Those toughts lingered in her head until they became unberable and she got up , picked up her Tempad and put Loki’s cordenates in it , the infamous orange portal opens and in the blink of an eye she was gone from the room.
When she got there she went straight to seeking him , checking each interogation room , each ofice , until she heard a sniffle from the room she was about to enter , quickly recognizing as Loki .
As she reached for the door and opened her mind went blank , and when he turned around to look at her , eyes red from crying and cheeks stained with tears , she forgot what to say , but she grew hopeful when she looked in his face , there was a relieve , he didn’t look mad or angry for her being there , he looked conforted by her presence. So she gained courage and took a step closer.
He does the same until they are only one step away from each other
And quietly whispers
I’m sorry
Loki understands why she did it , that doesn’t change the fact that she betrayed him , but it gave him a chance to love and forgive .
Just like his family did with him
And so he takes her face in his hands and closes the gap between them.
All her worries fade away
