people they try to slowly get to know one another.

Movie marathons are fun

Cooking together turned out okay [Tony CAN cook, he's just worried AF during IM2]

Micheal wakes up from his nightmares to find Tony already there holding him and soothing him.

Micheal does the same when Tony wakes from his own nightmares but more subdued and careful.

It doesn't take Micheal as long to get used to, and adore, the bot as either he or Tony expected.

The first time Micheal willingly hugs Tony first and calls him dad Tony cries.

First time Tony shouts at Micheal he out right panics stopping at the first word he shouted and decends into apologizing multiple times. Micheal realizes his new dad has issues like him and doesn't hold it against him at all.

Micheal is younger so he can't hide his physical reactions to people that he finds are off or have the same vibe as his dad....let's just say he's got an ESP for bad people now I guess. Like an extra gift from the souls or something.

Tony pays attention to Micheal and notices said reactions to people and figures out said ability [doesn't know how he knows but Micheal hasn't been wrong once]
He refuses to work with anyone who triggers his sons bad person vibe reaction. He's even figured out how to know how bad said person is. If Micheal just glares and leans away, they're shitty. If he gets nervous, something is very wrong. If Micheal full on shrinks away in fear he's getting that person as far away from his son as he can!

Rhodey is a good uncle, always compliments Micheals art and asks about how he's doing and such. He keeps all Micheals art and sometimes shows it off to his fellow military peeps.

Happy grumbles about it but he cares about Micheal and is protective AF. Like, he can and will throw hands at anyone who even looks at the kid wrong. Acts like he doesn't care but smiles so softly when given a drawing done by Micheal.

Pepper (whether she is Tony's girlfriend in this or not) is fully supportive of Micheal and brings him any art supplies she thinks he'd enjoy trying. She sets him up with some great tutors who are willing to work with him over the internet.

[Micheal's smarter than regular 10 year Olds but has some trouble making friends/isn't ready to do the whole school with other kids thing]

When Tony finds out he's getting poisoned by his own arc reactor he tries even harder to find a cure. Since they'd already started planning for the event in Iron man 2 Micheal asks JARVIS if there is a map of the place he can use to find interesting things go do while his dad will be on stage. Tony is walking by when he catches a glimpse of the map on Micheals iPad which had JUST loaded in showing a top down view. He notices the oddity of it and find the new element before shield even has a chance to send Natasha in.

Tony is still going through with making Pepper CEO, this way he has even more time with his kid.

Micheal is there for the boxing practice between Tony and Happy. He's drawing them when Pepper walks in with Natashalie.

Tony takes one look at his kid cringing away from her and promptly digs deeper into her file, exposing her as the spy she is.

Tony isn't doing all the crazy things he does in the movie, he isn't dying anymore after all, so Vanko's attack happens somewhere else.

The events of the movie, where Vanko is concerned, stay Canon. Shield tries the same "Iron man yes, Tony Stark not recommended" bullshit on him but Tony laughs in their face and asks what hack wrote the paper because he's pretty sure his therapist would like a word with them.

[They didn't expect him to have a real therapist...he only got one because Micheal said he'd only go to his if Tony went to one too]

The events of the Avengers movie happen.

Micheal is in the room when coulson shows up, he makes a joke about Loki making everyone he mind controls share his eye color (something about narcissism? Idk you figure it out)
This later leads to Tony making the same joke in the helicarrier with Thor and them finding out that Loki's eye color isn't supposed to be blue.

Micheal asked to stay at the tower while Pepper goes on the business trip and Tony goes to fight Loki. Needless to say Tony is even more panicked when he figures out where Loki is after he escaped.

Tony's "genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist" comment is changed to include father.

Loki and Tony confrontation happens but Micheal is hiding in the room when it happens. Tony sees him just as he's getting thrown out the window and both are screaming.

Micheal may have tried to punch a god and made him laugh instead. [Lokis eyes are in anguish though, thinking he'd just orphan this spitfire]

Luckily Tony comes back and gives Micheal time to run out of the room, JARVIS ensures Micheal gets to a safe room.

Battle ends, Loki gets smashed by hulk and has returned to his senses. He still asks for that drink. Micheal shows up right after that comment and runs straight for his dad. Cue heartfelt moment in front of the whole team.

Shawarma is gotten. Micheal calms down but refuses to leave his dad's side.
Tony notes Micheal's reactions to team members.
[Loki gets a stiff but okay reaction. Thor gets the same. Bruce, and hulk, pass. Natasha is a hard no. Hawkeye is on the fence. And for some reason Tony doesn't understand Steve is also a hard no?]

The Avengers still come to be but they don't live in the tower and Tony doesn't pay for them and isn't in charge of their PR. He still helps them with fighting bad guys and such but he's not about to become their sugar daddy.

Bruce gets invited to the tower though.

Loki is still taken to asgarrd but actually apologized to Micheal before leaving.

Thor shows up at the tower sometimes and acts as a delivery man for Micheal to get art to Loki (Micheal's seen that guilt before in his own eyes and figures the man could use a friend of some kind)

Thor's actually really greatful to Micheal and sings his praises to Tony. Tony doesn't know WHY his son is sending stuff to Loki but what harm could it do?

Bruce recognizes the signs of past abuse in Micheal and holds onto his anger long enough to ask Tony about it (because he knows Tony only recently found out about Micheal). One of the floors made specifically for hulk to wreck gets used after they learn about Micheal's past. He's the first of the team who asked.

The shield agents already know.

Thor asks after Micheal's scars after arriving during a pool party (Tony's therapist really helped him with dealing with water). Micheal nonchalantly tells him his mom's husband tried to kill him but that's okay, he ended up with his real dad because of it so that's okay.
[Thunderstorm over Manhattan for the duration of the tale after Thor goes to Tony for the details because he's not about to ask a child to repeat his trauma]

Steve spends more time with shield than in the tower so he only knows that Micheal wasnt in a good place before being sent to Tony.

Iron man 3 is mostly Canon just without the whole challenging a villain on national TV while telling them where you live thing.

Micheal gains a pen pal in Harley though.

Age of Ultron doesn't happen how it does in the movie because Micheal recognizes his dad's weirder than normal behavior and calls out on it. JARVIS stays alive, ultron is still born but not in the way you think. The staff actually gets stolen during the party and Ultron gets born out of a Hydra base because it's a thing that came out of the stone and not a rogue AI in this world.

Rest is mostly Canon, including Wands joining the team but that happens after Thor leaves to look up the stones and Tony refuses to work with her because Micheal's reaction to her was the worst he's ever seen.

Tony officially leaves the Avengers and has no qualms answering why when he's asked. Needless to say public opinion of the Avengers isn't all to great afterwards.

Civil war is completely different to the movie. Zemo still has his plan but instead of making it look like bucky bombed a meeting he makes it look like bucky kidnapped Micheal. (Aside from the kidnapping he treats the kid kindly, making sure he's in good health and even gives him a notebook to draw in)

Why does Zemo do this when Tony isnt even part of the Avengers anymore? Who fucking knows, maybe he just found out about cap hiding the truth and wanted to get Tony to go full scorched earth on the Avengers for him.

Either way they still go to Siberia (maybe the whole team does, no airport fight because this is actually about saving Tony's kid...the accords can wait) see's the video, Steve tries to lie, Micheal is released from one of the rooms he was locked in and is there to stop his dad from punching Steve.

Steve is not in anyones good graces right now, not even buckys,.

Right now Tony cares more about his son being safe.

Peter doesn't get recruited but is noticed and getting help via new suit and shit.

Okay so here's some extra crazy, what if Cassidy tormenting William decides to go even crazier. Let's say William, after being tormented for so long, remembers the good times to try and cope. He wasn't always a shitty father. But Cassidy knows about Micheal's gift and shows William how better off his son is without him.

This backfires...William's obsessive personality comes into play.

That was HIS son. That heroic smuk doesn't deserve those hugs or affectionate words, those should be Williams.

Maybe he gets that extra oomph to escape Cassidy and force his way into the other world. Maybe he ends up in the body of the dad who attacked him and he escapes prison, maybe he's like an evil spirit, up to you really.

Either way, if you include this or not, it's battle of the dad's but one is healthy the other is very toxic.

That's all i got. like i said, it's weird but hey maybe it'll be interesting. Have fun!
