" Babe it's only once a year please, you just need to hang at my arm and smile for a few hours and it'll be gone !"
That's what Sam said, and technically he wasn't wrong, that's the only thing Bucky would have to do tonight.
But what he hadn't anticipated was that it'll be that tiring.
" Who's this again ?" he whispered in his boyfriend's ear keeping a wide smile on his face.
" I don't know just keep laughing or nodding at the end of his sentence." mumbled Sam back with a grin.
" ... yeah so that's how Emily and I met and later had 2 perfect daughters. How funny of a story ! But anyways I keep talking but how did you two became friends ?" laughed the old man as he concluded the story of how he unhappily married a 18 year old girl when he was in his 40's.
The two men who did not really listen but definitely think they heard him said " friends" giggled.
Captain America looked at his boyfriend.
And as Buck tried to come up with a story about their " friendship", he decided to go for the truth.
" Actually, i think I fell in love with him the first time I saw him. We met because of Steve on sort of a "mission", i could say, and ended up being partner after our favorite blond's departure.
We're not yet married and don't plan on having kid in the near future but we're very happy that way."
Sam smiled, watching the man's face decompose in front of him as he learned that America's symbol was, in addition of being black, Gay.
" "Yet" ? Are you trying to propose darling ?" laughed Bucky as he came closer.
Playing with that old man's feelings was really funny.
Leaving, what seemed to be, an important, and kinda homophobic, senate member speechless, they thought it would be the right time to finally get away from him.

" What did you guys do to that poor man ?" asked the host laughing.
" We told him we were fags, i think it was too much for his heart. If he has one.
But whatever, how are you doing Pepper ?"
smiled the captain as he took the blond woman in his arms. " And how is little miss sunshine doing ?! " he asked with a wide smile, lifting the laughing little girl in his arms.
" Hi Uncle Sam ! I am doing really bad. I am angry, a mean someone screamed at my Mama !" pouted Morgan Stark as she hugged the avengers neck.
" Omg Morgan !!! Who did that ? Tell me so I can scream back at him !" said the super soldier faking offense as he was being passed the little one.
" Hello Uncle Bucky ! " she said happily.
" I'm gonna tell you but it's a secret, you gotta scream at him discretely or I'll get in trouble for telling you ..." she whispered at her uncle's hear.
"Morgan stop bothering the boys !" laughed their mother as her daughter gave the Sergeant Barnes his instructions really seriously.
" Pepper i think you need to keep a hold on little miss here, because she's starting to be way too much like you ! said Bucky his eyes wide open at how the 8 year old was already looking so much like her parents.
"She already got /a whole ass/ execution plan going on here."
" Ass ?" asked the child still sitting in the guy's metal arm, followed by a clear laugh.
" For fuck's sake Babe stop teaching her bad word's ..." tried Sam.
" Fuck !" repeated the kid proudly.
" Yeah now I remember why I don't let you two babysit her ..." sighed her mother.
Miss Stark, apparently finding insults really funny bursted out in her pointy laugh.
Quickly making the adults surrounding her join.
" Pots, we're really tired we're gonna take a little break if it's not a problem." asked Bucky in a sigh.
" Yeah of course I know you need it. Be back in a few." she answered with a smile taking her daughter back.
" Thanks a lot, see ya later Pots, you too little one !" said Wilson waving to them.
