Jean Grey can and would tell you how she was glad Kitty Pryde is gone. She´s not entirely sure why such intense feelings always emerged when Kitty was around- Dazzler, once and only once, jokingly suggested Jean may be Bi-curious with Kitty Pryde which prompts Jean to agonize late at night over and over-, however, now that Kitty Pryde is gone...there´s no need to worry about the nature of her feelings.
The news about Kitty cheating Piotr is juicy gossip to everyone. No one thought their marriage would last- Ororo was the one who was vexed by the relationship but Piotr assured her, poorly, that it was true love- and no one spare anyone´s feelings regard the fallout of Kiotr.
"I saw her cheating, like, it was really blatantly. How he never noticed?"
"Poor Piotr, he did fall for such type"
"I heard he was pursuing her since she was 13 years old, that´s fuck up"
Jean is the first to say she doesn´t care for Kitty Pryde- her dreams and musings aren´t outstanding- and even dare to think life will be normal- Logan and Scott are still under her charm and soon enough, Jean can say her life is sweet now.
Jean can also feel dread traveling throughout her body as a new figure approaches the X-mansion. A man with blue fur and golden eyes-actually, only one is gold as the other is crimson- has a gentleman smile even if you can see the fangs.
"Good morning, my name is Kurt Wagner, I heard this is the X-men..." he trails off unsure and Jean flashes her charm smile, time to put a show.
"Of course, we´re the X-men, do you need a place to stay?"
"Well, I´m not sure if I can ask for help, I heard you guys kick out one of your members,"
Jean scowls. "Well, yes, Kitty Pryde aka Shadowcat is or better yet, was, a bad element for this school. She cheated on her husband...and we had to get her out," Jean explained annoyed wondering if this man is one of Kitty´s followers.
Kurt opens a big grin on his handsome and blue face. "And you feel no remorse? Good, good, it makes my job here so much easy!" His grin got wide and wider and Jean realizes a bit too late...
There´s no more body anymore, just a floating spiral devouring or causing people´s bodies to be consumed by itself. The sky is no longer blue, just crimson and golden.
Jean can hear laughter.
Jean can see nothing...until nothing devours her.

"You know, for someone who is a powerful and chaotic being, you do act a lot like a cat," Kitty mumbles as Kurt´s head is on her lap as the woman is reading a book.
Kurt purrs either to tease her or it was genuine.
"By the way, the X-men were really out of this planet?" Kitty asked putting the book down and caressing his head. She has a blank expression direct to him and only receives an amused one in return.
"Do you want to see them?"
"Eventually, I guess..."
"Then, eventually, I bring you to see them,"
Kitty takes a few things from this conversation. She´s not normal, her companion did something to the X-men and he´s really a cat person now.
All is well in Kitty´s house if you ignore all logic and common sense. There´s only chaotic energy in Kitty´s life now.
