part 6

N/A: An X-Men makes a bold question to Zaorva “Why LK?” and Zaorva can answer honestly.

Ororo Monroe has her fair share of odd love stories Doom wanted to marry Ororo and so does Dracula-flatter as in thought, the execution, in reality, is less than romantic- therefore, Ororo feels she can´t judge too much.

“But you are...” Kitty, or the being who presented herself as Kitty Pryde, speaks softly, as she’s holding a big mug of coffee. “No, I´m not reading your thought, just your body language,” Kitty promised and takes a sip of her coffee.

If her husband is a being who adores chaos, pain, and beer, well, Zaorva likes coffee.

“I just...want to understand, why you marry.....him?” Ororo is smart enough to know she can´t call what she truly thinks of Zaorva´s husband, either fearing a negative reaction from Zaorva or the said being, being polite is the best excuse here.

Zaorva drinks her coffee and gives no signals of being offended or annoyed. Once the mug is empty, now Zaorva responds.

“I love him and he loves me, we don´t complete each other because we´re being complete, we´re Outer Gods, Ororo, not...gods or humans...something beyond that,” There’s a wistful look in her expression now.

Ororo can only imagine what she is thinking and Ororo knows that whatever she imagines doesn´t come closer to the truth.

“We´re chaotic beings...but so different, if I have to respond to your question with all sincerity and if me saying I love him is not enough, imagine this: We´re the ying-yang. He’s destruction, I´m creation...we exist together and separated,” Zaorva creates another mug-the previous one vanish in thin air- and a new brew of coffee is being tasted.

Ororo blinks at this response. She doubts LK has any love for anything...then again, would she call Zaorva delusional for saying this.

“I think I can understand that, he loves you,” there´s no room for argument in her tone and Zaorva nods in approval, “but...he’s evil, malicious is the word you use often, just tell me...how? How do you live with him?”

Zaorva stops drinking her coffee and stares at Ororo. Such intensity and such power with one look, one look from a human avatar.

“You seem to think I live in the merry state and create flowers and sing all day, don´t worry, many people think that of me,” Zaorva rolls her eyes, “while I love creating, I do create many things you mortals consider bad...oh no, not bad humans...you humans are free to be the worst of the worst if you guys wish,” Zaorva states fraught with nostalgia and melancholy.

“The humans have free will, but, I also create other things that you humans can use for good or bad, I take the blame...maybe, maybe I´m a hoard,” she shrugs nonplussed about it. “the point is, creation can be as deadly as destruction. I know that, he knows that. We know that,”

Ororo is not entirely sure who the “we” refers to.

“So, yes, he has done terrible things, I did things that would be terrible and yes, sometimes I ask for him to spare planets, sometimes I watch him destroy planets...the thing you have to understand is: we´re Outer Gods, we´re beyond what you mortals may understand of morality...” Zaorva concludes now drinking her coffee pleased by the new brew.

Ororo absolves this information.

“In Kenya, the tales of the Black Pharaoh are told to anyone who dares to listen, they say he had a wife so pretty and no one believed she was there out of her free will,” Ororo repeats the same words her mother used to say about those tales.

Zaorva hummed and put her mug down. “Oh, that’s an old narrative, very popular, there´s one where I changed him for the good, which is hilarious!”

Ororo nods and concludes the conversation. “How many Ororos asked this question?”

Zaorva now blinks, and an amused smile spreads across her face. “You´re the fifth, though, the second was under the belief I was chained to him, literally. Oh, she’s fine but she made a passionate speech about how my husband is evil and I didn´t see it,” Zaorva chuckles.

Ororo shakes her head, that version of herself is silly...is clearly shows Zaorva knows and still loves.
