"Hey Deku," Kacchan whispers.
"What?" the tiny green parrot answers in an equal low voice.
"Imma tell ya' a secret, but ya can't tell anyone, kay?" Katsuki says.
"Kay," Deku responds in a barely audible tone.
"I love you, Deku. A lot. Kacchan loves you," Katsuki tells him sincerely, with a little genuine smile and a fond gaze.
Deku gasps.
"Kacchan loves me! Kacchan loves me! Kacchan loves me!" Deku screams and Katsuki can't help it but chuckle and feel his heart flutter.
"Hey! It's a secret, kay nerd!?" Kacchan reminds him.
"Kay," Deku understands. Apparently.

Katsuki couldn't avoid his group of idiots anymore. They wanted to have a meeting at his new place. There was a little problem. He can't recall how many times he has talked to them with the speaker on. By now, Deku recognizes all their voices and... has learnt some... not so very nice things from him.
"Oh my God Kats! Why didn't you tell us that you had such a pretty birdie in your apartment???" Mina squeals, trying to get near the parrot. "You are a cute little thing, aren't cha?" the pink haired girl praises him.
"Shut up, Raccoon Eyes!" Deku yells. Mina brings her hand to her mouth in surprise, and everyone starts laughing out loud.
"Oh my God, Blasty, he is a mini-you!" Denki chatters.
"As if, Dunce Face! I'm the best!" the parrot responds in a proud voice and puffs out his chest.
The giggles don't stop, and Katsuki can't help it but blush. However, he won't deny that a part of him feels proud of Deku. The parrot has changed his life for the better ever since he rescued him a year ago.
"Hey, Hey, do you know who I am?" Kirishima tries.
"Course I do, Shitty hair!!!" Deku says, jumping excitedly from side to side. Kirishima tears up.
"Bahahahaha I cannot, how can he..!" Sero attempts to talk more but the situation is killing him.
"Fucking study already, Soy Sauce Face!" Deku orders him sternly.
"He recognizes everyone from our group I can't either!!!" Mina laughs, and then a bright idea comes to her mind. "Hey, Deku... can you tell us Kat's secret?" she questions him and Katsuki's face pales.
"DEKU," Katsuki growls, but it's too late.
"KACCHAN LOVES ME! KACCHAN LOVES ME! KACCHAN LOVES ME!" Deku howls, flying around Katsuki until he lands on his shoulder and plants a 'kiss' on his cheek, even making a big smooch sound.
The blond's cheeks redden.
"KACCHAN?!!!" all his friends inquire, amused.
"Sh-Shut up! Deku's the only one who can call me that since he can't pronounce my full name," Katsuki explains, matter of factly.
"Damn right!" Deku counters back, and Katsuki feels his chest bloom.
"Exactly that, nerd," Katsuki affirms and kisses the parrot's tiny cheek.
A/N: I'm seriously considering of making this a fantasy AU, with a shapeshifter Deku that has beautiful green wings; he was rescued by Kacchan as a 'parrot' and has been recuperating by his side, one day he gathers enough magic to change back into his natural form :3
