Chapter 8
Steve groans and slowly opens his eyes. God that was a serious headache!
He expects to see his room but to his utter astonishment, he sees holding cells! Who would put Captain America in a holding cell?
He slowly gets up and looks outside and sees that Natasha and Clint are also in here, Natasha was blank-faced and observing while Clint was screaming with justified anger. Wanda, that poor kid, not only was she in a cell but she had a suppression collar around her neck. She was looking at him with tears in his eyes, poor kid, she didn’t deserve this.
Steve was sure that this was that Princess’s doing. She treated them with nothing but contempt since they got here. But he didn’t mind that much, she was a kid and a smart one at that, she was also helping Bucky so it was okay. She could also show Tony that he was not the only genius in the world, which would help to tone down the man’s ego.
But this had gone far enough. Not only had she put them in holding cells but she had put a suppression collar on a kid! Steve was sure T’Challa would get them out of here. When he does, Steve will make sure that T’Challa would give his sister appropriate punishment, too much of that behaviour can’t be encouraged. It would only cause her to do more harm, heaven knows he gave Tony chances without punishment (when he was a full-grown adult), and look where that got them.
Steve was bought out of his musings with T’Challa’s voice, “Ah Mr. Rogers, I see your awake, good we have a lot to discuss on the new arrangements on your living conditions.”
Steve looked in front of the cell the king, he expected him to have an ashamed face for what his sister did and to be spouting apologies. But he was standing there calmly with no expression with his sister who looked very happy and was giving them a cruel smirk. The Dora’s were also there, who as usual was looking at them with disdain.
“What is the meaning of this? Why have you put us in a cell? And can you remove that collar from her neck, that’s inhuman and she’s just a kid, you can’t treat her like that. You can’t treat any of us like this.” Steve said with righteous anger.
“First of all Mr. Rogers, Ms. Maximoff is not a kid, she is a woman in her 20’s who if I am honestly speaking is a terrorist-
“She’s a-
“Do not interrupt me, Mr. Rogers. This is my country, I am the king and you were my guests but now you are prisoners-
“But-
“I said do not interrupt me, Mr. Rogers. As I was saying that woman is a terrorist who has abused her powers and has continued to do so without stopping and thinking about what she is doing to others without their permission and has cited her reason as not being able to control her powers. Which is due to lack of training and you people let an untrained and dangerous person on the field! So the collar is not going-
“But she-
Steve could not get the next words out as he was shocked by electricity rather violently.
After it was over he stood up painfully. He looked around but was not able to find the cause of the shock.
“Please do interrupt my brother again Rogers so I can shock you.” Said Shuri with a predatory smile, she was holding some kind of remote in her hand.
He looked at T’Challa, who instead of being disapproving was rather amused.
T’Challa then turned his attention back to him and said, “Like my sister said, you will be given a shock if you interrupt me, this might not have been necessary if you had just listened Mr. Rogers, but guess that’s not your strong forte nor is speaking the truth to teammates.” He gave Steve a mocking smile before continuing “So, the collar will not be removed unless we find some other ways to restrain her powers, well it could be removed if Ms. Maximoff was willing to cooperate but well we can’t talk to a person that has a one-track mind. She also has a lot of charges against her, and they are also reinvestigating the ULTRON incident to see what exactly her involvement was. I also heard that Ms. Potts will be pressing charges for some things that will be revealed later.”
Poor Wanda was looking horrified; tears were flowing from her eyes and were not stopping. She did not deserve this, they were portraying her as a monster when she was a true hero.
“On why Ms. Romanoff is here, it is because of a long list of crimes, I can’t even list the entire thing. There is the incident in D.C. with you-
“But-
He was given a much higher dose of shock this time.
“Guess it takes more than one shock for you to actually listen, but we have time. Ok, so Ms. Romanoff has that charge, then a lot more charges from before that which I need more time to look at, only the lawsuits from that is enough for her to be in jail for her whole life. Then there is also the mess from Lagos to helping criminals escape. Ms. Potts will also be pressing charges against you; actually, Ms. Potts is pressing charges against all of you which I don’t know till now of what they are.”
He and T’Challa looked at Natasha whose face was blank but had turned really pale after hearing everything. If they looked closer, they could also see sweat beads starting to appear on her face.
“Mr. Barton is here because of his involvement in getting Maximoff out of the compound, then Germany, and then escaping custody. Ms. Potts will be pressing charges which are still unknown.”
“You Mr. Rogers are here for a number of reasons, starting from the D.C. incident with SHEILDRA. Abetting known terrorists like Ms. Maxomoff and Mr. Barnes-
“They’re-
He was again given a shock again.
“Guess you really are more stubborn than a child. As I was saying, Abetting two HYDRA terrorists, this is a charge against Ms. Romanoff and Mr. Barton as well. Ms. Potts will also be pressing charges which are still unknown. Lagos, Romania, and Germany, you will be sued for all the casualties and property damage. And last and the worst Siberia, the attempt of murder or if the worst happens then the murder of Mr. Stark-
“I didn’t-
And he was given a shock again. This was the worst one.
“Do not say anything to me, Rogers. Say everything you want to the court when the time comes. Don’t worry it will be very soon. Your lies have come out Rogers; the entire world has seen you for who you truly are. The world has seen everything and has chosen their side and unfortunately for you, it’s not yours.”
T’Challa turns on the T.V., which was outside of the cell.
Steve could only watch in horror as everyone was calling for their heads, specifically his and Bucky’s. They were burning his figures, they were marching inside the Captain America Museum and breaking everything, it was shutting down.

“This has to be wrong; they don’t know the whole truth. Once me and Tony go out there and tell the whole truth, then this will all calm down.” Steve said in desperation. It has to right? The world will see his side eventually and realize he was right.
“You still believe the world will take your side after this? Better yet, you still believe Dr. Stark will take your side after what you did? You’re even more delusional than I thought.” T’Challa looked disgusted “I am done wasting my time on you.”
T’Challa left the room with his sister and the Dora’s.
He doesn't know where Sam and Scott were but was pretty sure they were in another cell somewhere away from here.
Steve looked at the other cells, but they were all staring at the T.V.
Everything will go back to the way it was, Steve was sure of it. Once Tony recovers from the few bruises he had, then he will come out, tell the truth and get them out of here.
He hopes Bucky will hold on till then.
Tony will come for them, he’s sure of it. They had something going on after all. Steve loved him and he’s confident Tony loves him back.
It’s not a secret that they didn’t get along the first time they met but then Steve started to get attracted to Tony. He started getting used to the Genius. Steve didn’t want to admit to himself at first, he decided not to think about it much more; Steve was not gay after all! He just thought of it as care for Howard’s boy.
But over time, he couldn’t deny it anymore. He would dream and imagine Tony, handsome Tony naked and inappropriately (he will admit to that) and would immediately have a hard-on. Oh, more than once had he dreamed of many ways to shut that mouth and use it for much more pleasurable things than spouting bullshit. He would need a cold shower after that. But he couldn’t help but wish that it was real or would turn real one day. He finally accepted that he wanted Tony Stark in his life.
He couldn’t do anything about it as Tony was dating Potts, who frankly encouraged all of his bad habits. Natasha agreed with him when he found out about his crush, he would not encourage Tony’s bad habits and he would also keep his ego in check, she also said that they were perfect for each other. When Tony broke up with Pepper, he was sure, they were meant to be together. It was a forever.
Tony was Steve’s. No questions asked.
Then all this mess happened.
But, it’s no problem. Tony would get them all out of here in a matter of time. It would only take his Tony some time to accept that he was right. His Tony would also punish T'Challa for locking up the team, putting a suppression collar on Wanda, and for giving electric shocks to Steve.
But what if it takes more time for Tony to realize he was wrong?
Then Steve will have to find a way out of this himself. It was no problem, he was Captain America, T’Challa could not stop him and his team before and he won't be able to now. A technologically advanced country won’t be able to stop them, they had even stopped ULTRON, and just like that this will also be easy.
Then he will go back home with his team and Bucky to his Tony. If he still didn’t understand that Steve was right, then he will let Wanda use her powers a little bit on Tony. He might also ask her to do it in such a way that Tony won't be Iron Man again and would only make their gears and be their financial backer, he can't let Tony get hurt. Not only that, but Tony does more bad than good when he wears the suit. He doesn’t want to do it but he had no other option, he had to keep the genius in line. Without mind control, Tony won't understand what was good for him and that he loved Steve.
Then he will do all the things to Tony that he dreamt of, their life would be perfect.
Even if Tony was controlled by Wanda, it would be for his own good and only Steve knew what was good for Tony.
Of course, he won’t tell Wanda to control Tony forever. Only till the time, Tony realizes what was right for him and that he loves Steve. After he realizes all of this, then he won’t be controlled by Wanda anymore.
Yes, the plan was perfect. He only has to get out of here.
Then it would be just him, his Tony, their amazing family, and their life as heroes.
